Recommended Customer Reviews
Zach came to my new house to give me a quote on some repairs at my new home. He quoted me $520 to replace a kitchen faucet (NOT including the cost of the faucet), another $160 to replace the washing machine rubber hose to a stainless steel hose (again, NOT including the cost of the hose), $160 to replace a dryer vent hose with a metal vent hose (NOT including the cost of the metal hose), and over $1,000 to remove a toilet and sink and then put them back after floor work was done in a powder room). SERIOUSLY? When Zach came to my home a few weeks earlier to unclog a drain, he said the problem was fixed, but the water still backed right up in the sink after he left. Another employee had to come back a few days later to loosen the stopper enough for the water to pass through. The second employee said he was going to tease Zach for not doing his job properly. Needless to say, I rejected all of Zach's proposals and called another plumber. Buyer, beware!
I always have had good results hiring Advance Plumbing but I want to send a special shout out to one of their employees Chris. He found my sons wallet on a road and returned it with everything included. I wanted to give him a tip and his answer was ""No, because I hope that if someone found my wallet they would do the same for me.""
Thank you Advance Plumbing for hiring such good honest people.
The only good thing I can say is that they were good about accommodating us in a timely manner and arrived when we expected. The plumber spoke in a very condescending and rude tone and just didn't seem over all interested in helping us fix our problem which was evident when the issue returned hours after he left. Not to mention it smelt like he had poured a bottle of cologne on himself that morning which is very unprofessional when working in people's homes.
Jason M.Hello everyone; I had advance Plumbing Heating come to my house this morning. They did a great job with my situation. Help me a suggestion with any situation. Devon the plumber was great for help me with stuff that I need to know. Thanks again
Jade H.I'm not really sure why they have low reviews on here (although some are older) but they really are a 5 star company.
Background: they did the oil to gas conversion in our home in November 2017 (yup I'm doing this review over a year later). We had about 5-7 quotes and they were very competitive (some were lower some were higher but I think their quote was the best value for what we received). During the install they were clean and efficient. I think it took about 3 days? We got a Bosch Greenstar Combi unit (ugh) and a water heater (but not the normal ones...something different I can't remember the name). The combi unit IS a water heater but we needed more so I guess this is like a reserve tank.
Anyway, soon after we had some issues with the boiler (low water heat mainly) every time we called Chris came back and fixed it (usually within a day).
Alright cue a year later. This boiler is annoying my husband has to reset it often. But no big deal. Wouldn't u know after our service warranty ran out this thing acts like it's wants to break break. I emailed them after hours and they called me bright and early the next morning to send someone out. Chris (not sure if he's the only full time employee or what) came and swapped out the igniter and said he's gonna have them call me for a more (hopefully) permanent solution. And guess what? No bill. Did they have to not charge me? No. Was I ready to pay? Yup. But that was really awesome.
So you may be wondering why I'd give them a glowing review for the somewhat crappy boiler they installed? Easy, I had actually done my research and this boiler and it had good reviews.
Put it another way, if you go to a car dealership get a lemon but the dealership makes it right for you, you wouldn't trash the dealer right? Exactly. I appreciate that they stand behind their service. I think that's what sets them apart. So A+ from me.
I had an emergency situation with my water heater leaking. Contacted them and spoke with a representative who said someone would call me back. Its been over 8 hours and still no call. Needless to say, I contacted another company who was much more prompt. I would not recommend this company. This is poor customer service and bad business ethics.
Advance Plumbing and Heating... I recommend to everyone that they find someone else for their plumbing and heating needs. To replace a tub faucet, shower and shower curtain rod on a clawfoot tub, their tech quoted $900. I had already bought identical replacement parts, so it was just a simple swap out. After I rejected this ridiculous estimate I called another licensed plumber who did the job for $200.
Had a sewer line backup that turned out to be invading roots. The team spent 2 hours rooting the sewer pipe and though they thought they were going to have to up, finally removed a large root ball 60' out. Despite the time & effort, price was exactly as quoted, and competitive to all other plumbers. They prepped the basement floor and left it impeccably clean and even spent some time on questions and checkout of other pluming needs.
Happy E.For those who gave 4 stars and up must have really deep pocket. Just want to hookup my fridge to a waterline (straight line about 5 ft away from the sink) the whole thing will cost me close to half a Grand. I was shocked when I saw the quote. But they easily made 60 bucks out of me though for less than 10 minutes job. I don't understand how they stay in business.
DO NOT EVEN BOTHER. They come out, don't know what they are even doing and oddly have to ""call a company"" when that were at my house to find out what parts were needed. I spent over $600 on parts AND MY furnace is still broken!! They, very begrudgingly, came out 3 other times, again they had no idea what they were doing and kept blaming it on the ""company they had to call to see what was wrong with my furnace."" I finally just gave up on them. I'm truly disgusted and will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. If I wanted a fight, I guess I could have kept calling them and calling them but after 6 visits! It was absurd. Again, they weren't very nice about it either and as a single mother, it's kind of intimidating dealing with them. I sure wish I knew the name of a good company that could fix my furnace!!
