Lynn S.Very high estimate. Admiral Plumbing's estimate for installing a hot water heater in my home was over one thousand dollars ($1,000) more than the two other licensed plumbing services I called. Obviously I didn't use Admiral's services. If you call Admiral Plumbing in Palm Beach County, I would advise getting other estimates as well for your own protection.
My first experience with Admiral was for the installation of a tankless water heater for my home. Two plumbers, one was a master plumber and his assistant who in the process of becoming a master plumber. Both were very attention to detail oriented, professional, used top quality components and parts, cleaned up when they broke for lunch and after they were finished for the day. After the installation, a return component was recommended, which wasn't part of the initial quote, for faster hot water to faucet time (which I am very happy with). The lead took the time to explain how the system worked, what to look for in the event of an issue and where important shut off valve's were. Subsequently, I have used Admiral for other plumbing jobs and each time was happy with the work and clean up. I would highly recommend this company!
If I could give zero stars, that's what I would do. I had an emergency issue with a toilet flooding my house and they sent a plumber to write up an estimate. Several days went by with no estimate and the office dodging me, saying they needed """"to check with the tech"""". This was put in writing in several text messages. I called again today (a week and a half later) to ask where the estimate was. Amanda in the office said I signed it. Before I spoke with Amanda, I was on the line with Tiffany, who said """"nobody told you we needed to re-review the estimate."""" I told her I would send the screen shots and read her the texts, because that's exactly what they said THREE time. They re-sent the estimate (which did include some other things) to me and it was $3200. I asked repeatedly what the cost of replacing a single toilet was and Amanda and Tiffany both refused to answer. Finally, Amanda said """"well since you can't read your estimate I'll read it TO you."""" and said it was $628. I asked her to clarify whether that includes the flange, because the plumber they sent out said it needed replacement because the toilet was rocking. I was told """"no, we would have to send someone out to check that and then we would send you another quote."""" Honestly this office is a circus and the people in it are far less than polite, honest or qualified to do anything. I was lied to repeatedly, dodged and then condescended to and called a liar. Super sad because I really liked and trusted the plumber who came out and I would have chosen him to do work here on any day. Amanda and Tiffany kill it, not in the good way.
Tiffany who schedules the appointments is terrific! But Nick the Sr Plumber told me my two Toilets were old (semi true) and said he wouldn't touch them to fix He said I needed to replace both ! The competition came and did a great job by simply replacing a part for each 200 Grand Total parts and labor ! The only reason I gave Admiral Plumbing one star is because I didn't have the option to give them negative ten stars!
$10,800 paid out to Admiral this year for household repairs and I'm still experiencing issues with my home's plumbing. After speaking on the phone with their service manager Chris and then meeting him at my home, I scheduled a follow-on service call. Chris even told me he'd personally show so he could supervise any repairs. They sent a technician to my home over 2 hours late, and no Chris. He hasn't even bothered to call me and it's been 5 days. This is customer service? This is how you treat a loyal customer? Nov 4, 2021: This is my follow-up from yesterday's post. Admiral contacted me yesterday after my original post. The service manager told me that it was all a big misunderstanding and that he had me on calendar to come to my house today. That's weird... no one told me! Admiral sends a technician to my house this morning and tells me that he can't start any work until I remove yesterday's post. There's a word for this, it's called extortion! I immediately called Admiral and spoke with Brian, he's their operations manager. I told him what the tech had said to me and he responded by telling me that those are the orders from the GM. I told Brian that his people are not welcome on my property, call them back to the office. I will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau. Hey Admiral, you can't treat consumers this way and expect to not reap consequence. Stay away from this company. Questionable work and borderline criminal behavior.
Briana K.Very pleased with their service. They were very responsive when we asked for a quote and showed up in the am, quoted 2 sinks and 2 toilets to be removed, and started the work right away too. Fast and excellent work. Very happy with Josh and Josh and plan to use them in the future for any plumbing needs!
Jaime A.The tank in my toilet had a crack and water was seeping thru. Called them and they gave me an appointment for the same day,for a free estimate. The serviceman was Zachary,he was personable, showed me different toilets and gave advise on which was the most appropriate, based on the existing wall plumbing in my bathroom. He called me 2 hours later and scheduled the replacement for the next day.He showed up on time, did a very good job,was not messy at all,and left the place very clean. I am very thankful for their prompt and efficient service. I highly recommend them.
They sent a technician soon after called, when others required a week delay. The plumber diagnosed and resolved the problem, explained it clearly, and offered useful tips. Recommended.
Michele J.Admiral Plumbing Services was outstanding!! They knew exactly what was wrong and wasted no time fixing what needed to be fixed. Their prices were extremely reasonable and everything was fixed in less than an hour.
My faucet was dripping so I bought two new Moen faucets from The Home Depot. Called for appointment to install. Turns out they had to remove both bathroom sinks to replace faucets. Now both faucet leak and when Admiral's Plumbing tech Daniel arrived for the second time they claimed that they do not warranty faucets unless its supplied by there own company. They claimed that both Moen faucets where defective. I talked to Moen customer service and they claimed that was highly unlikely and they probably did not flush out the lines correctly before installing but they will send me new cartridge's. In any case $520 later, Admirals tech Daniel claimed they would fix it for about another $200 after I received the new cartridge's from Moen. I'm sure Ill have better luck doing it myself or calling a different company. The only reason I gave two stars is because they actually showed up on a Sunday and temporally stopped the leak which was nice.
