I would like to update my review. I received a call from the Manager today, David. He wanted to rectify my dissatisfaction. He was great and refunded the payment I made on the repair. He really went out of his way to make sure I was happy. Many times we are not happy with service we receive. But rarely does the company try and rectify it. This company did. I commend them.

Work Quality and Completion:
- Arrived on time. A day later, a part broke so had to fix broken part. Techs plumbers were nice and neat.
Sales and Customer Service:
- Sales guy GB was very knowledgeable and explained whys and made sound decisions.
- Phone rep someone named Ginger was impatient, sarcastic and as if she was trained to block any complaining customers even if you were not. She is only good in the initial phone intro but after that is questionable (and this happened twice). I was only inquiring and tone of voice was humbling so as not to aggravate as I already felt her tone. But no, she always made you feel like ""why are you calling and asking all these questions, it's not my job"". I work and train customer service phone and in person reps and I am trained to be always always professional even under stress and not confrontational but firm and decisive. I am sorry but this is where the big stars fall.
Pricing:
- Maybe a bit higher but I can't say because I did not have time to get quotes as we need the water break fixed immediately.

My toilets had been slow for the past couple months, i had just told the wife we probably needed a rooter service to come out.

Yesterday I got a postcard/voucher in the mail from Paster for a deal on rooting. Figuring that most of the offers in the mail are bogus, I looked them up. Mostly 5 star some lower, so I gave them a call. Set an appointment for today.

The plumber that came said he didn't think it was the line he thought it was the toilets themselves, and gave me a demo on why. I was convinced, I can replace my own toilets. He offered to snake the lines for the agreed $69 anyway, but said it wouldn't help. Figuring I was on the hook for the service call, I asked what will it cost me for you to do nothing? His reply, ""Nothing.""

Hurray for the honest plumber. This company has earned all my future plumbing business

I have used Paster many times over the years and would only use them as my Plumber until my latest experience...I called Paster at 11:45am on Sunday for a water heater replacement. ""They would have someone out between 2-4."" and I explicitly confirmed that they can do a water heater on Sunday and either have heaters in stock or have access to them. I was told yes they have or can get and can do the job no problem. I get a call at 4:00pm telling me that the guy is running ""a little late."" I asked how much longer and was told about an hour. At 5:45pm the guy shows up. Immediately, he begins to tell me that it's unlikely that he can replace my water heater until the next day! WTF?? Then after looking at the old water heater (7 yrs. old), he determines that he will need to run a drain line to the outside by punching through the walls because of new codes. Starting to sound like a minor job is now becoming a major one. He advised me that he would need to call his boss to see if he could do the job and have me sign afidavits in order to bypass the drain lines being an issue. Then he would need to track down a water heater because they do not have any... Basically, I was given a bunch of BS by the woman who took my call and then got nowhere after almost 7 hours of relying on Paster.

I needed my water heater replaced at this point no matter what, made a few calls to 24hr. plumbers...had a professional plumber out by 8pm, who brought a water tank with him (same kind the Paster guy said they use). He completed the job in a little over an hour. Charged me $950 for a 55 gal Bradford White, Installed on a Sunday Night!

No more Paster for me!

They will charge your credit card in full before work is done and work will not be completed in a timely manner. Not a family owned business anymore. Crooks!

Paster plumbing did previous jobs at our house and we were always very satisfied with them and trusted them. Our garbage disposal broke and was leaking oil. We called them and they came the next day. They gave me an estimate which, ok my fault, I didn't check the price online of the garbage disposal the technician recommended. He did the job in one hour. I paid the invoice. After he left, my wife told me to check online to compare with their price. Paster charged me $600.00 for 1 hour of labor plus the cost of the garbage disposal. Of course they give you only the total and don't break it down on the estimate. I called them to have an explanation of the fees because I felt I was overcharged. I left a message to the manager who never returned my call. I called again to be told that he is very busy!! I left a message to another person who did not return my call. This is the first time ever that I do a review. I am very disappointed that Paster did not take the time to explain their charges when we are a previous client of them. I should have check online before signing the estimate. Hope it help others not to make the same mistake I made.

Paster Plumbing came to fix a clogged washing machine drain on 1/16/2015. The plumber said he wasn't able to get the snake through the drain but he tested and the water was draining. He charged $139. The first wash I ran, the drain backed up. I called and they said I needed to replace the trap. My wife suggested a second opinion. Another plumber came and fixed the drain on 1/20/15 for $104 including tax. The drain has worked fine ever since. Today is 2/3/15.

I recently had a plumbing issue in an older home that, as usual, needed to be taken care of right away. Knowing that most plumbing problems carry with them a sense of urgency, I think that many are weary of being overcharged or otherwise taken advantage of...if you have this common concern contact Gary from Paster Plumbing and Rooter! He arrived quickly and addressed the issue competently and at a fair price!!I would not hesitate to contact him again in the future and recommend his services to any who ask. So what was beginning to seem like a nightmare turned into a problem pleasantly solved thanks to Gary. It is so nice now knowing I have a go-to guy for any plumbing needs in the future. Professional work at a fair cost!!

We own our house for 8 years and it was built in 1965... We have been calling different plumbing companies for repairs because we were not happy with their service or price.
Gary from Paster is a great guy that you can totally trust. They are not money hungry and did the job perfectly. The job costed over $2500 but they only took a deposit of $200 and didn't take a penny more until the job was totally done even the outdoor stucco and paint was completely done. Our kitchen sinks constantly were clogged, but after their repair we can finally cook and do dishes and not worry about the water getting clogged all the way. I will definitely call them again and again and ask for Gary a real professional technician who gives great advices.

When your house is nearly 60 years old, you tend to get to know the local plumbing companies. In the last few years I've had my share of plumbing issues from a leaky water heater, to a corroded sewer line to a leak in a pipe in the attic. Ed Paster and Son is my go to plumber. I find their prices to be fair for the amount AND quality of work they perform. Their response time is usually pretty quick. Jay in particular has done great work for me and when he's not available Matt does similar top quality work. I recommend them to anyone that asks if I have a great plumber.
