I've contracted with them for a furnace, mini split and water heater. They definitely charge top dollar, and so far, they've shown up and done what they said for the price quoted: replace a water heater. I knew the installation would take longer than planned, as I have an old house, but it was the next guy who got screwed. The big part, the furnace and mini split, are still ahead, and I have yet to commit to the loan and reading these reviews i will be very careful.

Had a horrible experience . We needed a air conditioning service . They quoted a price to come out and if there was anything that needed parts and labor would be extra ... okay so when they came they said a different story . Price they said was just to drive there . Then another price to assess . Plus the job that needed to be done was 2000.00 more than what actually was needed !!! Waiting for a refund on the over charge !

Addario's is wonderful until you have a problem, we were family club members for several years. We had great routine maintenance service from them but any time we had a problem they were terrible. Most recently they couldn't figure out what was wrong with the furnace. After several days in the dead of winter with no heat they stopped answering our phone calls and didn't call back when they said they would. It got to the point where I felt they were ignoring my calls so I called on my phone and no one answered. Immediately after I called back on someone else's phone so they didn't recognize the number, they picked right up. That was the final straw. After we realized they weren't going to help us and we were going on several days without heat we called someone else who came right out in the late hours of the night and fixed the problem in a couple of hours. We are no longer family club members and would not recommend their services.

I had 11 different HVAC companies come out and quote me on a large job that had a very specific time frame to complete.

Addario was not the cheapest, but they did commit in writing to having the job completed within my tight deadline, so I went with them.

The salesman that quoted me was top notch and his extensive follow up was much appreciated.

The manager Raul that was onsite was hands on, had extensive knowledge and communicated effectively on the progress of my job.

1st day 8 trucks showed up on my property. They worked 14 hours. I asked several times how the job was going, since I made a point of being there and they were on a roll. I also asked several times, we are on schedule for the inspection on Monday, we will look into it, is all I heard. Saturday they worked another 12 hours. I was told Raul would be back onsite Sunday as they fell behind. He never showed up on Sunday. I called and texted him and the owner Joe, received no response. Monday a couple guys showed up and I told them before hand they were being kicked out by 2pm, as the job needed to be done Sunday. 2pm they leave. My cleaning crew showed up shortly thereafter, and there was no heat. I had the following done: replace heating system from 80,000 btu to 100,000 btu, replace regular water heater with a tankless water heater, build 2nd laundry room. I show up at 3pm and sure as anything there is no noise coming out of the heating system. I called the main number was on hold for 45 mins. I called on my other phone, Raul and Joe no answer. I finally get thru and tell the rep what I see and they said we will get back to you. A while later 2 guys show up and then I have heat. They leave. Next morning, no heat. They come back evaluate the red lights and then I have heat. They leave. Next morning, no heat. 4am I call both Joe and Raul, as of this writing the following day no response. I called the main number when they opened, again, on hold for another 45 mins. They send out HVAC guy at 10am and he apologizes the job was done wrong. All the ductwork needed to be replaced and put on the ""right way"". He leaves. I get a text saying the team is on their way,4 hours later no one shows up. I call the main number again on hold for an insane amount of time, the rep says they are coming. The 2 new guys replaced the ductwork, the lights are still red. They go upstairs do something to each thermostat coming back down and said all set. I said your not leaving until the heat goes up in that 48 degree room. They actually started to vacuum my floors and steps, to keep themselves busy, nice touch. We all waited and finally the temp increased by 10 degrees so I let them leave.

I asked the guys that came on site yesterday, would this debacle have failed the inspection, no the town inspectors wouldn't notice - no heat. What??

To date, no inspection has happened. They had the only window to book an inspector, 5 weeks in advance, and they didn't do it. Now you work around my schedule, they might be able to get in there in July to do a final inspection by the town.

They respond when you book them. They answer the call when they think they are getting a sale. But as soon as the job starts, they go radio silent.

Joe is the owner and needs to be held accountable for this disaster. You need to be fired. Raul should take over.

Do yourself a favor, do not entertain this company for any plumbing, electrical or HVAC work.

They are inept, uneducated, unprofessional and will leave your house in disarray (took a door off and didn't put it back on, left wire pieces all over the steps/carpet, cut siding, metal, wood, and left the pieces all over the side yard of my house).

We had one zone not working on our heat. Guy came out and quoted over 2k to fix. I opted not because it did not sound right. After he left BOTH zones were not working (weird) and they charged me $149 for the visit. I had it fixed 2 days later for $384. (Essentially the same fix too).

This had to be one of the worst experiences in my life! I am a 20 year customer of Addario's...never a problem,..until July 6th when I called to request service to install a new bathroom faucet. Well after making me an appt for 8 days later I found out I had to order the part from Home Depot so had to wait. I waited 2 weeks w/no hot water cause the old faucet was broken so had to shut off the water. Anyway finally on Monday the 26th I got an appt for Friday the 30th between 4:00 ad 6:00. That morning I got a call from a Christine telling me that they would not be coming to do my job that day! I told her if they didnt come I would never use Addario's again. She said no way were they coming because there were elderly people w/no hot water! Well I am in the same boat but when I told her that, she could care less so I hung up on her. A few minutes later Deb called back and said they would still come that day. I waited till 6:45 for a guy to come...he changed the faucet and charged me $700 to replace that faucet. Also a $200 consultation charge for no consultation. Im lucky he honored my Senior Discount sand got $100 off in coupons. But the fact remains that I paid almost $600.00 to switch out a faucet that I SUPPLIED! I tried to contact the company to no avail. Im just saying do not call Addario's if u have a small job no matter how many big ones u had before. I am so mad about being overcharged but what can I do except warn u about their unfair practices and not to use them. Maybe we could have worked this out if they had gotten back to me but as of now they have lost a 20 year customer and they took advantage of an elderly person because they knew how much I needed that water back after waiting a month.

Needed to clean my outside condenser because I didn't clean it for years! They sent out Brian Lewis he was knowledgeable, friendly and did a great job also cleaned up nicely. It's running like new!! Will be using them yearly and if I have any problems again. I will be requesting Brian as well.

Go with someone else. They called me at the last minute to say they can't make an appointment scheduled weeks ahead. This has happened several times to me. The person making the appointments will tell you one thing, then the dispatcher will call you at the last minute telling you something completely different. Sold me a three year ""family plan"" with ""preferred scheduling"" but still could not keep their commitment to me. Buyer beware !

TLDR: Not worth the money; go elsewhere.

I'll start by saying it was my mistake for not being over-bearing on the contract details and lacking information regarding the job; don't make my mistake. Our rep(Marc) made verbal promises that weren't written down accordingly, and then became unresponsive and unwilling to work with us when I started to bring these issues up. Technicians were mostly decent guys; they did the work but had an air of ""this shit happens all the time"" about them when it comes to issues and complaints. The guys that came in and installed the furnace just left the old exhaust fan behind the new unit and left bits and pieces all over(screws, plastic bits, metal shavings, etc). There were several items that we had discussed but were either not included in the final contract, or were described differently in writing. One star is solely for the quality of the work done and the time taken. Again, my mistake for not thoroughly reviewing the contract details and being uninformed going into it, but lesson learned.

Final thoughts and suggestions to folks out there looking to work with this company(specifically for HVAC):
-Don't go with Addario's; there are plenty of better options. Choose someone else that's been in the business longer, and has a better reputation.
-If for whatever reason, you have to go with Addario's, make sure you have absolutely everything discussed included in the invoice. If it's not written down, don't sign the contract.
-When reviewing multiple quotes, expect these guys to be either the most expensive option, or amongst the top. Do not equate that price tag with quality; these guys do nothing above average. This is the kind of company that lives by the phrase ""overpromise and underdeliver"".

If someone from Addario's is actually reading this and made it this far, please don't reach out. The most satisfying part of the job was it being over with and not having to deal with your company anymore. Let me save you the time and money by saying I don't care about your bs family club plan. I don't care to deal with some guy coming out to my home for ""check ups"" just to sell me shit I don't need. Be happy you got paid. Thanks for a job done; take the rest of that garbage some where else.
