There are better companies to deal with. I hired them and had to find someone else because they wouldn't get back with us I a timely manner about questions we had.

Please note that most, if not all but one, of previous reviews were for Adams Plumbing and Heating under their prior owners. I contacted AP&H originally for a water heater problem and their response came the same day. Their original estimate for a time when a technician could reach my house was 2-3 business days, much shorter (when you have no hot running water) than the 3-7 business days quoted by two other P&H contractors. I managed to fix the water heater problem myself but asked AP&H to call to schedule a time for a gas furnace tune-up. They responded within another 24 hours and we made the appointment for two weeks out. The technician was clean, courteous and knowledgeable. He cleaned up the water tracked into the house (he arrived during a snowstorm) and explained every part of the service he performed. The work was done efficiently and for a slightly lower price than my previous furnace tune about three years ago. I get the impression AP&H are a relatively small outfit but I recommend them, even for emergencies as their first thought is to re-arrange their schedule to accommodate them. 5 stars.

Please disregard the poor reviews! Those were from a past owner/manager no longer with the company. The current owners are awesome! The customer service I received was so polite, prompt and knowledgeable. Go check out their reviews on google if you need! They speak for themselves. Awesome local company.

We've used Adams Plumbing &Heating twice over the past three years. First to inspect and maintain our boiler. More recently to replace a section of leaking drain pipe. The technician was professional, knowledgeable and efficient on both occasions. On the recent visit, the technician communicated well regarding his schedule and arrived with the proper materials, did a good job, and we thought the price was very fair. I did notice their trip charge has decreased since we used them the first time. Will call again if we need future assistance.

I am surprised the overall rating on Yelp is low for this company. Many neighbors recommend this company on NextDoor.

Go elsewhere! We called three times on three different days and got the receptionist. No one returned our call. We went with Conifer Plumbing and Heating which actually called back and reserved a time for us. Conifer P& H understands customer service which is more than Adams can say.

After explaining that I don't know anything about my new baseboard heating system, the person who came to ""fix"" the broken heaters tells me that the issue is that my baseboard heaters are closed. So really they spent almost two hours and charged me $245 to open the baseboard slats. DO NOT HIRE THESE scammers.

No one mentioned the $150 ""trip fee."" Really? 18 miles to Conifer/ Morrison? I never would have had them out if I would have known that- it was just conveniently added to my bill. Excessive and unprofessional- Never again!

I built a new home they were excellent at being on schedule for install, when I had issues with anything they immediately within 24 hours took care of the problem. I would hire them again for anything regarding heating and plumbing. Love these guys!

Harvey and the team at Adams plumbing and heating are fast and responsive and provide the most important SERVICE AFTER THE SALE. I had an issue with a water heater that they installed for the previous home owner 2 years ago and I had a small problem and emailed him in the middle of the night. Harvey called me back as soon as they opened despite being backlogged 2-3 weeks! He was patient, helpful and a good listener, he gave me options and was able to schedule a technician 24 hours later despite the fact that this wasn't a big $$$ job. Possible the WORST company I have ever worked with in over 25 years of construction. Wes came and attempted to fix 3 toilet flush assemblies. He charged $500 for this work and never managed to do the work properly as the toilets don't flush and still run. He was ready with all sorts of excuses of why he could manage this basic plumbing work. Initially I tried to have him explain how the shut-offs and pressure regulator work in the basement and he was rude and defensive even though he didn't do and work in this area and I told him I just needed a laymen's explanation of the system. There are plenty of good plumbers with some basic courtesy out there he is not one of them. 0 stars, TERRIBLE!
