Recommended Customer Reviews
Paige R.I rarely give bad reviews, especially since the last time we needed this company they were there for us. This time, I called on a Saturday morning and got the on call guy and he said he would be here in 30-45 minutes, I said okay and agreed to the in call price. Then, he call me back, 30 minutes later, to say it's raining to much to come out! It's raining at HUS house, but not at mine! Meanwhile I have no toilets and may have to wait until the rain quits. In April, in Mobile!
Mary B.Run from this disreputable so called plumbing company. Allegedly, they fixed the plumbing problem, only for the leak to reappear less than 2 months later. The graceless customer service lady gleefully informed me if they would make another repair visit, they would charge. Totally unprofessional and incompetent!
Susan T.Hired Adam to install a hot water heater. Adam stated that he was required to install an expansion tank as it was code. I checked and it was not required by any city code. I questions Adam and he stated : I always install expansion tanks."""" When asked what the cost was for the extra tans, he would not give a breakdown of the costs and stated I charge everyone 425.00 to install water heaters. I told him to go ahead the install the tank Adam walked off the job and refused to do the job stating, """"i don't see eye to eye with you"""" and """"I have plenty of work to do with other customers'. Highly unprofessional not to provide a breakdown of costs and to walk off a jobsite without doing the work.
They claimed to fix a problem with a leaky facet which was supposedly repaired in May 2019. Now I have the same problem. I called back and the rude young lady told me that she would have to speak with the plumber who fixed it. ( not just send someone out like a regular business would). I waited 8 hours no call, I called back asked for a supervisor and no return call. This is why you shouldn't support local, I will be reporting them. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
Sharon D.Its unfortunate that a plumbing company that looks like they did a good job on the plumbing aspect would leave my yard in total ruin. It's running into 4000$ at this time. Beware of the track hoe and no compensation for ruined grass and concrete surfaces
Adams responded quickly, called at 8:30am on a busy Monday and they arrived by 10:30am, for a overflowed toilet that I could not unplug. Major was professional, personable and very competent. He fixed the problem then checked my other toilet for issues. I was very pleased with the service from the handling of my call, the follow up phone call to let me they were on their way, to the resolution of my problem.
I have used Adams many times over the years and three times in the past two weeks for three different issues. In each case they have arrived in a timely manner and performed with alacrity, friendly professionalism and results. Special commendation to Paul. Christopher H.
Misty D.Were quick to answer and easily scheduled someone to come out to the house to figure out the problem and get it fixed.
We hired Adams to hook up our sink after we had new countertops installed. We were selling our house at the time, and shortly after we hired adams (just over 30 days) the house was inspected. The inspector reported a leak from the sink. Adams refused to repair it at no cost because it was after the 30 days. We are going to have to pay for someone else to repair what Adams installed a little over a month ago.
Rebecca C.Adams Plumbing (Joe Mraimer) is the most unprofessional and incompetent plumbing company I have ever dealt with. They forgot to move the water on/off valve on the wall up and over from where it was originally. in addition the rough in for the toilet was suppose to be a 12 inch and they made it a 9 1/2 inch rough in. I had already bought the toilet I wanted and they saw it before breaking the concrete and moving the hole for the toilet. I had to buy another toilet that I'm not crazy about to fit the rough in. These huge mistakes were found after he abandoned the job and I had to hire a new plumber. When I called and pointed out his many plumbing errors, rather than admitting he made mistakes he began to yell at me and told me to shut up and said he would send his guy over to tear out concrete and tile and move the hole. I told him the tile had already been laid on the floor. I asked for partial refund since I had to get new $600.00 toilet as well as new plumber. He sent me a letter that said no refund because they did """"extra"""" work that they didn't charge for. If I could give Adams Plumbing a """"0"""" on star rating I would because I don't even think Joe Mraimer deserves a 1 star.
