THEY DID NOT SHOW UP. I'm giving this place 1 star because of it's un organized business handling's, NOT for any services that it provided but because I never got to use them. I called in a panic on Sunday evening because my bathtub and sink were starting to back up.. I was told that the next day would work and that they would give me a call when they were on their way.. 3:30pm comes around and no call, so I call and am told that in half hour i'll get a call back because they were wrapping up another job but that I was on the list for service. NOTHING till 7:30pm, they call just to tell me that they won't be coming but i'll receive a call the next day to have my plumbing fixed. WTF!!! I told them that was totally unfair of them, I had waited all day with no plumbing and to wait for a call the next day was not right. I thought they were a reputable company here on yelp??? So they finally said 3:30pm would work the next day.. After hanging up I decided that I would look at another company to provide services... A-plus plumbing here on yelp came out within an hour and helped fix my plumbing situation.
If you want to be waiting all day for a phone call, just to get FLAKED on use this company.. If you want reliable service then look elsewhere.
If your all booked up, then just say so.. Don't take on too much which results in canceling on your clients.

Mo and Max came out on a Saturday morning, about an hour after I called with a shower that would not drain. They knew I was having company later that day, so they came, and unplugged the drain within 10 minutes of arriving. They were fast, competent and cleaned up! I will definitely call them again! Thanks, guys!

Hello ""Yelp"" people - I'm a 50-something, family man, engineer and stubborn DIY kinduvaguy

Well, having gotten impatient with my own ""DIY methods"", I gave up and called two plumbing companies: ""Active"" was at our house (Fremont) by the time I got home from work (SJ) - within 45 minutes after I had called.

Within 20 minutes after letting them in, and these guys getting their tools out, they fixed the clogged sinks.

Very smooth. Very courteous. Painless.*Professional*.

Highly recommend these guys :)

I used their services on 2 different occasions. The owner, Mo, is very courteous and knowledgeable. If there are alternatives, he suggests what they are. He worked around my very difficult schedule and he was very responsive and on time. He and his brother made sure that the job was well done and didn't rush things even though he had other jobs. I had a very good experience overall and I'm definitely planning to call him next time.

Active Plumbing came through for me when both the toilet and tub backed up, and when another company had failed to deal with it.

I had called another plumbing company the day before, but didn't have the work done, because the dispatcher was so rude, they were late, they never called as promised (l had to call them over & over to find out when they were coming.) They finally showed up 70 minutes after their 2-hour appointment window, and they were so incompetent that l told the plumber l didn't trust him to handle the toilet. Their company had had 2/3 good ratings here on yelp! - not anymore!

I saw that Active Plumbing has all 5-star ratings on yelp! l called and spoke to Mo. He was both polite and intelligent, and when l told him about my previous experience, he said, ""That won't happen with us."" He set up an appointment right away.

The plumbers from Active were on time, and they figured out the problem right away. They gave me an exact quote before starting the job, and they were finished in 20 minutes. To them, the excellent service was no big deal, but it was to me!

Always get a man to do a man's job.

Mo and his brother are a great team. Had some rough in plumbing I needed done in the East Bay. Seeing my plumbing contractor wouldn't go out to Pleasanton I called Mo at Active and he came out and gave me a quote for rough in on a small full bath. He came out the next day which was a Saturday to take care of the job so I could continue on my job.

Clogged pipe which is shared between 3 apartments. My sink was filled with water and overflowing each time someone above me ran the water. This happened on a Sunday. I called Mo at Active at 9:00am and he said he would come to my apartment between 11:00 and 11:30. He arrived at 10:45 earlier than expected and not only snaked the line to clear it but he vacuumed up all of the water on the floor. The whole job took about 30 minutes. He was fast, clean ahead of schedule. On a Sunday you can't get better than that.........extremely satisfied...

I had a leak at my house very early on a Saturday morning, and Moe came out and fixed the leak within 45 minutes. He then replumbed a shutoff valve from a very tight space next to the house (which took a great deal of work in a very small space) so that we could reach it, and on top of that replaced a broken faucet and disconnected a water softener system and fixed the pipes relating to that.

He did all of this in one morning, and charged what I would consider a very competitive rate.

I strongly recommend this company.

i run a care home business and i needed help immediately. 2 months prior, i used another plumbing company twice and the same issue kept occurring. as i was driving down sundale i noticed the active plumbing van so i gave them a call to see if they could help. mo answered and came to my house promptly. he showed me exactly what was going on with his camera and was very knowledgable. thank you active plumbing.

Mo is fast but he broke my sprinkler head extension while looking at the source of the leakage. He doesn't look very professional at all. I'm hesitated to let him touch my plumbings.
