Majid is a very honest guy and very nice to work with. Gave me a quote that was well below another plumber I contacted. Told me things that I don't need and pointed out problems that I should look into fixing but never pushed his services. The estimate was given over phone based on my description of the problem and after seeing pictures of the issue. The final amount after some changes in the scope still came out to the same quote. There was a mistake made on identifying the correct pipe to connect, but once it was known, Majid came by the very next day to make the fix and did a very clean job! I've found the plumber for my future plumbing needs!

I needed an under sink water filter system installed which required a hole drilled through a granite countertop to install a faucet. Many of the plumbers (through Yelp) I called said that they didn't do drilling, and the ones that did quoted figures in the range of $400 - $650.

Then I contacted Majid, the owner of Active Plumbing And Water Heaters. He was responsive, courteous and gave me a specific quote which was far lower than any of the other quotes. We set up a time for him to come do the job. On the day of, he stayed in contact with me, arrived on schedule and completed the job efficiently and with minimum fuss. He also politely answered a lot of my novice questions about plumbing, and was a thorough professional. I appreciated his work and would definitely use him again in the future.

I hired Majid of Active Plumbing and Water Heaters to replace my home water heater. After the work was done I noticed it took over 4 minutes to get hot water in multiple faucets. I was advised by the recirculation pump distributor that the pump should be bled after installation of the new water heater.
I called up Majid and asked if he could come out to take a look. Majid said he was busy and could show up when he is free and would call me in advance. I waited for two weeks and still no show.
I finally hired another contractor and he identified the problem. Active Plumbing and Water Heaters installed the one way direction check valve between the recirculation pump and the water heater in the wrong directions(backwards).
I am really disappointed with Active Plumbing and Water Heaters. Though Majid acknowledged the problem and offered $150.00 credit towards labor for future work , I am not sure I want to use them again.

We had a late night emergency and Mo came out quite quickly to check it out (we live right down the street). The next day they were able to sort out the issue and had installed an access point in our yard.

The main problem came in what happened after we paid them. They didn't pack down the dirt around the new access point and so after the rains it settled to where the lid wouldn't close. We basically had an open sewer in our front yard. I called Mo and he said no problem and they'd come fix it the next day for free, which was great to hear. However several weeks later they still didn't come. I called again and he said the same thing. 3 calls and several months later it was clear we were just receiving the brush off.

We used Active Plumbing & Rooters to do copper repipe in the house. Mo was recommended by my wife's coworker, and the price was reasonable compared to other quotes we got. Mo quoted 1 day for the job, and 1 day for inspection. Here's how it went:
- When sawing out the garage wall to gain access to the pipes using a reciprocating saw, they sawed through the gap and ended up sawing through the dining room's drywall on the other side.
- The way they installed the pipe valves in the bathroom cabinet prevented the drawer from closing properly, so they had to rework it a second time.
- The wall texture they used to patch up dry wall did not really match with the surrounding texture.
- I had to tell them to apply caulk to at least the top portion of the bathtub faucet face plate. The caulk job looks sloppy because they did not smooth it out with their finger.
- Some joints around the water heater had leaks and puddled over night, so that caused some more rework.
- He had a can of foam explode in his van and spilled in his car and on my driveway/curb. He only did some scraping to try and clean them off, but it wasn't very successful. Now I have spots of dried foam stains around the curb.

What disappointed me most was that at the first inspection, the inspector demanded that we need to show and air pressure test in order to pass. Mo was surprised by this requirement, and I was surprised Mo's reaction to this. For a plumber with years of experience, I would expect him to know this city's requirement beforehand. I verified the requirement just by going to the city's website and checking their plumbing inspection requirements. We had to disconnect the waterlines and perform the air pressure test and schedule another inspection later. Second inspector almost did not pass us because there was already water in the system.

Overall the work took almost a week from start to finish.

In short, my personal experience with Majid from Active Plumbing and Water Heaters were courteous, professional, and he showed a deep knowledge of his trade. I had multiple plumbing related jobs at my home and called into Majid for an initial consultation to assess the cost and how it would be done without impacting the existing fixtures.

I was consulted and assured of the installation of the washing machine and also install the water inlet to my fridge through the kitchen cabinets.

During the job itself, at no point, I felt the Majid was going to skimp performing his job.

He delivered, period. Very professional and punctual!

I don't write reviews but this one is special and Mohsen is our man; I mean a superman. He saved our day and job worth $ 2445.00 from a scammers disguised as a plumbing and rooters company. As good as it gets, a short call to him explain our sewage problem and in no time came though he was off duty. He checked our two toilets, find out which one was clogged and right away fix the problems. Prior to that we have contacted one company and took me already a day for their technician to come. I was expecting it could be done but it dragged for another day and remain unfixed. Here's the thing, sensing that I am a senior citizen, another technician showed up and came out with very technical analysis that this and that should be done and gave me several options and cost as much as $18,000.00. Shocked indeed and cancelled their job order and that's the time I called Mohsen of Active Plumbing that only cost me a fraction of what have they quoted. Beware of this scammer, I can give you the name of this company upon your request.
