Jack, the owner, was very communicative about when to expect him, he said he'd call when he was headed my way. He then called to let me know that he was on the way and would be at the house in 22-25 minutes. He showed up when he said he would. He had a tough clog to undo, but persisted until the clog was cleared. He was almost to the road. We're pretty sure that roots have grown into the sewer line, but my water is flowing freely again and I'm super grateful for that. He even cleaned up the area and my floor when he was done. The last guys we had before never did, so that made me even more appreciative!!
I'm not sure why my location is showing up in Chicago, but I live north of Springfield, MO. :)

Compared to other reviews I had completely opposite experience. I had a home warranty, they communicated wonderfully and took time to explain each process. Showed up each time they said they would and appears to have done a thorough job. I had a busted sewer line. I would use them again in a heartbeat and also listened, didn't talk down to me and treated me like I had common sense. Most other companies do not do this. I was very impressed! One of the worst companies I've ever dealt with. I have a home warranty and they contracted Action Rooter to fix our hot water heater. There was ZERO communication from them. The only time I communicated with them was when I called them. Then they would say they would call me back, but never would. It took them almost 2 weeks to show up. The day they finally showed up, they were almost 4 hours late. After they left, our hot water would only last about 4 minutes, not even long enough for a shower. I called them the following day and, of course, they said they would call me back. I never received a return call from them.

These guys were the best. I filed a claim through my home warranty and they were at my house by 11 am the next day. My needs were not emergent and they still worked me in before leaving for vacation the next week. They came on a Saturday to fix my leaking faucets and did an outstanding job. The fixed a leaking tub, leaking outside faucets, and created access points. Even cleaned up after themselves. My worker has been doing plumbing for 34 years. Great service. Highly recommend.

The owner of this company showed up to my house and lied to me. Told me it was the septic causing the clog didn't even look in the house. Wanted 1700 to fix. I called another company, they came in the house and unclogged the clog for 190 dollars. Had nothing to do with the septic tank Do not use this guy he is a crook.

We originally used Action Rooter as our plumber to fix an issue covered by a home warranty. They did a good job so I hired them to help with our basement remodel. After most of the work was done they said we could go ahead and start hanging our drywall. Well, we noticed one of the water lines had not been run to the toilet. No big deal, right? I figured they might have just forgot about it and that they'd comes out a finish the work ASAP. I thought wrong. It took several phone calls and emails before someone finally responded. I even called the owner, Jack, who said he himself would come out and help. Didn't happen. They didn't show up when they said they would, won't answer phone calls, won't answer emails and now I'm left with trying to find someone to finish the job. I'd also already paid them for some of this work that has yet to be done. As a Realtor, I run into people all the time looking for a good plumbing company. Guess who I will NOT be recommending?
