Called a couple of days in advance for them to check a leak in my faucet. Appointment was made for a one hour window time frame in the morning. I was home the entire time, and apparently these guys called my phone and left a message. I didn't get the call or message. So they moved on to the next. Didn't bother to show up at all, didn't bother to call again. Basically wasted my time. What's the point in making an appointment if these guys aren't going to even show up? I own my own business, too, but I show up every time, unless my clients call to cancel. I did NOT call to cancel. I, unfortunately, didn't get their one phone call or message, but that doesn't mean they can just pull a NO-SHOW. You call again. Until you hear the words- ""I'd like to cancel"" or ""no don't come over"", you show up. What if I was on a conference call. What if my phone was on silent and I just didn't get to it. TERRIBLE customer service. I guess they're so busy that they can afford to screw people over every once in a while. Their excuse, ""Oh, ma'am, we're just so busy."" Well, so is everyone else and their mother.

First of all, I totally agreed with the comment that ""Mark Y"" said about the Action Plumbing abandon their customers and don't return calls. However, my issue with them started 3 weeks ago. I had a minor leak in one of my toilets so I contacted the American Home Shield (home insurance company) which they contacted the local company to get in touch with you etc.. Normally you should receive a call from the local contractor within 24 hours but I understand that sometime that's not the case. I received a call from Charlie (Action Plumbing) about 3 days later. He asked me when is the best time he can send someone over. I told him that I'm off every Friday so Charlie told me he'll call me back. When Friday came, he called me late afternoon and asked me when can he send someone over, I told him now is good or Sat-Sun is fine with me. He told me that they don't work on the weekend so I told him ""how about next Friday""? he said he'll call me back. A week went by, he called on Friday late afternoon (again!) and gave me the same routine ..., but I had to work all weekend so I told him I'm off next Friday as usual. He told me I'll give you a call back. This week is the 3rd week, I received a call from Charlie today Friday late afternoon (once again!). He asked me the same routine .... I told him, I'll be home within an hour at the time it was around 1:40 pm. I told him I'll give my brother a call to see if he can come over and let them in. Unfortunately, I couldn't find anyone then Charlie calls me back and started giving me an attitude, I told him I'll be there within an hour and he replied ""well you told me 15 minutes ago you'll be there within an hour"" At this point I was pissed because he was trying to make me accommodate his time so I told him ""don't worry about it, I'll find somebody else to do the job"" then he started telling me it was my fault that I did not call him back to make the time and I was never home etc.. so I hung up the phone. I received a call 15 minutes later from one of his employees but it was already too late, I told him don't worry about it, I'll find somebody else. I don't normally write a review for a business but I just want people to know that customer service is important when running a business. Words travel far and people don't have to use your service. There are several businesses out there that have comment sense and willing to accommodate your time not the other way around. I will contact the American Home shield and report this issue, hopefully they'll reassign a better company this time.

I had them out under a Home Warranty claim and they did all the work I needed. But now that I started using one of the toilets that they fixed, it is not working properly so I can't really use it. I have been trying to contact them for awhile, but all the numbers that I've found for them say leave a message...and their mailbox is full, so I can't leave a message or make contact. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated so that I can reach them and they can come back and fix my toilet properly.

I called around 9:00 am regarding a leaky kitchen faucet. Owner Charlie called me back within the hour and said he would send someone over asap. Jason soon stopped by to examine the faucet. He advised a new kitchen spigot as mine was 15 years old. He said I could save a bunch of $$$ by going to Home Depot and buying myself. He explained exactly what brand and type to buy. After a few hours running errands which included buying kitchen tap I called Charlie back. Jason came back and my kitchen faucet was replaced by 3:00 pm. Both Charlie and Jason are kind, polite, professional people. I highly recommend Action Plumbing.

Charles has been my plumber for over 15 years in Makakilo. I've had him work on my sinks, toilets, showers, water heaters and he's always provided me great service without any problem. The other day, he completed a task, when I tried a different service provider for my shower dripping. I appreciate his professionalism and willingness to restore my water service to my house on a short notice. He's a busy plumber but worth the wait if possible. My family and I thank him for such great service to our needs in the area.

I am updating my review from 6 years ago to tell everybody to stay as far away from these people as possible. They charged us around $7,000 to ""repair"" a burst pipe under my driveway. They used the wrong copper pipes and now everything they did has to be replaced with the right type of copper pipe. It is unbelievable to me that a plumber would charge that much money only to have their work fail 6 years later. Whatever you do, DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!

Friendly and easy to make an appointment. In my case, a hose came loose, after the repair, but they immediately sent someone to fix it, so no big deal. They also are friendly and prompt and their rates are affordable. Would recommend to friends and family.

Nate was awesome. He came the very next day and was very accommodating. He changed the bathroom faucet and explained everything to me. He was friendly and knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend him to others as well as use him again for other plumbing issues.

two separate people had mentioned action plumbing when i had a potentially bad plumbing issue. everyone on the action plumbing team was super responsive, helpful, friendly, and communicative. denise answered immediately took my information and had charles return my call a few minutes later, then dispatched jason to visit our house within a couple of hours. jason quickly found the issue, and gave us a comprehensive plan that saved us time/money/risk. he had found a corroded part, for which if he attempted to work on it may cause a shutdown of our house water until they could get a replacement part, so he redirected the leak into the tub, and returned with the part the next day. in total it was 30 minutes for the inspection and prep, and 30 minutes for the repair the next day. their rates are reasonable professional hourly rates, plus parts, but the response times, friendly confidence, and expedited completion of the work, make this a strong recommendation from me. after service i was invoiced by mail and was able to pay by credit card over the phone.

Charlie at Action plumbing was very prompt and provided me with excellent service. I needed a new water heater and I needed it installed the same day since I was leaving the HAWAII area the next day. Charlie of Action Plumbing got right to it and arranged to come to my condo and within 4 hours installed a new water heater. I highly recommend this plumbing company.
