This guy did an upstanding job!!! He was called out to fix the problem the Steve's Plumbing had created. My garbage disposal was leaking again and had ruined the flooring under the sink. He came in and everything was fixed in less than 10 mins and he explained everything to me as he did it! The guy's name was Charlie and he was fantastic! From his knowledge, his attitude, and his promptness. He even looked at and fixed my bathroom sink for no charge. Just a great company all around. He stays busy and it's probably because his work speaks for itself!!! I highly recommend Action Plumbing for any of your Plumbing needs!

I called around 9:00 am regarding a leaky kitchen faucet. Owner Charlie called me back within the hour and said he would send someone over asap. Jason soon stopped by to examine the faucet. He advised a new kitchen spigot as mine was 15 years old. He said I could save a bunch of $$$ by going to Home Depot and buying myself. He explained exactly what brand and type to buy. After a few hours running errands which included buying kitchen tap I called Charlie back. Jason came back and my kitchen faucet was replaced by 3:00 pm. Both Charlie and Jason are kind, polite, professional people. I highly recommend Action Plumbing.

First of all, I totally agreed with the comment that ""Mark Y"" said about the Action Plumbing abandon their customers and don't return calls. However, my issue with them started 3 weeks ago. I had a minor leak in one of my toilets so I contacted the American Home Shield (home insurance company) which they contacted the local company to get in touch with you etc.. Normally you should receive a call from the local contractor within 24 hours but I understand that sometime that's not the case. I received a call from Charlie (Action Plumbing) about 3 days later. He asked me when is the best time he can send someone over. I told him that I'm off every Friday so Charlie told me he'll call me back. When Friday came, he called me late afternoon and asked me when can he send someone over, I told him now is good or Sat-Sun is fine with me. He told me that they don't work on the weekend so I told him ""how about next Friday""? he said he'll call me back. A week went by, he called on Friday late afternoon (again!) and gave me the same routine ..., but I had to work all weekend so I told him I'm off next Friday as usual. He told me I'll give you a call back. This week is the 3rd week, I received a call from Charlie today Friday late afternoon (once again!). He asked me the same routine .... I told him, I'll be home within an hour at the time it was around 1:40 pm. I told him I'll give my brother a call to see if he can come over and let them in. Unfortunately, I couldn't find anyone then Charlie calls me back and started giving me an attitude, I told him I'll be there within an hour and he replied ""well you told me 15 minutes ago you'll be there within an hour"" At this point I was pissed because he was trying to make me accommodate his time so I told him ""don't worry about it, I'll find somebody else to do the job"" then he started telling me it was my fault that I did not call him back to make the time and I was never home etc.. so I hung up the phone. I received a call 15 minutes later from one of his employees but it was already too late, I told him don't worry about it, I'll find somebody else. I don't normally write a review for a business but I just want people to know that customer service is important when running a business. Words travel far and people don't have to use your service. There are several businesses out there that have comment sense and willing to accommodate your time not the other way around. I will contact the American Home shield and report this issue, hopefully they'll reassign a better company this time.

I very rarely give out a 1 star review for a business since I know most, if not all, are trying to offer their services to the public as best as they can and in turn make a living. Well, I have to say, I have no second thoughts about giving Action Plumbing 1 star. Why? ... Here's the timeline for my interaction with them: Saturday evening I discover my water heater is leaking - Action Plumbing is the company that installed the heater 4 years earlier so the heater should still be under warranty - I leave a message on Action Plumbing's voicemail about the issue (I know it's the weekend so figure I wouldn't hear anything back 'til Monday morning.) Monday (holiday) I call first thing in the morning and talk to the owner, Charlie. We discuss the heater issue and he asks me to text him a picture of the identification sticker on the heater so he can check on the warranty status...he calls back in a few hours to verify that my heater is still under warranty and needs to check with the plumbing supplier (Fergusson) for a replacement. Unfortunately because of the holiday, they're only open half day so Charlie says he'lll call them on Tuesday. Tuesday mid morning I call Charlie and he says the Waipahu location doesn't have the replacement so he'll need to call the Kalihi location and will get back to me. Tuesday evening I don't hear back and leave a voicemail asking for an update Wednesday evening I don't hear back and leave a voicemail asking for an update Friday mid morning I call and get Charlie on the phone, as soon as I say who I am he immediately says ""OH, I HAVE TO CALL YOU RIGHT BACK!"" and hangs up. I figure that's fine, I'm just glad I finally got in touch with him...but sadly, no return call from him for the rest of the day. Saturday mid morning I don't hear back and leave a voicemail asking for an update. I will admit, the message I left probably sounded a bit harsh because by now I was pretty irritated. It had been a week with no water heater and I now have to wait until Monday to try and get another plumber since Action Plumbing obviously had more important customers to attend to. Well, Monday came around and I wasn't surprised that I hadn't heard a word from Charlie over the weekend. I ended up goind down to Fergusson Plumbing Supply in Waipahu who said they did have the replacement heater in stock and gave me the names of 2 companies to call to install it. One was Air-O-Smith and one was Action Plumbing...guess which one I called...LOL. The heater was replaced later in the week and Martin from Air-O-Smith did a really good job. Action Plumbing has a good overall star rating on Yelp but I do see that their other 1 star reviews say the same thing, they abandon their customers and don't return calls. I guess if you choose to go with them then be aware it's a roll of the dice, and any future support for the jobs they did for you might be met with the same ""you're on your own"" attitude. All I know is I was without a water heater for 9 days longer than I needed to be, all due to Action Plumbing.

two separate people had mentioned action plumbing when i had a potentially bad plumbing issue. everyone on the action plumbing team was super responsive, helpful, friendly, and communicative. denise answered immediately took my information and had charles return my call a few minutes later, then dispatched jason to visit our house within a couple of hours. jason quickly found the issue, and gave us a comprehensive plan that saved us time/money/risk. he had found a corroded part, for which if he attempted to work on it may cause a shutdown of our house water until they could get a replacement part, so he redirected the leak into the tub, and returned with the part the next day. in total it was 30 minutes for the inspection and prep, and 30 minutes for the repair the next day. their rates are reasonable professional hourly rates, plus parts, but the response times, friendly confidence, and expedited completion of the work, make this a strong recommendation from me. after service i was invoiced by mail and was able to pay by credit card over the phone.

I had a new washer and dryer delivered to my house only to find my water valve would not close. I called Charlie of Action Plumbing and despite being very busy, he answered my call and politely asked to call me later in the evening. Later that evening he called back like he said he would and got down all of the information of what he needed to do. The next morning he came to my house right when he said he would and took care of that valve in a matter of minutes. In all of my 17 years of being a home owner, this is the first time I've had to call a plumber, but I know with confidence that I will definitely call Charlie at Action Plumbing for all of my plumbing needs from now on. Very dependable, honest, and just a good guy! Thanks Charlie!! Two Thumbs and 5 Stars way up!!!!
