I should have looked at Yelp prior to contacting this company. I had an electrical issue. The ""electrician"" tried to charge me $10,000 to replace two small electrical panels with 5 breakers each. He told me they were burned up and could start a fire. I was shocked and decided to get a second opinion. It turns out the panels were fine. I had one bad breaker ($15 part) The worst part is even if I did need both panels replaced I found out that it is less then $1500 per panel on the high end. That's right they tried to over charge me 650% for a repair that did not even need to be made. CRIMINAL!! I would participate in a class action suit if any attorney out there is looking for other victims. I paid them $150 to nearly rip me off. Don't walk run from this company.

If you value time do not use Action. action repeatedly shows up late or NOT at all. Monday they installed our new AC unit. they got it running but never finished the install. they promised they would come by 9 am the next day. That was 4 days ago. Every day at the end of the day they call us to say we will be on the next day schedule. Action doesn't value my time and aren't even nice enough to give us a call to let us know what is going on. Their customer service is a bunch of BS. DO NOT USE Action.

Scam artists!!! I fell for the free AC tune up coupon in Hometown Values. They told me I was down 8 pounds of freon and that it would be a minimum of $1600 to fill, or probably better to put that towards a new unit. They eagerly set a salesman up to come out later that day to discuss options. I started to feel uneasy about things because my AC was working great, if I was down 8 pounds, I really don't think it would be cooling. He also did not mention the need to repair a leak, which I would assume was needed had I lost 8 pounds of freon. I called another company for a second opinion and they said everything was perfect. My freon was fine, there were no leaks, and the pressure was perfect. There were no repairs needed at all! These guys saw a single mom that they could take advantage of so that's what they tried to do. I am so glad I listened to my gut! The ""free"" coupon is just a way for them to get in your door and try to sell you things you do not need. They prey on trusting people. When I called to cancel my appointment with the salesman, I told the lady that answered the phone what happened and she did not even bat an eye or apologize. She is clearly used to these kinds of situations. Do not fall for these scam artists! RUN while you can.

I made an appointment to have them come out and give me a quote on a new AC unit. After rushing home from work to meet them, I received a text saying they were running a little late which is fine. They never showed or called. I did receive a call 24 hours later saying they were in the area and could stop by. No thanks... Very poor customer service....

They totally ripped off my elderly sister. Ripped up her bathroom left and didn't return. She paid them in advance?. I hope they feel good about doing that to old people.

Used company to do electrical for basement. Staff is very friendly and knowledgable. Trevor and his team were amazing and involved us in every step. Trying to get licensing number for inspector for approval was ridiculous. I called a week ago and lady never called back. Called again and the lady hung up. Finally when I did get a hold of her the lady in the office wouldn't provide information and said the cities already have that information she wouldn't provide. Every subcontractor we worked provided this information since it should be listed on DOPL lookup. Ended up going through Trevor to get information and he resolved issue immediately. Found out company licensing is listed under another name. Thanks Trevor. Someone needs to speak to the lady in the office and let her know her service and demeanor is seriously horrible and just outright rude.

We spoke with someone at the home show and they said they would come scope our lateral sewer line for free. We had an issue a few months ago, so I liked the idea of a scope. When they came out, the plumber carefully carried his equipment down the stairs and scoped the line. He was nice. He then told us the damage was a complete break of the line and it had settled 2.5 inches. He quoted us $7,100. I mentioned I wanted to get a second opinion and he guaranteed me that I wouldn't find a better deal. They have some of the best prices around. This isn't our first home, nor our first time having issues with the lateral sewer line. So $7,100 seemed like a lot for a little repair and not the whole line. I called my brother in law, who is a licensed contractor, plumber. I asked him about prices and he told us that was super expensive for a little repair. I emailed him a video of the scope and he said the damage is .5 an inch, not 2.5 inches. The Action plumber was telling us some city code stuff that had to be done, and my brother in law informed the plumber that there is no code and he shouldn't be spreading that lie to customers. When we told the plumber we we're going with someone else, he continued for at least 20 more minutes telling us what a mistake that was. Telling us about people who have died and trying to scare us into hiring them. He even went as far as to tell me my brother in law didn't know what he was doing since he doesn't do lateral sewer lines everyday (I don't know exact terminology, but my brother in law has passed tests and he has the highest level of training, licensing, and certifications that a plumber can have in Utah). He finally went and got his equipment and brought it upstairs, hitting the wall multiple times, leaving dents. Im happy he's finally out of my house.
Later, while speaking with my brother in law, he said this is the problem with so many plumbing companies. They have found good plumbers, trained and trained and trained them to be salesman, and then deprived their pay if they didn't make the sale. He's a plumber, not a salesman, but since he didn't make the sale, his pay is suffering. I'm sure he was a good plumber, but they sent him to do a job he shouldn't have to do. He isn't a salesman and his pay shouldn't reflect that. Pay your plumbers to be plumbers and hire salesman to be salesman. It would probably be a step in the right direction for this 1 star company.

CONSUMER BEWARE:
We recently contracted with Action Heating and plumbing and I would strongly advise anyone thinking of doing so to reconsider.
Their sales people were polite, kind and personable but once we signed, our experience was terrible from that point forward.
To make a long and frustrating process, short, a job that was supposed to take 3 days (one for the tankless water heater. 2 for the electrical.) turned into one month, just for the tankless water heater and softener. We were without hot water for 5 days straight. The receptionists were very rude and the sales people were M.I.A. when attempting to remedy the situation. Their work was deplorable and when we attempted to cancel the 2nd part of the job (electrical) do to a lack of confidence and terrible experience, we were threatened with the possibility of a 20% cancelation fee. I had to consult with a lawyer and pay a consultation fee to understand what we are legally obligated to, given the situation and the strength of our position if we needed to move forward legally.
I have a video of what was passed off as competent professional work, that led to the flooding of our wash room and partial basement area.
they drilled a hole in our washer drain tube and stuck the water softener tube inside that. This caused the washer to squirt water everywhere when the running the washer.
To be clear mistakes happen, but the manner in which we were treated during this process was as unacceptable as the work itself, making this THE worst contractor experience we have had.
