Our water heater sprung a leak and we noticed it very late in the day. I called and they were able to squeeze in an appointment for us the following day. They went above and beyond to accommodate me during their busy season by fitting my ten day project in last minute. They also stayed late until 8:30pm to clean up and put everything back in its place. I have been using them for all my properties for years and highly recommend them. I can't recommend this business highly enough (seems weird to gush about a plumber :-) We had a leak at our main water line caused by tree roots 5 inches in diameter pushing against the water line. We had several estimates at double the price Action gave in their free estimate. They gave us a ""not-to-exceed"" price and a bottom price and came in much closer to the lower price.
The job involved lots of manual labor- digging to gain access to the roots and water line- and then cutting out a piece of the root in several places to solve the problem (the root was too large to remove the entire thing). When it proved difficult sawing the root with a Sawzall, James attacked the tree roots with a hatchet and took it down! Once that was finished, they quickly replaced the damaged pipe.

Both James and assistant, Ricky, worked extremely hard and steadily. When they were finished, dirt was replaced, landscape rock replaced and you couldn't even tell they'd been there. All of their employees were friendly, efficient and easy to deal with.

We have an old house built in the 1930s with old Plumbing. When are bathtub drain was clogged and we could not get it snake ourselves. We called on Action Plumbing who responded right away and took care of the problem. we'll be using them again

Although I have had Action Plumbing do work for me in the past, the last time they came with 2 technicians 2 bathroom spouts were installed incorrectly and resulted in leaking under my house for both bathrooms. Fortunately, my electrician found the leaks and another plumber fixed them. Keep an eye on these guys if they work for you.

I've got to say I was very grateful that Action Plumbing was able to come out quite quickly (daylight hours on a weekday) but I was blown away that I was charged almost $500 for $20 in parts and 45 minutes of their time. Why? Because, like an auto repair shop, they have specific fixed costs for every item they touch. I felt gouged but helpless to question it or to complain. The trouble is, when you're in a bind, you're at their mercy. It seems that they could have been more flexible in pricing when they saw how quickly they were able to complete the job.
