Although the guys who came were nice, I had to leave a review based on the experience. They came with a non- working snake, left for an hour. Returned with a working snake and snaked my sink once. Of the 3hrs at my residence, 30 minutes of work was done. The remaining was working to convince me to spend $1300 to hydro jet the line. Thankfully I was handy and purchased a JetSnake drain cleaner from Amazon and hooked it up to my pressure washer and cleaned the drain in less than 30 minutes. If you're handy and want to save $$$, go on YouTube and it'll teach you how to hydro jet your line for few hundred. Not sure why plumbers change so much for something that can be done relatively easy with the proper equipment the first time at a reasonable cost.
The plumber came very quickly. He was super professional & courteous. Knew exactly how to clear our drain problem (main sewer line) quickly. When we were given the estimate it was very high but after speaking further with the manager we settled on a more reasonable price. We were very satisfied with this plumbing company.
Tialena E.I have never been treated with such disrespect & hostility. Upon entering my home the plumber, Jose immediately asks ""who's paying?"". I've usually been asked whether I'll be paying cash/credit/or check. I've never been asked outright who is paying, or whether or not Im alone in the home. I believe Jose, saw a young woman alone in a home & automatically assumed that she could not afford to pay for the service. I stated that the home owner was 15 min away & that he if he felt more comfortable waiting until HE arrived, that I'd have no problem with that. Jose then stated that I needed to ""relax because it wasn't that serious"" and that he needed to ""make sure I could pay before he touched anything."" Upon the arrival of the home owner (my father) ""Joe's"" demeanor & tone of voice changed. He became somewhat respectful & less condescending. The work was completed & when asked how much the total was Jose said that we were ""gonna have to wait cuz you pay with check instead of cash, now I gotta do taxes cuz you no pay with cash."" In the future I'd prefer to use a company that doesn't employ & enable disrespectful & chauvinistic behavior. I called & spoke to the ""owner"" of Action Plumbing & was told that Jose's line of questioning was/is standard operating procedure & the owner blamed my discomfort on Jose's lack of a full grasp of the English language. I will never use this business again & I advise anyone else to do the same. Unless you're a man, then & only then will you be treated with the respect you ""deserve.""
