I have been trying to get my water heater repaired under warranty for over 10 days from tis company. My family is still using cold water to shower. You draw your own conclusion.

Hot water back on as of Friday the 10th. Parts were unavailable for another six weeks. They replaced the entire water heater. Quality of work done to replace the heater was good. once they were able to get the correct replacement, job was completed quickly.

WHY did I not look at Yelp before calling these guys. Just dropped $100 for him to come out but the quote was so high for repairs that I couldn't get them done. $100 down the drain. NO pun intended. :(

Only use these guys if you're doing an undercover, investigative report on bad business practices or terrible customer service. After the work was done, the bill was $150 more than the quote. Upon further inspection, instead of using new parts that were quoted because of the need to ""get up to code"", the worker had reused some of the old parts. His explaination, ""These will work fine... if the guy that gave you the quote hadn't told you about the code you wouldn't have ever asked about it"".

Summary: These guys will work extra hard to earn their terrible reviews... avoid.

I used Action One Plumbing for a plumbing job at my mom's place in Burbank. The guys just patently had no idea what he was doing ~ though he had no problem charging me anyway! Complete waste of my money and time. Eventually had to call another plumber to come in and fix his mess and the original problem too. My advice: Consider another plumber FIRST!

I was rear ended by a driver in an Action One plumbing van while stopped at a red light on Santa Monica Blvd. He then he drive off down an alley.

Only use them if you want a company stupid enough to hire somebody who will hit and run while driving a huge van while a logo of where they work.

Starting to sour on Action One. They replaced a water heater less than a year ago, at considerable expense including some code-required changes, that I was ok with. Fast forward to now, the hot water heater failed due to a $10 part going bad. I was getting the ""good deal"" by not getting charged for the $10 part, but the replacement took over an hour, which means rounded up to 2 hours at $125 an hour. $250 bill for replacing a $10 part that could/should have been less than an hour (and replaced under warranty). On a water heater that they originally installed. I'll leave it to others to decide if that cost-to-service ratio makes sense. I'm not happy about it, and will be looking elsewhere in the future for plumbing/hot water heater servicing.

The plumbing work they did for me last year for 4 times the amount of money quoted to me over the phone, just had to be redone, completely. My new plumber, and good friend said of their work, and I quote ""Did a chimpanzee install this?!""
Just got another of their flyers thrown on my porch like the trash that it is,
It went straight into the recycler...

You never use this company, they are scammer, all the bad reviews were all true. Very unprofessional and all they care is to get your money no matter what. If you hire them you will regret the rest of your life. I still have a bad dreams about this people.

I see a lot of negative reviews on this site. I am very apprehensive about believing anything I read because for all I know these bad reviews were written by bitter competition.

We've used Action One a few times over the last year or so at our business. We have had zero issues. When we have called, they have responded with quick and professional service. They have replaced some guts for two toilets, cleaned out the main line and recently replaced a sink. These are things that, when they went south, we couldn't afford to wait and have our clients be put out. Action One gets here quickly, listens and fixes the issue. When replacing our sink, they even went the extra mile to try and clean up stains that we caused.

Their price and rates are reasonable. The only issue that I have was that when they came out to replace the sink, we didn't get an estimate as to what the replacement item would cost. Of course, I didn't ask either. We will continue using Action One in the future.
