The owner is a little rough around the edges. However, he does get the job done. When I gave action one plumbing a call, I asked the how much is was going to be to get my sink fixed. They gave me a quote, but I followed up by asking, ""Does this included parts and labour?"" Like the type of person I am I negotiated with him and said I will write out a check today with the exact amount we agreed on. That way there will be no surprises.

I have read the bad reviews, however Steve the owner is just a guy who seem to me is straight to the point. Recently Action One Plumbing has been handing out evaluation sheets. Or at least Steve the owner is. If there is nothing I like or was satisfied with he really would like to know. I have him a good rating.

I know I am not a plumber, yet I called Action One because it was a recommended by local people around Burbank. I was actually warned that Steven the owner was too direct and he just want to get to the point. When I called it was was closed to 3:00am. My sink broken and had a weird smell coming out. I did call and Steve did pick up. Told him my situation and came right over. I negotiated with him and got a fair price. While he was working on my sink, he did not want to be disturbed. (Just letting you know what kind of person he is). Later he told me how I can prevent another damage. I am guessing Steve take his job serious. I can put up with his personality, as long as he can get the job done. He did.

I gave him a good review because his service was great. To me that is what matters, not how he wouldn't talk to you while he was working.

It's bad enough that he came early in the morning to help me out. I too wasn't feeling that talkative.

OMG, where is the zero-stars button??? These guys are completely unreliable. You probably won't even get to the part where they rip you off BECAUSE THEY NEVER SHOW UP!!! Two times these people made an appointment, never showed, and only after I called them to ask where they were did I get the apology and excuse. Don't waste your time, go with a professional.

These people are CROOKS! They quoted me $175 to unclog the drain. When Javier arrived with his helper and checked underneath my house he started talking about replacing lines and charging some ridicules amount. After I declined he started demanding the $175 service fee without doing anything. After calling his boss he offered me to try to clean the drain. If he succeeded I had to pay him $200 if not he was going to charge $100 for trying.
Long story short, he tried and didn't open and charged me $100.
After they left, my water heater stopped working, I then discovered that one of them turned off the gas, I can't understand why?
Do not use this company.
I called another company and they did a wonderful job.

They have an ad, with a coupon that says service call, $99.00 and $25.00 off. Called them to replace a Moen faucet cartridge. The faucet leaks, it's guaranteed for life. Called Moen, they sent out cartridge, sent us instructions, and link to see video. Decided to call Action One and assumed that they would do it for the $99.00 and with the $25.00, it would cost $74.00. WRONG!! Plumber comes and says its $145.00!! With the $25.00 coupon, it would be $125.00. It took him 17 minutes to completely install cartridge. The reason it took him that long is that he had to go outside and check the water pressure. That roughly comes out to almost $500.00 an hour. FORGET THEIR 99.00 SERVICE CALL Call PREMIER PLUMBING IN NORTH HOLLYWOOD. I should have waited a day and had them do it.

Overcharging...and not friendly service people,
To avoid it..know their service fee if you didnt have the job done , you will pay hefty price.
Istalling a garbage disposal in my kitchen charge ..&250!!, first he said $350.

After many attempts to fix a clogged drain myself, I called Action One Plumbing (they were referred to me by a local mom's group). The person who answered the phone was friendly and said I would have a plumber between 10 and 1. Well--the time came and went. I called again and they stated that they were really busy but someone would be there. Well--they did show up and fixed my problem in less than 30 minutes. The best part? I got a discount from the referral source but they also gave me $100 off because I had to wait! Thanks Action One! (Burbank).

I had a plumbing emergency on Saturday, I had action one plumbing come to my home. The guy that answered the phone and quoted me the price was very knowledgeable and straightforward no gimmicks or games. The servicemen arrived on time and took care of my emergency, with no Bs. He did not try to change the price on me. I would highly recommend this great company.

I called Steve because my garbage disposal was jammed with little rocks from a fish bowl that broke on me while I was cleaning it.. And he walked me through on how to un-clear it via the phone!!! I can't thank you enough! Now my hubby won't be pissed and now this mama can continue on with her busy toddler! Thanks again Steve!

Called on a Sunday to set up an appointment later in the week,and was told they were free the same day. They were over within an hour or so, completed the work in about 2 hours, including a run to the hardware store for the parts that were needed.

Did a very nice job and even consulted me on the install and changed something that I wasn't crazy about.

I would highly recommend these guys and I would use them again. They were nothing but courteous and friendly, prompt and clean.
