I read all the reviews and I concur. The business is mostly forced on people from warranty companies. They arrived at my home, was there for less than 5 min and told me that the home warranty wouldn't cover my damage. They collected my deductible and did not do anything. I was able to rectify my problem anyway but there is no way I would ever use this company. If I could give no stars I would.
Very Bad Don't use this company, The company was assigned to me through American Home Shield Warranty. Tech Dustin Martin, can out to my house today 03/22/22He didn't know how to address the issue and got mad started cursing me out in my home. When asked to leave he called me all kind of ''N'' WORDS! Please don't use this company. Not professional at all
This guy had a a ton of bad reviews but I thought maybe just those were the complainers. NO this guy is really bad. I am a paralyzed veteran who answered the door in my wheelchair and use oxygen. He came to the door and I ask him if he had a mask and he said ""nope don't wear them"". Even the way he said it showed he has an attitude. You should never call this guy. No respect for his customers at all.
Elle S.This business was assigned to us through a warranty company since the house was bought a few months ago. I'd never heard of this company but I'm grateful they work with the warranty we had. Dustin was so conscientious, so caring and definitely knew what he was doing. This is an old house.. they've been called out here three times and I was relieved to see Dustin each time. I hope Action Mechanical knows what an incredible employee they have in him. Thank you so much. I would highly recommend this business!
This company was assigned to us from Cinch, the guy came out with an iPad in hand, no tools whatsoever, and said well before we con do anything we will need an additional 300.00. He did not even run any water, flush the toilet, or do anything other than ask for more money. He came back 30 minutes later and just walked into our basement area stating he had left an expensive wrench behind. I told him he only had an iPad the whole time he was in my home and he was insistent he left a wrench which the cam footage on our ADT shows was untrue. When he returned for the 300.00 visit he was there less than an hour and said he would need to come back again with a camera. We decided to go with Tiger Plumbing, and we are super glad we did!!
This company sucks. Shoddy and shady work. overcharges for work not covered by home warranty. Admits to using old parts from other jobs to cut down on their costs. Argumentative and crappy customer service. Avoid at all costs.
Leslie S.I hate even giving 1 star to Action Mechanical. The owner, John, is dishonest, and lied to me during scheduling an appointment. I asked him a question, and he said that he just worked in the office, and wasn't able to answer any plumbing questions. Later learned that he is a plumber, and owns the company. He scheduled for a plumber to be at my residence between 2 and 5 pm. His employee arrived st 4:50 pm, which was within the time frame promised. The employee was unable to take a card or check, advising that they only accepted cash or money order. The owner, John, was called, and he said that he has been burned numerous times by people canceling checks, and that he has to pay for card transactions. The owner yelled and complained, was very rude and disrespectful. Yelling at me that after 5 pm, his employee is on overtime. I said that his employee arrived at ten minutes to 5, and did he expect his employee to diagnose and repair the issue in 10 minutes? I was able to pay in cash, and the plumber ran a snake thru the drain, and advised that he ran into, ""spider roots,"" and doesn't have the necessary equipment to finish the repairs. He further advised that I would need to have my basement floor dug up with a jackhammer, to replace pipes under the house. He left without repairing the issue. The next day, I called Roto-rooter, their plumber came out, was professional, respectful, and advised that there were no roots in my pipes, that it was a buildup of sludge from oils, and lint from the washer. He cleaned the drain, and reccomended an enzyme to use monthly to reduce buildup. I believe that this company has absolutely no intention of reparing anything, and is only interested in obtaining the $100.00 copay, then bailing on the customer. I have never been treated so horribly by a service provider. I am appalled that any home warranty company continues to utilize this wretched, shady, company.
The worse company ever. The man set a time when he'll come out showed up and didn't do any work told me he'll come back in 3 days. What was the point of coming out if he wasn't going to fix anything? The company didn't have proper things to even fix anything that day but still wanted me to go without air for another 3 days with a baby. I told my warranty ppl to not ever send this man back to my house.
Jacqui F.Did not do what they were sent to do which was clear a plumbing stoppage. Tried to convince me that sewer line was collapsed and that we needed to scope it and not use water for 2 weeks. Totally wrong! I called another company who cleared the clog for $85. Don't use this company!
Worst company ever. Assigned by Home Warranty. I actually switched Home Warranty companies and requested to never be assigned to them again. They cut a hole in my ceiling and never fixed that or my issue. They were horrible to deal with. Avoid like the plague.
