I called for a slowly draining shower. This happened last year when I opened the house for the season, so maybe the yucky soapy hair ball in the drain firms up when not used for a long period, idk, just my guess. Pleasant well kept young man arrived wearing a uniformed shirt with his name embroidered on it, which gave me the impression that this was a quality company that would care about its level of service. Seemingly I was incorrect. The plumber said the best way to diagnose the problem was to run a camera down the pipe system beginning on the roof. He returned about 10 minutes later showing me a video of an area of the cast iron pipes which he said was sinking and causing water and waste to accumulate. The pipes had obvious corrosion inside and he said an area was collapsed. Frankly I have no way to assess whether that is what I was actually seeing. He recommended I have the entire pipe system ripped out, replaced with PVC set on a concrete block. Est cost $46,000-52,000 dollars, plus replacement of the sod and any plantings that were disturbed. I nearly had a stroke. I come from Wisconsin and New England. I have lived in two homes that were over 100 years old. The plumbing was exposed to salt from the sidewalks and roads in addition to frost heaves and extreme variations in temperature. I never had to replace any pipes in those homes. Clogged drain = plumber comes and snakes out the drain. I asked him to snake out that drain and he said it wouldn't help and left, after giving me a $300 bill for the photo shoot. I bought am $11 shower plunger from Amazon and pulled out a huge amount of gunk (I will spare you the details, but I highly recommend this magical device). I poured a couple of gallons of vinegar down, and a few pans of boiling water. Bought a snake but my arthritic hands cannot manage the trigger. Waiting for my son to finish the job. If anyone has a suggestion as to how to find reliable service that charge reasonable rates and do not try to rip off their customers, please advise.

Thought everything was good with our AC installation but, I guess not. Technician did not finish on Friday and said he had some minor things to do and would be back today, Monday. I have been waiting all day for him. Anyway, went into the garage and find that the unit is hanging, freezing cold air is gushing out into my garage. The inside of my house is 76, the garage is 32. I tried calling Acree five times and finally got someone who scheduled for someone to come out and check it out. Don't know why they can't call the technician to have him finish his job. I begged to talk to a supervisor three times and each person did not come through on that. We paid $13000 on Friday and expect the job to be completed and done correctly. Still waiting for that to happen.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY! Called them out to clear a bathroom sink. They showed up (late), took one look under the sink and determined that to do it right and they needed to get up on the roof with the bigger machine and then run a camera afterwards to see if they cleared the line. No $79 call. Nope, this was going to cost $600. Reluctantly gave him the okay, he got up there and ran his auger down the line, came down and checked the sink and it was draining. Went back up and ran a camera down a different line (afraid he was going to break his camera down the line he snaked?), packed up his auger and came back in to show me the video and check the line before he left. The line was clogged again! This time draining even slower (barely at all) """"I was afraid of that"""" he said. Did he pop back up there and run his auger through again - nope! He instead talked to me about paying them $4K to do a thorough cleanout of the system. So away he goes with $600 in his pocket for 1 1/2 hours on site ($400 per hour!) and they actually made it worse! Just one try down the drain and that is all you get for $600? I went to Lowes next day and spent $30 on an auger to replace my broken one, ran it through twice with a rinse of Dawn and boiling water, and my sink is draining again! I totally felt like I got scammed by these people and don't want other Seniors to get this bait and switch up-sell that doesn't work and just makes the problem worse! THE WORST EXPERIENCE AND BIGGEST WASTE OF MONEY I HAVE EVER HAD WITH ANY CONTRACTOR....BY FAR!

I called in about their $49 a c tune up they advertised. The installer for this new system said my freon was low. The gentleman I talked to, had no idea what I was talking about. So I had to pull up the ad, as he quoted me $59. Not a big deal. He got all of my information, including phone number, address, and email. He then said he would forward all my information to a scheduler. About fifteen minutes later I got a call from someone that said they could send someone out tonight between 5 and 7.. I'm thinking great! Then she asked me how old the unit was, and I said it's was just installed, but i've had it for about a year and a half. She said well because it was installed within the last year. they couldn't work on it.. What a waste of time. I will never call Or recommend them again.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They put the wrong unit in y attic. it's got so much condensation that the heat keeps coming on. they kept saying they were fixing it but I finally got a second opinion and it's totally messed up. poorly sealed ducts, heat was not hooked up (left with the wires just capped!). they are not returning my calls now, will be seeing them in court.

We had a hose frozen on a hose bib. Two of us on it with wrenches and POP! We busted the hose bib right off the house. It was a Saturday morning and we call around and found Acree who was able to come by. I dreaded the emergency call bill but it wasn't bad at all. Our plumber installed an upgraded hose bib with quick release so we have a way to release a stuck hose again in the future. I recommend. Our plumber was really friendly too.

Please do not hire this company and definitely do not sign up for their maintenance plan. They will charge you $19.99 per month and then continually cancel and not show up for your maintenance appointments. This has occurred over and over again and with no apologies - even when I have had to take off of work to be home and they do not come. If and when they actually do show (which usually occurs after having to reschedule multiple times when they cancel) they will tell you that you need a new part that is very costly. If you get a second opinion from an honest company they will tell you that you do not. Again, their maintenance plan is a total scam that they do not honor their commitments to and they are a very dishonest and unreliable company.
