I liken the coupons on their website to a car dealership. Misleading, switch and bait. I had a clogged kitchen drain and the the coupon stated $79. I called, explained my situation and even stated they would have to go up on the roof because my washer was also backing up into the kitchen sink. The Customer Service rep said to me your coupon is good for $79.00. A professional, well groomed and dressed sales/tech arrived early morning. I explained I had this issue years ago and he would have to go up on the roof. This is when I learned my $79 coupon for a """"drain cleaning"""" was not valid. Let me check the price, he stated. I found it odd it took 45 to 60 seconds to """"learn the cost"""" and was told it would be $391.00 !!!!!!! I called a local small plumbing company, told them they will have to go up on the roof and the cost will be $225.00 Certainly, far more realistic than nearly DOUBLE what Acree quoted. So I would recommend you find a small, locally owned plumber where you can get honest work for an honest rate.

Sitting here on a Saturday waiting for technician to arrive In 30 minutes to get a text saying appt canceled. Office people including dispatch says I now have to wait till the week of July 10th. To recap.. wasted a Saturday cause I trusted acree air. Don't do that, they are not trustworthy.

This business scams the elderly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. My father had problems with his ac not cooling his house, called them to come out. Instead of fixing the issue with the unit, they sold him a germicidal system for his unit that he did not need. Charged him $2400 and did not even fix the unit. Actually they told my father he still needed to pay an additional $2000 to have the unit fixed to have it working properly and it would be another week to have the work done. This is a couple in their 70s in Florida. Not to mention, they took his check and didn't even give him an invoice. I had to call and have them email me the invoice to show what the $2400 was for. We were warned by another elderly woman about this company scamming people and we should have listened to her. I have heard from a few people that they have lawsuits with this company for scamming reasons. Beware and stay away! They know they are in the wrong which is why they are scared to talk to me about it! Manager won't even call me back. If they do this to you, please be sure to get your money back. We are having them uninstall all the useless crap they installed. I will leave 1 star reviews on all their platforms if I have to in order to let people know what a shady business this is! Scamming the elderly is such a poor business practice. Getting people to pay you thousands of dollars for things they don't need instead of fixing the problems is not professional by any means! Even my AC guy that I use at my home said this company is notorious for this!!!!!!!!!! My AC guy said some duct work needs to be replaced, Freon charged and the coils need cleaning. That's all it needed. But instead my 70 year old father was charged $2400 for a germicidal unit he didn't need and was told it would be 9 more days until actual issues could be addressed!

On Tuesday, June 13, 2023, Jesse Slone came out to do a 6-month maintenance, and he was FABULOUS. Unfortunately, it turned out to be more than just maintenance. Jesse was professional, courteous, friendly, and very helpful. Jesse went made sure that my husband and I were completely in the """"loop"""" of what he was doing. Jesse answered every question that we had regarding the maintenance. Jesse made sure that we understood thoroughly what he was doing. I will from here on out, request Jesse to come and service our A/C unit. Jennifer and Keith Achuff

CAUTION CAUTION CAUTION!!!!!!!!!!!!! I recently had the misfortune of using Acree Plumbing HVAC repair company to fix a minor problem with my AC drain pipe. The repair was extremely simple and only required cutting a piece of PVC pipe and rejoining it and clearing a pipe with a hose. Despite this, I was charged an outrageous fee of 371$ with a subscription to their maintenance plan for 20$ per month, and if I declined this offer, the price rose to an even more exorbitant 571$. I did not get any upfront pricing and watched most of his repair. It was seriously simple, now I know. I don't mind paying for a service (371$ fine) but I HATE BEING FORCED TO BUY YOUR STUPID YEAR LONG SUBSCRIPTION. I would not recommend this company to anyone. BEWARE

I'm beyond frustrated trying to get a predictable response to my service needs from Acree. At the initial visit I dutifully paid the first half of my service estimate which was """"diagnostic"""" in nature and was told that parts would be required--and they will reschedule when those parts have been obtained. There were two intervening rescheduled appointments (which didn't happen) when finally (unannounced) a different technician arrived to perform the repair and repeated the """"diagnostics"""" (The story was that the initial technician changed roles within the company in the interim and was no longer able to perform the repair). The new tech told me he too would have to acquire parts, and we rescheduled. The most recent notification I received from Acree's dispatch was today (Monday)--45 minutes AFTER the appointed time--and was told that the technician who was scheduled (over 10 days ago) doesn't work on Mondays! I now must reschedule for what is the sixth time for the actual repair work. Although the technicians have been courteous, the customer service/dispatcher is not at all sympathetic or apologetic in her calls. This has been a mistake from the start and at this point I've lost confidence through the repetitive scheduling schemes, delays, and ineptitude of Acree.

We purchased a brand new AC unit for $15,000 and less than a year later it breaks down. Called Acree and was told that would put me on standby if anyone cancelled so they could come today and a short time later we received a text msg stating that they would be at our home by 5. At 6 I called to ask what happened and was told a scheduling error was mad on their end and I would have to wait until tmrw. Lots of """"we understand your frustration"""" and """"we feel bad about the error"""" but you can tell they do not give two sh5t's about us as their customers. I wish I could give less then zero stars. Save the frustration and waste of money on junk and go somewhere else.

They get 2 stars only because they got me scheduled right away. However, when they arrived they were confused with the request to check vent stacks for any holes in pipes. They have a camera they use to scope but said they charged $250 per stack just to run camera down. I said could they just start with checking one stack as that was a lot and we thought we knew which one may be the issue. He was only able to complete 1/2 the scope as a piece of wood was down in pipe so couldn't finish. I asked if could charge any less since they were unable to even complete job and he said no. They make you sign beforehand. So now I'm out $270 I believe in total with nothing fixed. He also said he had never heard in his 30 yrs of doing plumbing of rodents getting in an attic coming up through plumbing even though I had 2 rodent removal companies talk to him over phone to confirm they thought this was issue and that there must be hole in pipes as our exterior of house secure. The next company we called came out, checked all 4 drain stacks. Got in attic and within 20 min. found pipe in attic where T pipe had popped open. They glued back and solved issue. Acree on the other hand did a terrible job of checking anything, he was rushing out to get to another job, didn't complete work and charged me a ton. I would not recommend this company especially for plumbing work.

My AC stopped working, so I called ACREE to get a technician come to my house to assess the problem. About 5 minutes after arriving the technician said that repairs to fix my current system would cost ~$2,000, but was very insistent that I buy a whole new system estimated between $10K and $11K (I live in a 750 sf condo by the way). The technician was very pushy and rude, was clearly trying to take advantage of a first time home buyer. After I was finally able to get the guy out of my house, I called another AC repair company, and they were able to repair my system for 1/4th of the cost. Also got quotes from three other companies for a system replacement that were around 2/3rds the cost of ACREE's. I would not recommend working with them.

Long story short, my plumbing issue was tough. In a tight spot and the first tech that cam said he would have to do thousands of dollars in damage to access. Second tech (Taylor hammel) came up with a different way to get around issue. New tech that came out was on time, efficient, and fixed everything. Company was not the cheapest, but they did exactly what they said they would. Paying a couple percent more to ensure its done right is a plus for me. I will use them again if ever needed.
