This review is honest. I'm not one to sling mud. I had an air conditioner unit that would not cool. I called on a Saturday morning. Got scheduled for 11 to 1 pm on Sunday. No extra service charge. Good to go. 79.00 plus a coupon on line for 49.00. Tech came unannounced and no notification of time of arrival as told would happen. No big deal I wasn't going anywhere. Tech was nice. Pleasant. But here is the issues. This company wants to upsell and over charge. Period end of story. First suspected issue was an AC switch board. New one is 600 dollars. Nope my son said try again ..board is good. Next a.c. compressor..capasitor and contact switch all checked. Tech says bad compressor. About 3K. But how about a new system for 9K ( to start). I declined. Paid my fee of 29 bucks. I called a recommended handy man Monday afternoon...3pm. He arrived by 515 pm. Looked at bottom of the compressor to find culprit. ( one bad wire). Replaced n repaired it. Checked thermostat...gave advice about cooling settings and vents. 100 dollars. End of story. At 640pm my home is cooling down. Thank you Acree for nothing ..except a great price for a diagnostic """"look """" plus sell tactics used on me. Now I know your game. Upsell and encourage membership into a prefferd customer club and financing that keeps you in the black. Yelpers beware. Ask me for handy man info. I'll be glad to give an honest man business.

I have had 3 service calls in the past 9 days and have had two accidents happen, which cause 2 of the three visits. Seems like the only thing they do it try and sell additional services. I'm very disappointed and will becancelling my service agreement.

These people are big scam artists. DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR $59 maintenance fee. They don't do anything. Not to mention, they tell you that you need a new A/C unit when you DON'T. The maintenance guy is probably a salesman. And he will sell you freon for a ridiculous price. 410A Freon should run $65-$80 per pound. They charge more than twice that amount. Avoid them!

Did not show up for appointment. I called to check status. Was told appointment had to be rescheduled for the next day with discount. The next day they did not call or show up for rescheduled appointment.

Agree plumbing, air & electric was a huge mistake. I deeply regret using them. This is the first time I've used a yelp review but hopefully it will help some other poor sucker that may have the misfortune of calling them. They put in a new system that broke four times within the year. Then I was told I had black mold that required duct cleaning and a light to keep it from returning to the tune of more than 4 thousand dollars ( after the discount they were giving me. ) Once again I sit in the heavy heat and wait for my next bill for a problem that will happen again the minute their technician leaves the driveway. My house is 900 square feet. This is just ridiculous.

Very unprofessional company. I am shocked they have been in business over 40 years. they do this great ad on the radio for this great special. I had an appointment last Saturday. They called me that morning and cancelled due to an emergency. They asked if I could reschedule and they would do it for $29. I said sure, even though my AC isn't working great I, I could put it off another week. She asked when would be good, I said can we do next Saturday same time frame. She said no problem and thanked me. Well Saturday came, I was told I would get an email confirmation prior to the tech coming. I waited and waited. Let me also say that I work M-F 50-55 hours a week. My weekends mean the world to me, but this is something we need done. Still waiting the 1-3 window has passed, no email, no nothing. I call at 3:30 and was told that I am scheduled for July 25. I made my appointment for last Saturday for a reason and when you call me to cancel and ask me to reschedule why in God's name would I want to wait a month. You guys completely ruined my Saturday, it is an absolute joke to treat people this way and you should be ashamed of yourselves. I did have a different company come out last night and took great care of me. In my opinion Acree is a horrible company and you should think twice before using them.

Worse company EVER! I will be pursuing a lawsuit against them because of their negligence and the fact that they have NO idea what they are doing. Please be aware and never use this company. The fact that you can't get a manager on the phone is telling. They have absolutely no customer service skills and sincerely do not care about anything they do. All they want is money. I can't go into specifics because of the case but I just want people to be aware and for the love of god, choose a different company!!!

Horrible. Nothing else to say. Paid 12 grand to replace full system and still I'm with no air 3 out of the last 10 nights and despite them coming out and screwing up the repair twice I still have to wait over 30 hours in august for them the come out and fiix their own shoddy work. I guess this is how t hey treat customers under warranty. Stay away from this bunch. Why can't you give zero stars.

Justin Bowman was very professional, courteous, and informative during the diagnostic visit. Replacing an entire unit is expensive and he made sure to exhaust every option to coordinate a fair price. My unit was installed ASAP and works beautifully. However, the installers decided it would be a great idea to drag my old outside unit THROUGH my home for easier access to their truck. In the process, my screen door was ripped open and my wood floors scuffed. The installers were very apologetic and immediately stated the damage would be taken care of. The service manager I reported the issue to also assured me everything would be handled and it was. I appreciate the willingness and quick action to repair, but maybe a protocol refresher when transporting large items is a good idea. I'll most likely use Acree again for tune-ups.

I'm beyond frustrated trying to get a predictable response to my service needs from Acree. At the initial visit I dutifully paid the first half of my service estimate which was """"diagnostic"""" in nature and was told that parts would be required--and they will reschedule when those parts have been obtained. There were two intervening rescheduled appointments (which didn't happen) when finally (unannounced) a different technician arrived to perform the repair and repeated the """"diagnostics"""" (The story was that the initial technician changed roles within the company in the interim and was no longer able to perform the repair). The new tech told me he too would have to acquire parts, and we rescheduled. The most recent notification I received from Acree's dispatch was today (Monday)--45 minutes AFTER the appointed time--and was told that the technician who was scheduled (over 10 days ago) doesn't work on Mondays! I now must reschedule for what is the sixth time for the actual repair work. Although the technicians have been courteous, the customer service/dispatcher is not at all sympathetic or apologetic in her calls. This has been a mistake from the start and at this point I've lost confidence through the repetitive scheduling schemes, delays, and ineptitude of Acree.
