Second time they've come out to our home. First time saved us a bundle on a new water heater b/c Stanley was able to fix the top and bottom thermostats on the existing one. Second time was yesterday and Stanley came out again to install a new kitchen faucet and garbage disposal. Found some leaks/problems during the repair and explained the proposed fixes and extra costs before he made the add'l repairs. He cleaned up everything afterward and was very professional. Will definitely use Acme again.
Monique L.I've used them to fix a drop in a sink. Quick and reliable at a reasonable price. Called in the morning and he was here by mid afternoon. Will definitely use them again.
Unprofessional and Unresponsive. Plumber came out for free estimate. Explained everything well. He told me he would be here at ""8:00 am ..8:30 at the latest"" today because I was his first stop of the day. At 9:05 am I called the office 4 times. No one answered. I left a voicemail. 10 minutes later I get a call from the plumber saying "" I am on a call and will be there as soon as I am done."" I told him not to bother. No one at the office ever called me back. Extremely unprofessional company that does not value their customers' time.
We bought a kitchen faucet as well as a bathroom faucet and Acme installed them. We were pleased with their work.
I had a leak in my house. I called a plumber down the street from my house and they wanted $6,000.00 to replace the water pipes in my house. I called Acme because my neighbor used them and was happy and he thought I needed a second opinion. The plumber came out and fixed the leak for $106.97. I have not had any problems since. I recommend these people to anyone.
Kelly O.I genuinely could not be more happy with them. My water heater (GE p.o.s., second one in less than 5 years) sprung a leak on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. I couldn't get anyone to call me back, and when I did speak to someone, they couldn't do all the work I needed done. Tuesday when I went to work, a colleague recommended them. She's used them since the '90s and has always been happy with their work. I'm so glad she suggested them. Although they were busy, the person I talked to was really nice and talked me through what I needed to do -- like draining the tank and clearing a path to the door -- to get them in and out as quickly as possible, which saved me money.
Adding to the cluster-eff, I had to have someone who could disconnect the heater, take me to Home Depot to return it, and help me take the new one back and install it. They did all that, and they took their lunch break while I handled the return so I wouldn't get charged for their time while I languished in line. The plumber who did the work even helped me pick out a new heater and let me know exactly which one I needed and why.
I've used ACME plumbing a couple times now and found that they are honest and trustworthy. They were not expensive and did not try to overcharge for work not needed. I will continue to use them as my Plumber of choice.
Theresa C.ACME was rated high in the Washington Checkbook so we called them. They did a very good job and were very reasonable.
Dont even think about it.
I'm not sure which is the greatest strike. They were very expensive. They left a mess (no kidding, cleaned their tools onto my floor). Did half the job. Required me to miss another day of work when I had to call them back.
