EXPENSIVE-After showing up over an hour late with no call-ahead, he just tighten a nut. The technician was competent and polite, but the charge seemed excessive. Unable to take a credit card, I had to provide a check. He also could not provide a receipt.

Horrible experience. They are rude and insulting. We were using a warranty service and they did not attempt to repair they stated improperly installed even though it was in place for 11 years so the warranty did not cover and when questioned they asked for credit card up front for repair. Use another service is my advice.

Not reliable: Robert who I assume is the owner came out to address an issue in our new home. I was told by the builder that Acme did the plumbing on the build. He checked a few things and felt it was a bad mixing valve but could not determine where the valve was located. Having little to no hot water my wife and I went back to our main home in Texas but left a key with him. He had prior commitments and would not be able to return till the following week. I came back out to meet with him but he has disappeared into thin air, will not return my calls or the builders calls. The bad part is he has a key to my home now. I suspect he knows there is a much larger problem with the plumbing and is simply trying to avoid it.

This company was a referral from my home warranty company and although they worked hard to make a repair to my gas leak they left my garage a complete mess. I had to clean up all of the mess that they left from the 3 to 4 holes that they put in my garage ceiling. I called my home warranty company to inquire about the repair of the holes and they contacted ACME and the response was that they had documented that no holes were made at the time of the attempted repair. This of course was a flat out lie. So they said they were not going to repair the holes they had left. I signed the receipt so I had no leg to stand on. I just wanted to let anyone who is considering this company to be aware of how they got of performing the repairs on my home. Even though my home warranty company used them I will not use their services again.

I had a leak under my kitchen sink and requested service. The plumber advised that I replace two valves in addition to the one I called about, and I took that advice. Two days later I checked under the kitchen sink and there was a leak from one of the valves that the plumber recommended be replaced. I called Acme about this and the same plumber came to do the repair. Later that day there was, again, a leak from the same area under the kitchen sink. I was told that it would be over 3 hours before the same individual who came out the first two times would be able to come out again. When I told the office manager that I wanted another person to do the work I was told that would void the warrantee and I would be charged for both the visit/labor and parts to (try) and repair the problem.

Larry from Acme Plumbing came out today to do a bathroom install after I had my flooring redone. He was fantastic! He was quick, competent, good with my pets, personable, and he cleaned up after himself and left my bathrooms in great shape -- what more can you ask? I'll definitely be calling Acme again with any plumbing needs or problems.

Our experience with Acme has always been totally acceptable. The lady I spoke with at the office to arrange a visit was perfectly pleasant and gave me a non emergency appointment for 2 days later. The plumber arrived exactly on time. Repaired a toilet and a faucet in the kitchen with replacement parts in a very short period of time with a reasonable charge. No issues whatsoever. I would definitely recommend Acme.

Old Republic Warranty company sent Acme to repair a leaking shower: The Acme employee, a very filthy man, arrived 2.5 hours late...; shortly after arriving the man used my toilet to defecate; after accessing the plumbing situation, he called the warranty company with an inflated work order that included all showers and sinks in my home. The warranty company denied the work order because the scope of the project included only the master shower. I am guessing the work order was inflated to try and scam the Warranty company. The warranty company is now sending another plumber. Do yourself a favor and use someone else.

Impressive Customer Service! Today is a Friday and our entire Klean Wash Laundry Service had to be shut down for a plumbing issue the Gas company discovered. We thought; no problem, we'll just call a Plumber. We called the Plumber we normally use and they couldn't come, then we called every Plumber in the book and the soonest anyone could be out here would be Monday! Which would keep our business shut down the rest of Friday and the entire weekend. Acme Plumbing came to our rescue. We can't say enough about Acme Plumbing and it will be the only Plumber we will recommend or use!

two weeks ago your employee broke the toilet in our hallway bathroom downstairs.. That toilet was functioning properly until he touched it The young guy said he would come back to fix it... on the following Monday -That was two weeks ago. Your employee never returned to correct his error and when I called to have this job completed after two weeks of no return I was told to pay an invoice before they could send him back to fix his mistake!!! So after payment was received I called back to get this issue corrected only for your employee to tell us we have to wait another week Why!! We are on the same street as your business --Are you kidding me, this is a joke and I'm not laughing! Would you like your home to smell like sewage for an entire month? I seriously doubt it and for these reasons I do not recommend ACME plumbing company in destin because they are unreliable unprofessional. And corrupt at this point since they can't even keep their word. No integrity. How very frustrating and infuriating. I feel ripped off & you're telling us we have to wait another week !How very unprofessional.We're on the same street as you guys . This company is a joke. Use any other company but this one.
