BEWARE OF being Robbed by Acknowledged Plumbing
We had a leak in our plumbing.
We called Acknowledge Plumbing.
Plumber arrived one hour later driving a van simply carrying a tool bag.
After the plumber assessed the problem as ""a leak of some kind"" behind the wall an estimate
of $3200.00 was given.
The estimate was based on ??? Company policy perhaps? Simply an indication that the
plumber ""didn't know the exact extent"" of the damage. Within the parameters of (parts/time/
cost etc. unknown) an estimate was being given.
The repair lasted 4 1/2 hours total: including time spent retrieving parts needed to and from
Auburn 28 miles away at Home Depot.
Returning with parts needed, PVC, elbow fitting, and a coupling the plumber removed the
sheetrock, insulation and sink then repaired a crack in the brass elbow fitting.
Our out of pocket cost is the $3200.00. for a 4 1/2 hour job which equals approximately $700.00.
Do a mental break down for the cost of supplies, plus gas, plus labor. It just doesn't add up to
the price we were charged.
This review is written as a humble and honest review out of courtesy to all potential customers
who are in need of assistance in their hour of plumbing needs!!
While we do not have anything but respect and appreciation for the plumber who answered the
call and arrived to fix the leak. The company itself will do us all a huge favor and service to
change their name accurately depict who they truly are from Acknowledge to
HACKNOWLEGE/LAC-KNOWLEDGE Plumbing!!
Don't make the same mistake as we did!!!
Do not assume flat rate plumbing estimates are negotiable!!
We will openly honor hourly rates with cost for labor, and parts listed

Acknowledge come to the property in a timely manner. BUT... the service was straight forward. Not an emergency call and the charges were OUTRAGES! Twice as much as the average.

Extremely responsive and arrived about 30 minutes after I called. I had a sprinkler system failure and needed a dielectric union installed (fixing the poor job a previous plumber had done). Felix was great. He knew exactly what to do, did it quickly and efficiently, with good humor, despite the 100 degree temps. Everything seems to be working great and the best part is he got my water turned back on the same day! The price seemed reasonable. I'll use them again and recommend you do too.

Plumbing is a profession you wish you had a family member to trust, so thankful to have found these guys. They responded and came out same day. Embarrassingly, the issue we thought was in the wall and major, turned out to be a simple loose fitting. A job they could have made much larger, their honesty cost us a minimal service call. Would use them again in a heartbeat.

I needed a small mini hot water tank and kitchen faucet installed and I called Acknowledge as I had not been happy with past plumbers. They were quick to put me on their schedule and gave me a quote. Jordan fixed this irrigation MESS once...it was a tree root that broke a pipe. We depend on water a LOT for our ranchette!!! Anyway, Jordan came back (starting leaking again due to root) and figured out what was going on and rerouting a pipe fixed it. Then, he did it with NO CHARGE!!! Great guy, dependable, honest and stands in back of his work. Would use him again in a heartbeat! He SAVED us in a timely manner too! Can't thank him enough...saved our lawn which is over an acre!

We had an urgent need for help with our water heater on a holiday weekend (is was leaking and needed to be replaced). We were not optimistic that we would get anyone to answer a call, let alone make availability for a service call. Not only did Acknowledge Plumbing pick up the phone, but Savina was stellar in finding us a tech for the same day, and provided updates on her progress in near real time - this is highly unusual these days. Felix connected with us, discussed options for a new unit, procured it and arrived the same day. He was a pleasure to have so the work and got the whole project turned around that afternoon.
