The hot water in my parent's upstairs master bathroom gradually stopped working-or so I thought. Mike at Ace's Rooter & Plumbing was honest enough to tell me that the hot water was working just fine. The only issue was that my dad (who had Alzheimer's) installed the knobs ""the other way around"". Mike switched the knobs back to their proper place free of charge!

Now the plumber that I called before Ace's told me over the phone that the hot water not working was from a multitude of issues and said that the job would be $500. I asked how he knew it would be this much without even seeing what was behind the shower plate and he said he didn't have to see what was behind it because he has been ""doing this for 28 years"" and that he could tell by just looking at the plate. Bull. Well maybe he needs to do it for another 28.

I know this is a novel length of a review, but it just feels good to not be ripped off and taken advantage of when I could've easily been since I have very little plumbing knowledge. I just wanted to put it out there that Ace's Rooter & Plumbing live up to their name. Call them, have no doubt!

I needed my water heater replaced immediately. Called up Mike and he was at my home within an hour. He wore a face covering during the entire time he was in my home. Fast and very friendly service. Found this place through Yelp reviews, looking for someone near Azusa to fix a clogged dishwasher which was leaking through air gap to sink. Was debating waiting for the home warranty plumber or finding my own. (Another company quoted me an outrageous price to replace the whole air gap and pipes)
The initial call with Mike, scheduling, and work done merits the great 5* reviews on Yelp. Mike got the problem right away, gave me a great price, and said he could be over within the hour. He showed me where the problem was, explained what he did, and how to maintain in future. With his almost 30 years experience, and his friendly and professional nature, will reach out next time I need a plumber.

I was concerned that a cleaning rag that was inadvertently dumped into the toilet with a bucket of dirty water and flushed was stuck in the pipe. I have had issues in the past with leaky pipes and toilets, and was afraid to flush or use the plunger, so I thought it best to contact an expert. Initially, another plumber who I had used before said they would come out. But, they were a no-show, so I turned to Yelp to find another plumber fast. Ace's reviews are outstanding which is why I called (so glad I did)! You (Mike) flushed the toilet a few times with no issues. You even said everything seemed fine so there would be no charge! Wow... how often do you hear that? Anyway, my experience with indoor plumbing is not good, so I expressed my ""what ifs"" to you. You suggested using a camera to take a look to ensure there were no obstructions. Even though there was a charge, I felt it was reasonable considering I called and you showed up within a few hours. The camera view was pretty cool and it was very reassuring to know that my old-looking pipes are okay!

Thanks so much for taking the time out of your busy schedule to accommodate my service request. Ace's Rooting and Plumbing will be my ""go-to"" for plumbing!

I had a leaking water pipe inside a condo by the laundry area, and after another plumbing technician failed to show up for the appointment, Mike came to the rescue.

It was already close to 6:00 pm, and didn't think I could have someone do the repair before the day was over, but Mike showed up within the hour after leaving another job, and took care of everything.

He's great at communicating. Can't stress how important this is. Half the businesses on here don't answer their phone calls. It's as if they're not interested in your business. Thanks Mike!
