Recommended Customer Reviews
I have used Ace Solves It All several times now. They've done electrical as well as plumbing work. They always respond very promptly and the technicians are very friendly and provide excellent customer service. I will use them again when needed.
Dave A.Courteous techs but they are really opportunist, taking advantage of your situation and trying to get everything they can get. They got 59.99 out of me and that's it. That was enough. When they told me a part to start with on my ac was $685, I asked why so expensive? The answer I got was """"well it's coming from the factory (Trane)"""" . Then they said my compressor could be bad and so on. Sent them on their way. Come to find out, my ac has a 10 year warranty from Trane and the parts that they said I needed to pay for right then and there were actually free. They sent a tech to my house took care of everything. Tech fee $325, nothing wrong with my compressor, thermostat or motherboard. Only a switch that Trane sells online for $122 and not $685 oh and Ace solves it all's techs $295 each!!! I'd give them no stars but it's the only way I can write on here.
Repiping 1691 sq feet one story house quote me over $10000 for repipe and fix the dry wall but no paint.,it was way too pricey so they said without the dry wall will be $6400 ,maybe they will do better job so I still use this company ,they did finish the job in 5 hours as promised, few problems need to come back and fixed it .I hired another dry wall company to fix the dry wall and they told me they can't fix the bath tub because they are not supposed to cut open the tub like that ,also the wall next to tub was damaged.
Jim M.Call to see if they had the tools and ability to find my sewer clean out on the outside of my house. Called and talked to Rob I believe his name was. I asked if they could find the clean out and how much that would cost. He responded with we can do a whole home inspection and they WILL find it then. I said I didn't need a full home inspection because we had only bought the house 1.5 years ago and am already handy. He said yes the inspection will find it and sense the tech is already there you might as well do the whole house to see if you may have missed something. He said it would be $57. When the tech got here was super friendly and attentive. After explaining to the tech that I really just needed to find the sewer clean out and didn't need to do a whole hose but if he did find something then it was a good catch. He said np... Here is where the bad reviews starts. After not being able to visually find the clean out. He made a call to the sewer side of the company. He said give me a few min and returned to the can... after about 20min he came back and said that there is some services package I could buy.. to find the drain was going to be $870..... I was floored by the fact that anything I had said before was not listened to. Nor was I given the level of service promised. I did pay the $57 but will never use ace again.
Very disappointed we have the VIP membership which is $25.00 per month which includes 2 a/c tune ups per year. The past one we had done was a few months ago they said they' replaced the air filter and the a/c unit was great the house is only 1 year and 3 months old. We had a plumbing problem and they charged $1,100 for after hours emergency service. They suggested a water treatment system which would have been over $5,000. We just had them out to clean out the dryer vent it's goes out through the attic. The tech also checked the ac and said that there was no filter in the unit and said it was dirty. Also suggested to have the air handler to be clean for $1,800. Also said it would be $255 to clean the dryer vent on the roof. It seems that every time they come out they suggests more things to be done. We will be canceling our VIP membership.
Ace solves NOTHING at all... there i fixed it for you. Im a woman that lives alone and doesn't know much about leaks, plumbing, etc. They took full advantage of me for a total of $2900. I think it's disgusting to treat anyone this way and all 3 techs I saw from Ace were all the same. I called in 11/2019 because I had a leak in my bathroom. The problem didn't present itself, nor did they do a full inspection. Instead I was told the water heater was my issue. I was told it was bc my shower curtains didn't come together. I told the gentleman that it was too much water and he stated """"I'm not asking you, I'm telling you."""" Not thinking at the moment I was like maybe he's right, I don't know. Bought a $2000 water heater, 2 months later the bathroom was leaking again. Called them back, one guy states """"the house is clogged"""" with absolutely no research of the problem but we have to jet the house through the roof. Third guy comes the next day, we can't jet through the roof. So I told him what the 2nd guy said....oh yeah we can jet through the roof. An additional $900. Apparently they did the jetting although after Roto Rotter came they said the jetting hadn't been done. Called back in February, leaking again, came out to the house finally looked around more and stated part of the sewer line needed to be replaced for $5000-$8000. I said you can go now. Not to mention my floors were not damaged in November but they are now. Called the service manager John a couple times with no return phone call but when my cousin called, a man, he called him back. Called Roto Rooter the same day they came with a camera, snaked the toilet and replaced the pipe for a total of $3,100. Ace would have in total charged me $8,000 - $11,000 total. Save yourself time and frustration they were useless.
Heather W.ABSOLUTELY INFURIATING. When my regular electrician flaked on me at the last minute on a chandelier installation- after both my husband and myself took the day off - I scrambled to find an electrician. This company initially said they couldn't do it today and asked if I would like an appointment. I said no, I will keep looking for someone the receptionist said to hold - and came back and said they could do it today - that they would squeeze me in. Great! I took the appointment and waited. And waited. And waited. They assured me they would keep me updated. They never updated me unless I asked via their text system. In short, this company STRUNG ME ALONG and wasted my ENTIRE DAY to try to schedule for tomorrow. That's very inconsiderate and very dishonest. I could have at least spent the day doing something fun with my kids but no, they decided to string me along and waste my time. And to think I was considering buying their home inspection plan. I'm glad they showed me their lack of reliability before I made that mistake. Don't use this company. Ever. I sure won't even attempt again.
I requested electrical assessment to a inoperable GFCI OUTLET at my house, and after given an appointment, the technician didn't show.
Absolutely awful company. Scheduled windows mean nothing to them I had an """"appointment"""" for 5-6 and got calls at 9:30 and 12:30 saying the technician was on his way and when I reminded them that I was at work, they said okay. Then I get a call at 6:30 saying that they weren't gonna make it. And that they put my name on for tomorrow I called a little later and found out I had not been put on the schedule tomorrow. Eventually I get a call from someone saying they had been on vacation and they said that the technicians were supposed to call every two hours, then listed the 7 times they called me none of which were 2 hours apart. And when I pointed out this error to him his response was """"I'm going to cancel your appointment tomorrow, we are not the technicians for you""""
Justin M.$1906 for two techs, two hours total. Yes, that's $476.50 per hour. Ridiculously overcharged us for what we got! Two plumbing technicians came to rough in set our new tub. 2 bags of drypack, level and set. They also tweaked the new valve to make sure it was installed properly. They knew that we needed to have this done so that our bathroom remodel could proceed and they """"raped"""" us on price. I was out of town. Inspector was coming the next day. Felt taken advantage of Felt beaten Felt like we had no other choice to move the project forward. Am disgusted about what they did to us Charlie Depari is a good guy, but no $30-$35 per hour techs, loaded down with tools and a truck cost $1906 per day to run. $457.50 per hour! Per tech!
