I give ACE the highest recommendation. I had another plumber come over this morning and give me a quote for replacing my water heater in my garage. It was over $3200 which seemed excessively expensive to me. A little negotiation and he got it down to $2800 which still seemed awfully high. So I told him I have to call another company for another bid. It's awfully high to me and told him if he would lower it to 2000 I would consider it. He called his boss and got it down to 2200. So I said no thank you I'll call you back if the other companies are not better . I call Ace and over the phone. They give me a firm price of $1500 to install and replace my water heater. The truck got to my house an hour or two later and within one hour he installed a new water heater and we were on the road. Let's see $1500 versus $3200. Are we kidding? I didn't know that having plumbing done was like buying a used car. I told the ACE technician what the other company wanted to charge me and his jaw hit the floor and he couldn't believe it. Five stars for Ace they're my company from now on.

Rob was sent to my condo after I've had several plumbers before who couldnt figure it out, but Rob from Hermitage Ace Plumbing fixed it and I'm so relieved it wont leak methane gas back into my home. This plumber ROCKS! He did such a fantastic job, very intelligent about all the venting and pipe structure I will definitely call ACE again if needing a plumber. Cost wasnt as much as i thought it would be either. Thanks so much Rob

I rarely post a negative review, but in this case it is warranted.
I only gave one star because they showed up on time, and the service man was pleasant.
It was not until I got the invoice that a positive experience turned into a disgusting experience.
Lots of hidden fees that were not disclosed when I booked the service call.
For example:
A 5% fee for using a credit card!
A $30 ""travel time"" charge!
A $10 ""truck fee"" what the heck is that?
These people, who took over the reputable business of D and S plumbing, should be avoided . I will advise the Friendship Club in our Del Webb community at Lake Providence to advise the 1,100 homeowners accordingly.
What a horrible and unpleasant experience this was.
Should have gone with Arvin's Plumbing. I will in the future.

They couldn't have been better, more professional, or nicer!
In the past 3 years had a two other plumbers (H and RR) do work on our remodel and were disappointed with their lack of professionalism, knowledge, and honesty. Ace had previously installed a new-style hammer arrestor (from Amazon) and were very good, honest, and fairly priced. This time it involved cutting into the basement floor (Ace recommended True Line who were real pros and also fairly priced) and replacing a drain pipe. Donovan also did a thorough job of cleaning the lines all the way to the septic tank and added an access port. All previous issues were totally cleared up! Mike, the owner, even came out for a few minutes (to ""bring some pipe"" ) and helped allay our concerns. We want everything in tip top shape when we sell this lake house! I got to save $$$ by doing the simple work myself.

Geoff did a very thorough and efficient job installing a faucet, clearing the drains, etc.. He was very personable and knowledgeable, making sure we understood what was wrong, and what he was doing to fix it. We've been long-time customers, and will continue to be ..We highly recommend Ace Plumbing!

BE CAREFUL!! They said they ""will take care"" of work they have done, but will not honor their word. They charged me again to take care of a problem that arose with the work they had done. Better than Hiller, but disappointed.

My dad needed a faucet replaced, and a charming fellow named Shalako showed up at the door. The very first thing he said was, ""Did you know you have large wasp's nest forming on your front porch? If you have wasp killer, I'll take care of it for you!"". Well, we had had no idea it was there, & his help in that regard was fantastic!

He then proceeded to repair the guest room faucet & replace the hardware we had purchased, all of which is now working beautifully.

THEN he popped upstairs & replaced the flapper in the upstairs bathroom toilet, which had coincidentally just this morning had its rubber disintegrate to the point of the chain having no place to hook into!

The entire experience was a pleasure. He's friendly, helpful, amusing, and pleasant to have around. We will absolutely call Ace in the future & specifically request Shalako, because he's eminently capable AND nice to work with!

Outstanding!

Pat the representative was friendly and did a great job. I had a problem with my upstairs toilet. It was a relatively quick fix. Since he charges by the hour, he went the extra mile and asked if there was anything else he could help with. He helped me with a minor problem with my shower and a small leak downstairs. He did not have to do that, so I greatly appreciate it.

I will definitely call ACE again for my plumbing issues.
