Good service and price for hot water heater replacement - upgrade from tank to tankless (Navien). Both calls that I made were late evening and were returned promptly the next morning. Karen was able to get Mark out to us within 30 minutes to look at our hot water heater and do an estimate for replacement. They were busy and booked out for a whole week for the install but ended up having an opening and got us in sooner than expected. We paid two thirds the cost of what another local plumber had quoted us for
a very similar setup. Very pleased.

Have a on demand hot water heater made by Bosch. The first Bosch had an issue so I contacted Bosch directly and they referred me to Ace Plumbing as they were the nearest repair facility for the Bosch on demand. Bosch supplied the new heater under warranty and Ace came with his wife and installed the heater which was not a big deal as we could have done it but the warranty had to have a licensed plumber approved by Bosch do it. Well I have been having trouble again and it may very well be the brand of heater but Ace plumbing was called out and it took a few try's to get the owner to travel over an hour to get here. I was of course charged for travel time. When Mr. Nance showed up he could not figure out the system with out me supplying the manual. He fiddled around did a couple of things including a vinegar flush. I was told the vinegar flush was needed and should go for 1 hour. Mr. Nance obviously did not want to sit here for an hour and said he flushed for 45 min. The flush was only 35 minutes as I watched the clock. I got the bill that charged me for 2 hours + and 1 of those hours was for the flush and was vinegar $10.00! The system is worse than ever and Ace plumbing should have said we do not know how to work on these and refused the job honestly. Instead his wife booked the job and Mr. Nance came out and just said they were not any good and he does not work on them any more??????? Took my money and ran to the bank and I am dismayed at how a contractor could take the job and not know what the heck was going on. Never will I recommend Ace plumbing as they could have just been honest and said no.

Mark Nance of Ace Plumbing has performed a variety of repairs at my home, including leaking pipes of radiant heat system, leaking water pressure pump, and a repair of water heater that was being caused by mineral deposits on a pressure sensor. Mark is smart and talented and figures things out. He has been very reliable and punctual for me. I highly recommend.

This is a family owned business and today I had to match ER ENERGY and ACE PLUMBING and guess what ACE PLUMBING won!! They are great and pleasant and I received my Propane heater 'Rinnai' we saved more here than we would have at ER energy and ACE simply loved what they do we can tell I'll recommend them first to everyone

Thanks Mike and Wife

Have used Mark for several years on new build and repair projects. Residential, commercial, and even industrial. Have always found him to be very hard working and knowledgeable. His wife is also a great asset, not sure why others seem to mention in a negative way a small business who involves their spouse? That is what small business is about for many.

OK first off these people are strange. He will show up with his wife. I don't know anyone who brings their wife with them to work. Another they are prejudice against people who grow their own medicine In fact they where dumb enough to sit there and insult me in my house not nowing I am a farmer. Third I jsut bought property and I am going through everything fixing what needed to be brought back to par. We I was asking them if they would give me an estimate on replumbing the entire house and they never got back to me. My wife called them todat and pretty much these people don't wanna work at all. She basicly told my wife that our house was a piece of $hit!!! Well now I know my house isn't perfect but I wanted the plumbing re done so that it is not a piece of $hit. These people jsut don't wanna work and are very rude. I would look for someone else before calling them.

Waited for weeks to get an estimate. When the husband and wife team came to give the estimate, they seemed like a nice couple. I had several projects I needed estimates on. Waited nearly a week (after prompting with a phone call and an email) to get an estimate on plumbing a small cottage. It was over $9500! The estimate was more than triple of any other pex and more than double for pricier and harder to install copper estimates (I have learned to get at least 3 estimates). Mark Nance was referred by a neighbor who had him pex plumb their house (larger) for ~$2000 about 2 years ago. I emailed them back with my response that is was shocking. Then emailed twice for the other estimates (one of which he mentioned being only a 2 hour job). They never sent the estimates for the other projects. Maybe he does good work. I will ever know. I am left with a sense that it was some form of discrimination. Was it the Obama sticker on my car? Did I offend them? Did they think I was flush because I am trying to rehabilitate a foreclosed property? If they give you a reasonable estimate or if you don't care that it is triple the going rate, maybe try out ACE plumbing for PEX. He did say he uses grade A pex which is slightly more pricey but not $6000 more pricey.
