Huge thank you to Aaron of Ace Plumbing! When I called, I was able to receive service the same day and Aaron had my air conditioning up and running within a half hour of arriving. He seemed very knowledgeable and recommended that I purchase the service agreement, which I am so glad that I did. Aaron will be coming back out in the fall to service my unit before the cold temperatures hit. I definitely recommend Ace Plumbing for all of your heating/air conditioning repairs!

Called at 8 am and they were able to have Dennis at my house by 9 am. I assume this is not normal and I just got lucky. They were $80 just to show up, and this does NOT apply towards any repair costs. That is purely informational for the next yelper. Dennis immediately found I had a bad compressor, replaced it, answered all my questions and gave me lots of information. I'm happy with the service.

Our air conditioner went out on a very warm Saturday. We called our usual company that agreed to come out that night, only to call back an hour later and cancel. After calling several companies listed on yelp, Ace answered the phone and Jeremy came out bright and early Sunday morning. Fixed it in a few minutes. Thanks Jeremy!

I've used Ace several times and have been pleased for the most part. Scott, the manager, was easy to work with in dealing with damage to my fountain that occurred during my last encounter with Ace. He was professional and worked with me to arrive at a solution. Ace provides good customer service. Also, the last technician I dealt with, Ivan, was professional and solved my plumbing problem fairly quickly. I definitely will continue to use Ace meet my plumbing needs.

Update: 7/30/17

Called Ace again - - only this time it was for our air-conditioner. It quit blowing cold air in the middle of a heat wave on a Sunday afternoon. Ace came out after just one phone call and their technician, Dennis, diagnosed the problem quickly. We had cold air again in less than an hour. It's hard to believe they responded so quickly and during a heatwave, AND on a Sunday, but they did! They also honored their $20-off coupon they gave me last time for giving a Yelp review. I will continue to call Ace for my heating and air-conditioning needs and will always recommend them to my friends and family.

We called Ace when our 16 yr old central heat system started blowing cold air. The technician, Aaron, came during the timeframe they gave, and was very helpful and seemed knowledgeable about the system. He diagnosed the problem quickly and replaced the igniter, while not trying to sell us a new fan bc that still worked. We felt we received honest service from Aaron. Would definitely recommend Ace Plumbing for your heating-repair-needs!

My wife engaged this firm for our A/C shut down during the recent heat wave. They sent a technician who was here for about 2 hours. Here is the end result of that visit: $721.34 bill. We paid by check. The technician left before noon.
End result: That afternoon the A/C ceased to function. I checked ""YELP"" and was astonished to see so many horror stories for one company. I called the next day canceling our dealings with them. I was told what a great technician they had sent out, etc. they honored their work, they would guarantee the work etc. I then cancelled the check.
Today we had a five star A/C company come out. First thing - the A/C could have used 60 AMP fuses but got 50. This was not of consequence. But the fuses were loosely fitting and instead of being tight in the holder they had over-heated and shut the unit off. Hence the malfunction.
Even worse! 'extra freon"" (coolant) had been added. We were told this was necessary by Ace. The new company said excess coolant was over-loading the system and causing it to use about 20% more electricity. It was a stress on the compressor to have so much coolant in it. Result: it would be $100 additionally to drain the extra coolant and correctly dispose of it. Total bill for a real company - $300.00. The name of this real company is ""Rocklin Heating & Air"".

We had a clogged kitchen sink and my DIY efforts failed. Ace was able to schedule us same day. The tech called in advance to let me know he would be late, the job he was on got more complicated, and I really appreciate that. I hate waiting and not knowing. They showed up, got right to it, clean, courteous, all business. The other companies I called either couldn't make it out same day or their after hours service picked up at 8:00 in the morning. I recommend Ace.

Ivan has been out to my Mom's house twice for plumbing issues. Both times he was knowledgeable, honest, courteous and thorough. Highly knowledgeable about water heaters in these older Larchmont homes too. Excellent service!

We called Ace Plumbing Monday evening asking (begging really) if they could come to our rental home the next day and install a new water heater. Yes, of course, was the response. And, it gets better...only a 2 hour window - not 4 hours of waiting! John came to the house, agreed the hot water heater needed to be replaced, gave us the estimate and by 4:00 pm he was gone, the new water heater installed!!!
