I had a difficult clog in my sewer line. I first had Michael come out and he tried to unclog it but even with all his hard work it did not work. Called Ace again , this time 2 workers came out and went to the outside drain and went up the sewer pipe. This seems to have solved the problem.... All workers were very polite, hard working, and did a good job... They were all tipped for there efforts..

They do not care about their customers and are unreliable. They were the first company that came out to clear my main sewer back up which they were able to get the water to move but the next morning it was back. After calling home serve they sent out another tech from a different company. That tech put the camera in and concluded that water jetting was required due to the tree roots in my line. It's been 8 days with no facility's . Tuesday when they arrived the were not repaired to do what was needed and today ACE mechanical canceled on me, again leaving me with no facility's . On top of that they called homeserve and lied to them stating that I swore at them and they didn't want the job. To me the customer doesn't mean anything to them. They are about the easy money. I would definitely not recommend this company.me again.

The 2 technicians, Emery and Santiago cleared our sewer pipe and checked to make sure everything was draining well. They arrived within the time frame we were given and were respectful of our home and property. Great job!

Fast Track Review -- very rude service technician, administration/dispacher. No one knows what customer service is about in this business. Currently trying to resolve a resolution to the sewage smell still present 2 days after they completed their ""work by the ""top Technician"" -- NO sewage smell was present before they arrived... I could not tell you who they were, they did not say who they were and I did not see any ID with their name on. I cannot recommend this business, no mistake that they are located on Shady Lane...

Details of the experience -- First, let me say if I could leave a zero, I would. I was refered to this business through Home Serve Insurance. I am not sure why, since my problem was first assigned to another plumber but NBD. The technicians were rude and disrespectful from the start. I tried to explan the problem and how prior plumbers grinded out my sewer line 4 years ago resulting in a 4 month span of turning my home upside down from raw sewage seeping from their ""technical"" skills of snaking the block. I had asked for a camera so that they could see the pipes and hopefully, avoid the previous problem. They told me they didnt have a camera and no one told them. I told the last tech and Homeserve at the same time being on the phone with Home Serve and the tech on site the we need a camera. the tech basically said yes that should be the next step.

I had photos from that period which showed the configuration of the pipes, to which the original technician said, ""it looks like the previous plumbers used a T connection and should have used Y connection and that could be why he was not getting through the block.

Fast forward to the tech from AceMechanical. They did not show up with a camera, did not care about the configuration of the pipes ""I dont care about that just show me the toilet"" Further as I usually like to see what the worker is doing so I know for future problems, and told me they would handle it ... I did not have to watch them. OK NP... until it wasn't. when they were snaking the walls were shaking in the second floor when they were snaking due to the grinding that I was hearing from below.

I will not go into details of the rude way in which the tech tried to present me his work order with what they did, while texting on the phone and listing to another worker in the headset...let me just say again I cannot with any confidence say that the job is completed.

After they left, I noticed the bathroom had a sewer smell... perhaps because some one drilled through my difficult pipes because they knew better? Time will tell.... I cleaned the whole bathroom out with bleach , and waited 24 hours to see if that took care of the smell. It did not. It is now d days, still sewage smell and increasing... I am still waiting for a call back from the dispacher... it wount come. She told me she would speak to Home serve and They told me she closed out the work request... Horrible experience and now I am holding the bag trying to get a repair to the disaster their tech created.

This company did not complete the job order even though they were paid for it. Incompetent workers; they made a mess and did not clean after themselves. They stated several times they will call back in 5 minutes and never did. Lack of customer service and poor administration decision making. This company is not recommended. Stay away from this company.

Terrible company.
The person who answered the phone today on Friday Dec 29 2024 was rude. Not helpful. Uncaring.
It was unacceptable.

I had an urgent appt schedule.
2 hours later, They still never came.
When I asked why that was the case, the lady who answered tried to make excuses.
Then proceeded to say that it's not their fault.
Then decided to cancel my urgent appt.
Leaving me in a bad situation.
After i cancelled my work to be home for them.

Plainly unaccceptable.
How she got the job to answer the phone and be customer service is mind blowing to me.

Roy did a great job with diagnosing the problem and explaining what was wrong with my sewer line . He fixed the problem promptly and he was very efficient .

I have the Homeserve insurance service and they dispatched Ace Mechanical Sewer Drain Cleaning out of Edison.

I had two gentleman show up (Gustavo and Roy). They were quickly able to diagnose my issue which was some debris caught in my trap. They cleaned and snaked it out and the water was flowing again.

I was extremely happy with the service rendered. They were prompt, professional, and cleaned up afterwards. I would recommend this company to others.
