Quick fix for leaky shower. Rick came out the same morning I called to ask for help and an estimate. He was on time for the appointment, knowledgeable and well prepared with the proper equipment to fix the problem. Service cost what I expected and was done quickly. I would definitely hire again.

Our contractor hired Ace Hi to do the plumbing on two complete bathroom remodels. First, the plumber who came did an amazing up front job, but the customer service from Shawn, who I believe is one of the owners was appalling. There were constant questions over billing, even though we'd paid and now we're experiencing some problems because pipes aren't staying connected.

Shawn's snark and sarcasm was not only unprofessional, but well past rude. I'll have them fix the issue if they can, but I would never recommend Ace Hi or use them again.

I have had great experiences with Ace Hi. As a new home owner, finding a reliable plumber is vital. My new water heater was installed recently and I found these guys to be professional, prompt, and reasonably priced! I've also had to call to have a toilet serviced and man, did they come out quick, thank God! The owner, Rick, is certainly a ""no nonsense"" kind of guy, but I find it refreshing! I would definitely refer them to any of my friends or family who is need of good, honest, work!

I was left with a voicemail that said my contractor had not paid the bill and you would be putting a lien on my home (I have the voicemail which has been turned over to my attorney), I was also told this when I called. I have never been contacted, nor have I received a bill. You were very arrogant and rude, and even told me I had too much energy and should be using it on my contractor. You threatened me to get an attorney, which at that point I told you I had one. You made the scratch on the tile floor. I did scream in the end because you refused to listen to me. I have never experienced such a rude business owner as yourself.

We have used Ace Hi twice. First time through Lowe's for water heater, Ace Hi did the installation. Had such a good experience used them again for our heater six months later. We were expecting to have to replace the heater for $4,000+. New motor installed for 395.00 WOW! The HVAC repairman was very through in looking over the heating system. We absolutely will use them again for our plumbing and heating/AC.

Ace Hi lost the five star rating after technician charged us for his travel time to our home. I don't think so. There is an internal conflict with employees of Ace Hi who are not getting paid by Ace Hi for their travel time to customers homes. This is ridiculous that employer will not pay travel time. Sorry. I will not be using Ace Hi again.

Unlike others, it appears, I have used the service of Ace Hi p&h on many occasions and over many years. Rick and his crew have been there -- not weather permitting but rather weather be damned. They've had their hands in sewer effluent in freezing temperatures; crawling in tight, airless spaces in sweltering conditions to find and fix the problems that were making my or my tenant's lives miserable. I don't expect free stuff but I do expect fair treatment. I get what I expect from Ace Hi.

This company is completely unprofessional and terrible at communicating. We were quoted a price on the phone for a service call ($49) and told that did not include parts. The service person came out and gave us a possible diagnosis for our shower issue, but did not fix the issue or order any parts. We were then told the charge would be $89. I called the store to verify that the charge should have been the $49 they had quoted since no repair work was done. I was told that the $49 was for him showing up only, not for any of his time. What? Maybe I'm confused as to what a 'service charge' is. As I was in the middle of asking why there was an additional charge when no repairs were made, Shawn cut me off and put me on hold. I called back and talked to Rick, and he was extremely rude. I was merely trying to understand why we were being charged more than $49, and everyone I talked to was extremely rude and couldn't give me an answer. Take your business elsewhere.

While I can't speak to the actual ""service"" due to Rick's blatant refusal to provide such; the professionalism here is completely lacking. Referred by the manufacturer, I contacted this company for a service call. I wish I never made the call, Shawn was perfectly nice and concise however when I called back Rick's attitude was completely unprofessional. He acted as though I was bothering him and he didn't have any manners or common courtesy and ultimately refused the job. Maybe Rick is having a rough time right now, maybe he didn't sleep well, maybe he hates the manufacturer and they owe him money, who the hell knows. But as a potential customer with many connections and referral possibilities, be kind to people and show them respect especially when they seek you out. I have no idea how this company made it on ""Angie's List"" with the exception that they paid for it. Do yourself a favor, avoid at ALL costs. I'd give no stars if possible.
