Second time we've called on them to fix our problems. Service was great as always. It's so nice when you don't have to worry about what the repair guys will be like. Will they be able to communicate with you, will they be on time. will they show up. These guys are so professional. They always confirm and they follow up to make sure we're happy with the service. Ace Handyman quotes over the phone and works to get the job scheduled within a few days of the order. Their customer service is impeccable and their craftsmen are professional and proficient. I don't usually write reviews unless they're really good or really bad. And Handyman Matters is REALLY good. TL;DR: Handyman Matters is a great business with great people and great service and I am glad to have found them! I have a rental property in Atlanta but I no longer reside in GA. It is imperative for me to know a handyman who is good at what they do and trustworthy. And same goes for the tenant who has to interact with the handyman and be comfortable. Handyman Matters is it. I am glad to have found them. It is always a pleasure speaking with them. Lindsay is helpful and makes things much easier for me. Even though I have not been there myself to meet the handymen or see the work, I know I don't need to worry about the quality and they stand behind their work. The tenant has really good feedback for them as well.

Darryl Sizemore, owner of handyman matters was a delight to work with. We hired handyman matters for a large bead board project flanking The stairs of our three story townhome. It was a large job with lots of intricate measuring and cutting. Kenny and Ray that we're assigned to the job were very professional and knowledgeable. They did an amazing job and we are pleasantly pleased! We would highly recommend handyman matters!

Had 6 basic tasks. They estimated $420, 3 hours tops. They only completed 3 tasks and wanted an additional $540 to finish. Super slow worker and exorbitant prices. Hire someone else.

It is unfortunate to have a great experience during the whole process leading upto scheduling and being disappointed even before the business had the chance to come out to do the actual work. But this is what happened to me and wanted to share with prospects. Again, a handyman came out and was able to provide me with almost an instant estimate emailed to me, which was great. Few days later, I spoke to the """"dispatcher"""" on the phone to schedule everything and confirmed that they will be coming out and also provided me with a revised estimate based on what we have discussed (no surprises, just to reflect what was discussed). A day before the scheduled work, I gave them a call to confirm the arrival time, but I got the """"you are not on the schedule"""" response and that I was suppose to confirm the new estimate that they sent me... The email of the estimate states no instructions that I had to confirm the estimate, or even to call them or respond to the email; just a simple """"Here's is a revised estimate"""". After confronting the dispatcher, I got the """"perhaps you should look for another handyman"""" without any apologies or willingness to work with me to get things corrected. Unfortunately, I have other work that were subsequently scheduled with other businesses (new carpets, deep cleaning, etc), now I am having to reschedule everything and find another handyman. If you would like to work with a """"nationwide organization"""" that is supported by, so far, 1 person who's answering a phone call, that's fine. But don't expect what you say on the phone to mean anything to them. Make sure you have everything in writing.

Price Gouging! after sending numerous pics and describing what i need and being told most needed items would be on their truck, and waiting 14 days for appointment, today received a call stating they could not keep that commitment. In addition, I would have to determine what they need to do the job and have required supplies on hand i.e. reinstall an entry door! they will not come out to determine job first. Also they charge $60 in advance should I need to use their nails & caulk and $115/hr, min 2 hrs, labor only. BTW they get $115/hr to shop for req. supplies.
