Derrick is one of those rare diamonds you find in life-- a truly honest and caring person. I was pulling out my hair over changing my hot/cold water mixer valves in my apartment. Because the valves were old and worn, I was taking a lot of cold showers since the hot water was not getting through. Derrick helped me obtain the right parts at the lowest prices possible and did the work at a very reasonable and low price. Definitely would recommend him. We need more Derricks in the plumbing industry!

I have been pleased with Derek's service in the past. So, I called him two weeks ago to install my dishwasher that was to be delivered by an appliance store. However, the appliance should be unhooked for them to haul it away. Derek gracefully offered his service to do it and to install it after the delivery of the dishwasher. He came to the house, unhooked the appliance and asked for $110 advance fee which I comply since I trusted him. (so I thought). When the dishwasher was delivered on 11/21/15, I called him three times and not a return call. Monday 11/23/15 I he answer my call, unfriendly, and said he is in Maui and does not know when he will return to Oahu, and for me to call another plumber. WHen asked about the cash I already advanced him, he said it is for the unhooking job and if he were to install the dishwasher, it will cost another $120, totalling $230 !!! This is more than what the appliance store quoted me ($174), the reason why I offered the job to Derek, in the first place; of course, with less money as well since it has always been a cash deal. I have been had by him; and I thought he was a nice and honest guy.

Called them on a Saturday and low and behold someone answered. Right from the beginning, the person who answered the phone seemed really bothered to have answered the phone. He asked me what I needed and I told him that my water heater was leaking and that I needed a new one. He poked and prodded as to how many gallons my water heater was, how tall it was, how wide it was, where is it located (inside the house next to carpet) etc... After having answered all his questions and him saying that I would need to change it right away, he added... The earliest we would be able to help you is Monday. Why even ask me questions about the water heater and tell me that it would need to be changed if you can't help me right away? 2 stars for answering your phone.

I took a chance randomly picking a plumber to fix a clog in the main line of our townhouse. My sink was overflowing everytime the upstairs tenant would wash his dishes. Derrick came the same day and fit me in his schedule after finishing another job. He did the job quickly and charged me much less than I was expecting for all the work he did. I again called him this year to fix my leaky garden faucet and leaky shower. He did both again for a very reasonable price and came the next day - as it was not an emergency. He also recommended us to buy our parts ourselves to save money. One thing though, if you are on a tight schedule he may not be for you. He tries to fit you in between jobs, so if the job prior to yours takes longer, you may be waiting longer for him to get to your house. Very reasonable prices, quality work, and friendly service.

I was really impressed with Ace, I called them to pump my septic tank, I usually use the ones around my area to pump, but they tend to be expensive. Even though Ace is very far away from us (we live on the North Shore) they were lower than all the others and did a great job!

We called the plumber, Derick, this morning and he ended up coming over in about 20 minutes, a lot faster than we thought. We told him over the phone what we though might be the problem, what we did to try and fix it, and if we had any issues like this before. When he came over, he thoroughly inspected our home and locations of the pipes and decided to snake the pipes in the bottom of the house because the plumbers we had before, but from another company, didn't do those and said they did a temporary fix. So he was under the house and explained what he was doing and what we should do to prevent this from happening again. He was very helpful and sympathetic because our home was old and we had tons of family members over and only one bathroom. He also checked to make sure the hardware was working. The visit from the other plumbers from before that only snaked the top pipe charged us $500 while Derick charged us less than $200. We were very grateful and will call on this company for our plumbing needs.

My shower had a leak and Derek was quick to respond. Quite honestly, I was reluctant to call since he had so few reviews. Now he will be my go-to plumber. He arrived on a Sunday evening and diagnosed the problem. Since the stores were closed, he showed me all the parts I would need if I wanted to attempt to repair it the next day. Furthermore, he didn't even charge me for the visit. The next day he repaired our shower and showed me how to do it myself, and was patient to show me step by step. Great service.

Derrick was referred by another plumber to replace my water supply valve for toilet. I talked to him over the phone, and texted him photos of what needed to be replaced the night before. He came in as expected the next day, and right off the bat I noticed his personality. Besides his awesome personality, his work was extremely good!

Excellent work, great personality and price. I called a couple places. Derrick was willing to come within the hour at night for $90 or the next morning for $75. The 2nd place I called was $90 with an additional $25 fee and weren't available for a week. We had a backup bath tub. Derrick was so nice, he fixed it by plunging it and also showed me how to do it, so I could do it myself if it happened again. Derrick is a very friendly wonderful guy to talk to and did an awesome job!
