Contacted Ace last week for a quote to furnish and install a circuit board for my heat pump. Owner called back 5 days later with a price of $650. This was highest of 3 prices by far for 30 minutes to install a circuit board that costs $125. That's over $500 for labor if you have money to throw away and he hung up on me when I protested the price quote.

Rick was out on to my home on a Thursday to top off coolant. Paid him for service. Due to a fraud alert on my bank card, the bank didn't cash the check I gave him. He proceeds to come back to my house prior to talking to me and pulls the fuse on my ac unit. He never told me this, I figured it out on my own. My wife and small child were home in a 90 degree house all day. The house was so hot, all of the smoke detectors went off. All he had to do was knock on my door or talk to me.
This guy is a clown. Search elsewhere for hvac service.
The payment was rectified the following morning

I've used these guys for 3 years now for various plumbing, water heater, and HVAC. It's a small company staffed with fully qualified tradesmen who are professional, courteous, honest, and fair in pricing. They call ahead when on the way, arrive when they say will, and do excellent, careful work. You might have to wait a little bit longer to fit into the schedule, but their scheduler is kind, professional, and courteous, and stays in close contact with their techs.

I trust these guys to do excellent work and, while providing me with all available options, not try to sell me something I don't need. Truly a 5 Star operation.
