Disappointed. Guy came out cleaned out the return on both units, changed a connector on 1unit and a capacitor on another for $1100-1300. Ac repair got to be the biggest thieves ever. Stay as far away from these guys as possible .wouldn't recommend them to anyone

Called to get my AC fixed and had Justin come out the next day he gave me a price which was a bit high but I was ready to pay to get me and my 2 year old son out of the summer heat
Sure enough he was only able to put some kind of jumper cables and still tried to charge me so I had to call back to get someone else to come out because my air did not work at all still then when she came out I was told I needed a new system which cost $7500-$15000
I told her no then I had to get someone else out here to get a new system up and running for wayyyyy lower the price and I got better work done
And now today I get an invoice because they think I owe them $15 lol this company isn't worried about you just how much they make

We called accutemp Wednesday advised them we needed an electrician to come out and take care of our fire suppressant system's microchip (per the fire suppressant company) accutemp took our information and then contacted us back to make the appt and confirm it for Friday 9am. I received a call 1.5 hr before they were supposed to come out to tell me I need to contact the fire suppressant company to ask if they have someone to come out for the job.

This could have easily been informed to me when I called to make the appointment.
The fire suppressant company already came out to do their part and only the electrician needs to come out to complete the microchip side. The fact that they had to call me back Wednesday to set up and confirm the appointment made me feel that they knew what they were coming out to do. Sadly, that's not the case. They didn't even make an attempt to come out to see what was supposed to be done. But now I know, Accutemp is false advertising since electrician is not part of their forte.

Easy to set up an appointment and the technician arrived on time. On the negative side, they employ aggressive sales tactics and their prices are at least 10 times higher compared to similar businesses in the local area.

We hired them to come diagnose and fix our home generator. After 3 appointment misses due to rain and lack of them communicating they finally came out to look at it. He said it would cost $600 to fix and ordered a few parts. Took weeks to get the follow up appointment after they stated the parts were in. He came to install said parts then claimed we needed a new starter which we ordered and said he would come put it in. As of now it's been 2 months since we ordered the starter and he refuses to answer our calls and texts. We've been patient and understanding but I have a daughter that has special needs we require a running generator to handle her equipment when the power is out. I'm very frustrated with the way we've been treated.

They sent a technician for a/c tuneup for the agreed price of $262 ($131 for each unit). He completed this work in half hour and then came up with a list of 20+ repairs that needed to be done immediately. The magnitude of sales pressure he put on was enormous, and I ended up paying $2,175 for the additional work which he completed in another half hour. He told me he pumped in 3 lb of refrigerant which itself, he said, cost $500!!! No warranty for the work done. Not even a receipt with an explanation of costs.

UPDATE: After I complained about not even receiving an invoice, they emailed me an invoice 3 days later, which showed inflated charges. The total amount for the following 4 repairs was $1913.33: 1) replace contactor; 2) replace capacitor; 3) add 1-3 lb of refrigerant; 4) install a start kit. When I searched for the cost of the parts, they turned out to be dirt cheap. For example, the capacitor costs less than $20. I was told that the refrigerant was expensive. The invoice says 1-3 lb! Did the technician add 1 lb or 3 lb, or added 1 lb and lied about adding 3 lb? Keep in mind that all this work was completed in half hour. Yes, the cost was $1913.33 for half hour work. The disclaimers and disclosures on the invoice were never shown to me. I was shown a box to sign and the text on top of the signature box was not there on the electronic tablet given to me to sign. Based on my horrible experience with Accutemp, my impression is that it is a dishonest, deceitful business that traps customers with hidden fees, hidden disclosures, and hidden disclaimers. BEWARE of their scam!!!

AccuTemp is a fantastic company with genuine values. They care about their customers and their employees and it shows by the quality and customer service they produce. I would recommend them to each of my friends and anyone who needs HVAC maintenance or if there is an issue. Joey is a 5 star technician who gives 5 star service every time!

Just had a whole HBAC system installed, with duct work. Finished in less than a day! The crew was amazing. Very friendly and kind. This has been a great experience from the start. Thanks to Matt the engineer for getting me the perfect equipment for my house and Mike for scheduling such an amazing crew. Hunter, Tony and Jeremy were the install crew and were great. I can not recommend this company enough for all your HVAC needs. They really helped me out with financing as well!!!

This company, specifically Kerry, is amazing! He had been helping us with our ancient system for over ten years without any sales pressure. When we were finally ready to get a new system we were confident that he had our backs and gave us the best price for the system we wanted. The installation crew was spectacular, fast, polite, clean and professional. We got our system completely removed and replaced in ONE DAY! As I cooled off that evening I never knew they were there as they literally swept the floor as they walked out the door. HIGHLY recommend this company. We are a lifetime customer for sure! As a bonus, new system is so quiet and efficient I have to feel the vents to see if it's on as there is NO noise. Super bonus first month's bill was $100 less!
