we were without a/c on a Saturday, called our regular guy but couldn't reach him. so, I called AccuTemp, explained my situatio, I have my 94 yr old mom living with me. they sent someone out quickly and got the a/c working, however found problems with the installation that was causing the problems. they sent and electrician out to correct the problem and in doing that he called a tech to come and check everything out that our home warranty company had installed. to our surprise, our a/c was a connected with wrong wiring, the intakes for it were half blocked, the exhaust pipe was cracked and the 'patches' were breaking down. all in all, our system was so messed up we were losing efficiency and paying higher electric bills.
We hired them to correct all the problems and even install new equipment.
Their prices were very very fair and workmanship was excellent.
I have a friend who is very knowledgeable in that kind of work and he was impressed and told me that AccuTemp had done a fantastic job in correcting all the problems that American Home Shield technicians had messed up!

They sent a technician for a/c tuneup for the agreed price of $262 ($131 for each unit). He completed this work in half hour and then came up with a list of 20+ repairs that needed to be done immediately. The magnitude of sales pressure he put on was enormous, and I ended up paying $2,175 for the additional work which he completed in another half hour. He told me he pumped in 3 lb of refrigerant which itself, he said, cost $500!!! No warranty for the work done. Not even a receipt with an explanation of costs.

UPDATE: After I complained about not even receiving an invoice, they emailed me an invoice 3 days later, which showed inflated charges. The total amount for the following 4 repairs was $1913.33: 1) replace contactor; 2) replace capacitor; 3) add 1-3 lb of refrigerant; 4) install a start kit. When I searched for the cost of the parts, they turned out to be dirt cheap. For example, the capacitor costs less than $20. I was told that the refrigerant was expensive. The invoice says 1-3 lb! Did the technician add 1 lb or 3 lb, or added 1 lb and lied about adding 3 lb? Keep in mind that all this work was completed in half hour. Yes, the cost was $1913.33 for half hour work. The disclaimers and disclosures on the invoice were never shown to me. I was shown a box to sign and the text on top of the signature box was not there on the electronic tablet given to me to sign. Based on my horrible experience with Accutemp, my impression is that it is a dishonest, deceitful business that traps customers with hidden fees, hidden disclosures, and hidden disclaimers. BEWARE of their scam!!!

Luke quickly diagnosed the issue of a bad switch connection on my outside unit. He had a replacement part on his truck and had my unit back in business in no time! I highly recommend AccuTemp for new unit replacements and maintenance of my older unit as well. Hope to use them for a long time!

We called AccuTemp to come out and unplugged a kitchen sink drain not draining. We waited for half a day for someone to come only to find they wanted to charge us $443.00 for a job not complete. The technician was not knowledgeable and after 40 minutes of snaking the drain it was still clogged. He left and told us the line has to be hydro jet for additional costs that might be $600. Completely unfair pricing and not knowledgeable tech. My problem was not solved after two hours at a cost of $443. Accutemp is false advertising since plumbing is not part of their forte. We called another company and had the problem resolve in 30 minutes at half the price.

If I could give a 0 star review I would. These guys went from a home grown service focused company to a business solely focused on profit and growth. My personal experience is them quoting my mother to diagnose her two A/C units at her house. They charged her $75 per unit just to quote the work then quoted approximately $1k to resolve the issue on one of the units and told her the other would have to be diagnosed separately and they would have check and see if the warranty was valid(when they were in fact the original installers).

I got involved, brought in another mechanical company to compare pricing and my inclination that AccuTemp was trying to take advantage of my mother was confirmed. The other company was able to resolve the issues on both of the units on the same day I called them for $267.

Please go ahead and reimburse my mom for the fees your charged her. Also, I should probably mention the drain line y'all installed that has caused my moms house to flood on the second floor multiple times. You need to reach out to her and make it right. I am just trying to stand up for my mom as she gets taken advantage of.

Many, many reasons. They left my A/C unplugged in the attic. They disconnected my hot water heater. They dug a trench to pipe and left it uncovered. They broke off a piece of my patio and made a half hearted and unacceptable repair. They charged me to have my entire house reputed for gas. My gas lamps no longer work. I spent days waiting for appointments with Entergy that they were supposed to arrange and coordinate. They did none of it and I had to do it myself. And finally, the installation took 2 months instead of 2 weeks.

After having a lot of trouble finding A/C Heating company that would not gauge us and did quality work (had to go outside of home warranty companies because they were all bad), we landed on Accutemp. They came out and serviced both of our units, told us the areas they saw previously shoddy work done, fix those issues, and then came back a few weeks later when air was blowing warm and found a wire that was missed causing the issue, fixed it and did not charge. So far so good with this company. Both times the techs were very helpful and covered everything needed to know with my wife.

Had an issue with my AC. The AC technician cleared my line but a plumber was also needed tho clear another line in the attic. The techs arrived the same day and were super professional. Even turned my water heater down as it was set to a scalding temperature. Would highly recommend!!

Jimbo was a great technician. He didn't pressure for a big fix or sale, he found what was wrong and fixed it quickly! He gave me information about their maintenance program but wasn't pushy. Thanks so much, Jimbo!

WAY too expensive, $200 over priced, spent over 400 just to get capacitor changed out, but nice lady who fixed it right
