I hate to be that review guy but it's 30 degrees right now and I don't have hot water. My Rheem water heater was less than 4 years old and stopped working last weekend. It has a 9 year warranty so I contacted Accurate to get it checked out and fixed. Instead of informing me that I could get the entire unit replaced via my warranty the same day thru an authorized Rheem service provider, they decided to charge me for replacing the part they "assumed" wasn't working which was the gas control valve. The tech conned me out of $300 in labor and I had to source the part myself in order to have hot water that same day, otherwise he would have to contact Rheem and order the parts which could take up to a week. Not once did he mention anything about the warrant. Not to mention him and his assistant didn't even wear a mask when they entered my home. 3 days later the water heater stopped working again and here I am with no hot water during a winter storm in Texas. Accurate is refusing to fix the issue and continues to try and sell me the same $600 water heater I currently have for $1600 installed ($1k labor for a 2hr job) without compensation for the labor I've already paid or the hotel rooms I had to book this week so I can shower. I finally contacted another plumber who is an authorized Rheem tech and he mentioned he could get my warranty verified and have a new heater installed the same day for FREE instead of trying to chase/replace parts. InAccurate Plumbing is trash.....

I am very happy with the customer service this company has provided. Helpful, friendly, and very fair in their pricing. This will be my go to plumbing company.

First, the pros: (1) a live person answers the phone and sets appointments, (2) they showed up on-time, (3) both guys were wearing masks, (4) they do not have a trip charge, (5) they snaked out three sink drains in about an hour and they work great now, and (6) they gave us a senior citizen discount.

Next, the cons: (1) they would not give us an estimate for the job before they came out although it was very straight-forward, but once they got to our house they were able to give us a price immediately, (2) the cost to snake out each drain was over $200 (which we thought was on the high side) but we didn't want to call another plumber bc our sinks were clogged up and we really needed to do this ASAP, (3) they spilled something on a bathroom rug that stained it, and (4) they said they would take a credit card but then wanted to be paid with a check.

About the bleach on the rug: they offered to replace or pay for the rug without hesitation. We received a check to replace it within a week.

We would use them again, but I think we would check prices at other companies first. Their service was fine, we just didn't like not having any idea of the price up front.
