We have used Accurate Plumbing exclusively for more than 20 years now, for everything from extending an outside drain to installing a new water heater, from adding an outside hose bib to re-aligning the plumbing for a new dishwasher, for unclogging slow-draining sinks to capping off a gas line ... you name it and Accurate Plumbing has done it for us expertly, quickly, thoroughly, and often at stunningly low cost. The original owners retired in about 2018, but Scotty and the other long-timers there carry on their tradition of excellent work at reasonable prices.
IMHO, you CANNOT find a better plumber in Phoenix.

Scott at Accurate Plumbing and Drain Service did an excellent job replacing my water heater. It was a 75 gallon gas heater with an electric power vent and a recirculation pump attached, and stuffed into a garage closet. He arrived a few minutes early, brought all of the correct parts, had the job done sooner than he thought, cleaned up the area when finished, hauled away the old heater, and charged me exactly what he had quoted the day before. Every step of this job was done efficiently, expertly, and very clean - with no exaggeration. I watched this job and got to know Scott, and I would recommend him to anyone looking for quality work at a reasonable price. The best part was his personality, he is a friendly, fair-minded, upbeat kind of guy. Great family company, great people, solid work, expert results, fair price, exactly what you hope to get in a plumber.

Do not use these people! We called and scheduled service around 11:30am on a Friday. They told us they would come between 3 an 5. At 3:15 they called and told us they couldn't come until Monday. Completely unacceptable! Now we have to try and have to find someone to come out at the end of day on a Friday.

I have used this company twice, and this last experience was NOT a positive one. The technician, Scott, that came out to fix a leak in my backyard caused a leak in the front yard in the pipe where the main water valve is. He did not make us aware of what he had done, nor did he fix it. Instead, he wrapped it in tape and left it for us to find. When we discovered this 5 days later, we immediately contacted the company and spoke to Betty. Rather that resolve the issue, she stated that Scotty said he didn't cause the leak so they would not fix it. It is not a problem that the technician somehow caused damage, but he handled it unethically by not taking responsibility for what he did and not fixing it. Furthermore, it is unacceptable and very poor customer service for a customer to be called a liar by the owner based on what their employee is unwilling to take responsibility for. I've worked in customer service for MANY years, and while you may not always agree with the customer, anyone running a business that values their customers and prides themselves in customer satisfaction would rectify the situation rather than blowing it like it's no big deal. Even one customer lost to a bad experience is too many. I paid for a service and now have to pay to fix damage caused by their company that they do not want to take responsibility for. HORRIBLE way to do business.

Rick has showed up last minute to bail me out of plumbing problems many times. He always has good advice and is kind and respectful. I've found his work to be excellent. Trustworthy folks.

We used this company in the past and it was a great experience. I made the mistake recently of using another company because of an online coupon. I will never do that again.

The other company made me feel pressured, they said the coupon didn't apply to my situation, said it would cost $300 to unclog my sink but they would give me a deal for $167. They left me with a broken sink and an estimate for $500 to fix the pipes they broke when trying to unclog the sink. They said they were not responsible for broken pipes.

I called Accurate (which I should have done in the first place.) Accurate would have fixed my clog for half the price, and not left my pipes broken. It was only $10 worth of parts to replace what the previous plumber broke. My sink works great now!! Not to mention Betty and everyone there are just so great to talk with.

Lesson learned!!!! I definantly wish I had called Accurate to begin with! I will never use anyone else ever again!! Don't leave a company you trust for a cheesy coupon.

Also don't put spaghetti in a garbage disposal.

I've been using Accurate for about 40 years now on many houses over that time. They've always done a great job, stood behind their work and charged a fair price. They've never, in all that time tried to gouge me. It's comforting to know you can trust a contractor fully.
