One star for responsive, otherwise, zero stars would be given. Accurate Leak Locators "fixed" our leaky 2nd floor bathroom toilet 6/29/21 by locating a leak from that location which affected the downstairs dining room. A wax ring fix later, some water mitigation and we are good to go, only we aren't!

A suspicious decolorization appeared on the ceiling a couple of weeks ago, and yep, you guessed it, that wax ring didn't fix anything. The black water has been leaking for the past 6-months y'all and as of today, mold mitigation (FYI - not covered by homeowners insurance) has been completed. A bathroom completely deconstructed and requiring a full rebuild because leaky black water caused mold and ruined sub-flooring and insulation.

Now here's the really fun part, what started as $500 for the leak detection, wax ring and a hole in the ceiling, and $600 for water mitigation, back in June (reasonable, right?) you'd think that'd be all she wrote, but nope, get your checkbook and/or credit card out, because we are just getting started, $1182 up front for half the plumbing costs, $4400 for mold and water mitigation, with insurance covering about 38% of that, plus add another $800 for air quality testing and certification of mold free, (also not covered by insurance), and we haven't even gotten to the rebuild.

Wonder what next week will bring when the adjuster shows up. More fun and more is sure to be involved.

I had to have foundation work recently - pre-foundation work they inspected to make sure leaky pipes were not causing the damage. Post-foundation work a pipe in my yard broke. They were able to fix it the next day. They answered all my question - without judgement since I know nothing about pipes - and were honest enough tk save me money by saying I dod not need to install what I thought I needed and had requested. I will call them again if I have plumbing issues and will highly recommend them to anyone who asks me for a plumber.
