Woke up one morning to find a large pooling of water in our lower field. I was able to locate the the water main leak to the edge of the asphalt driveway, but lost it from there. Not wanting to tear up the whole driveway, I started looking for leak detection companies in my area. The first I called, never returned my call, the second had a 4 day wait, then I found Acculine. I called and had a call back within about 20 minutes, and was able to schedule later in the day.

The owner, Chris, gave me a written estimate, and contacted me when he was enroute. He arrived promptly, and punctual on the time we agreed.
He explained the leak detection procedure, and had the leak located within about 15 minutes. He even allowed me to listen to the area where the leak was detected.

The next day I dug out the area where he had located, and the water main and leak were in that exact location, saving me from having to tear out the driveway on an exploratory expedition. He was well worth what he charges, His charges were also in line with other leak detection companies.
Unfortunately these days, it's sometimes hard to find service companies with honesty and integrity. I was lucky to find Acculine with such fine qualities.

Chris responded very quickly to my request to find the mystery water leak on our private drive. He went above and beyond to locate the leak and when we discovered we had a second leak, he responded quickly to locate that one. Having a water leak is a stressful situation and Chris understands the urgency, unlike other companies I contacted.. He is very professional, and has pleasant personality...I highly recommended Acculine if you need leak detection.

Carini plumbing came out on a Sunday, 11/21, when our tenant had a leak in our unit, and couldn't find the leak. The plumber believed it to be a leak under the slab so they recommended Chris to us. We paid Chris $350 upfront on Sunday to have a full inspection with camera of our water lines, scheduled for Monday, 11/22. On 11/22, Chris was barely in the unit 10 minutes total and sent us a text with a very small, grainy photo and one sentence to say he found the leak, a pipe leading to the clothes washer. I followed up asking if that's the only leak, and he said yes. So he literally texted three times a total of ten words and a very tiny photograph of the leak that we could barely make out. Our tenant said he was curt to her and did not say anything to her either about how bad the water leak was. He did not share the urgency of the leak with us or recommend turning off the water until a plumber could fix the leak. Instead we asked Carini to come back out to fix the leak but did not stress it was an emergency, so they showed up the next day. Once the Carini plumber came on Tuesday, 11/23, he told us to call the city to shut off the water. I am disappointed by the lack of communication after the leak was found and that he did not recommend shutting off the water or that we need to get a plumber back there that night. Also, he didn't actually do what we paid him to do, which was send a camera into our lines. I found out later he stuck his ear to the wall and he heard the leak. He told his coworker who was coming in with all the gear to do a camera inspection not to bother and that he already found the leak, and then they left. This was explained to me on the next day, after the house was already flooded. The water damage by not having the water shut off sooner was about$20k, and the restoration work just wrapped up two weeks ago, so the tenant was without her home from Thanksgiving through 21 Jan 2022. It took me this long not to be so angry that I could just list the facts for this review.

I have had water issues due to slab leaks and bad plumbing in my building for years. The building managment was not responsive in helping identify the cause of the leak. I reached today as it was my official move out day. Chris was able to come out, assess both areas of concern and provide me the proof I need to show my insurance. They did a much more thorough assessment than the vendors the building sends. So appreciate quality work and the effort to go above and beyond. I had an ETA and the information I needed. Thank you! Chris the owner of Acculine Leak Detection saved the day for me. I had a bad water leak under my house that was costing me $100s a day from the gas and water department. He came out the day I called him and gave me a competitive bid. He explained everything to me in easy to understand terms and I trusted him immediately. I am disabled in a wheelchair on a low income and a severe emergency for me as I had to turn the water off. He came the next day with the equipment to find the leaks and checked the entire house. He started work that day with an assistant and they worked two full days to reroute the pipes through the attic which also saved me much money. It was in El Cajon, CA which is extremely hot so it was a very difficult job. He is friendly, kind, caring, very respectful, He is professional and really knows his trade. Chris responded promptly. He was able to locate the leak deep under the driveway concrete slab within 1-2 feet of the actual leak. The pipe was under the ground by about 4 feet deep then covered by a thick concrete slab. Excellent friendly service.
