One of our 14 year old water heater tanks started leaking on Labor Day. Frantically we managed the crisis with the help of caring neighbors. (Thank you, Fred & Sam) Found Accolade on Yelp and called Gabriel for a service appointment. He arrived promptly, carefully examined the leaking tank, asked a few questions and advised us NOT to get a new one. The reason: one 40-gallon tank is plenty for 4 people. He removed the leaked tank and reconnected the functional tank to the water system. Parts were reused to save money and landfill without us asking. The entire job costed hundreds less than expected ($167.50 vs $900). He even took time to fix our central vacuum system for free. Gabriel treats customers and his job with respect. We have found The Plumber. BTW, he doesn't charge extra on weekends or holidays.

I am amazed that a plumber could be so great! We had a emergency plumbing issue with our shower at 10:00 pm on Saturday night and the water was rising from the pipes below. My fiancé mentioned to call Rooter Rooter, but I think they typically take advantages of customers, so I logged on to Yelp and saw great reviews about Accolade Plumbing and that Jay had just fixed someone else's shower a couple hours earlier and they had raved about his work. I called him up and he was over to our place in Mission Valley within 1/2 hour from El Cajon and fixed our shower issue for a reasonable price and then took a look at our bathtub and fixed it at no charge because he gave us some good advice on how to drain the tub properly. Jay was very friendly and he was on time and the quote he stated was what he charged. When I have plumbing problems in the future I will be Accolade Plumbing. Thank you again to Jay and Accolade Plumbing!

I'd lost my faith in the repair service industry until Jay from Accolade Plumbing came to fix a problem.

Sowed up with the right parts taking time on his own to get a special part. He figured it out from a picture I'd texted him.

I will only use him for any future plumbing services. I can't say enough about him. Amazing service!!!

Gabriel is the BEST ever!!! He is f-ing awesome!! Totally last minute call on a Saturday night and he came over right away.

We had two backed up toilets with BM up the wazoo, and he came to save the day. he was super professional, courteous, and honest, with the best price in town.

If u need a plumber in SD, call Gabriel!!!

Very honest plumbler. I'm keeping him in mind if I ever have another plumbing problem. Gabriel tried explaining how to fix my slow draining sink over the phone but I ended up needed him to come over because I didn't understand. While he was at my place he even gave us some tips on how to fix simple plumbing issues. I highly recommend him if you're looking for a plumber! I'm going to recommend him to everyone I know.

I finally had to quit ignoring the evidence of a leak in my bathroom. Financial fears had me paralized, but after reading all the positive reviews for Gabriel I decided to move forward. I am so glad I did, and that I called Gabriel. He was such a refreshing change from the majority of contractors I have worked with in the past. He found the problem promptly; fixed it, and best of all, gave me recommendations to resolve my mold problem (that I have to admit was created from my delaying the repairs). His suggestions were designed so I wouldn't have to take out a second mortgage!

I will no longer fear calling a plumber. When you find someone with genuine integrity and all the other ingredients needed in an excellent plumber; like Gabriel, it makes it an easy call.

So after calling over 5 plumbers we could not get an appointment anywhere for a few days - Fast forward to Gabriel - we called him Saturday morning and he came that afternoon.!!!! Something unheard of in the plumbing world.
Not only did he come that day but he stayed and did whatever needed to be done and did not overcharge for a Saturday.
He is an excellent plumber, did not try to upsell anything, did not say I will be back tomorrow. Bottom line he did the job, did it efficiently and very down to earth!
I highly recommend Gabriel and Accolade Plumbing to anybody!!!!

Gabe is a great plumber and very professional. I tried to snake the drain for my kitchen sink but was unsuccessful. He was able to clear the drain out for me and gave really good advice about preventative maintenance, products, etc. I'll definitely call Gabe for any plumbing services needed.

We had some concerns about potential root intrusion in our soon-to-be first home, and our realtor recommended Gabriel, and we're so thankful that she did! He arrived early and walked us through the process, even showing us how the plumbing was done by a previous contractor in our crawlspace. He was extremely professional, courteous and helpful, alleviating our concerns about the intrusions (luckily there were none), and going out of his way to show us how our line connected to the main city line, so we knew where things were in case of any future issues. Without a doubt we'll be calling him if anything goes wrong, as we know that he'll get it fixed the right way!
