Acclaim Plumbing called within seconds of me doing a search on Angies List... They were near me within a few blocks. The new owner seemed genuinely honest, I asked upfront if there was a service call fee and was advised there wasn't. He accommodated someone to work around my, flight out of town, schedule. Plumber was super experienced and knowledgeable. I had seen what my issue was prior to the plumbers' arrival, and was about to call and cancel, but he was so close he was there within a minute of my checking on the issue. My plan was to order it, and get a new yellow rubber seal for my KOHLER tank, which is only $4.75. I was then advised, by the plumber, that it was indeed my seal and he could replace it for $145. I called the new owner and he insisted that if there had been any damage, they would have had to cover it with insurance and the money was for protection on them, and a few other business fee reasons that he couldn't discount the exorbitant rate. MY issue is it ETHICAL to charge $145 ... Total at $167 .... for a $4.75 and less that 10 min ,,,,, $75-$100 ... should hv been more in range.... sadly, its legal to be a completely unreasonable for the amt of the part and the work performed; with all due respect the gentleman who was kind and gracious that showed up to my house. Unless the toilet is leaking and you can not get it to cease immediately, I would not call a plumber. 90% of the time, it can be done with simple parts from the box stores or Online depts..... Next time, Ill tell the plumber, I got it if its my toilets. If its pipes ... Id call them.

We had a new water tank installed through Acclaim Plumbing. I found them on the internet. Kevin promptly contacted me. We had the work done today, it was EXCELLENT! We will get them again when we re-plumb our whole house. They are very reasonable in price and like I said did excellent work.

Because of General Manager Dennis Smith's sexist, derogatory comments, he will NOT have the opportunity to bid on replumbing my house. His disrespect has cost the company, Acclaim Plumbing & Drain, thousands of dollars.

I've used Acclaim Plumbing twice, and each time they have been great. Their plumbers do the job right the first time and their prices are very reasonable. With these guys you're not paying inflated prices for extensive advertising like with some other companies. I highly recommend Acclaim.
