I needed to have 220 power shut off and 120 put in, dimmer switches installed and one outlet moved. Access Services Group was recommended to me by the company renovating my kitchen. Everything I needed done was described in detail to Access, including photos sent of exactly what was needed. Access sent out a guy who arrived and had, he said, no idea of what the job entailed and who had to go shopping for the parts he needed and so of course I was charged for that time. He also came without the proper tools and borrowed tools from the work crew doing the kitchen renovation! He proceeded to install the new 20V outlets I needed but used 14 gauge wire instead of the correct 20 gauge wire! He also installed new dimmer switches so that you had to turn the light on by flipping the switch down (could easily be done the correct/normal way) and he left the cover plates standing well over 1/8 inch off the wall. I called them and they sent another guy to fix the cover plates so they would sit closer to the wall and to turn the dimmer switches around as well. A different electrician I hired later discovered the wrong gauge wire issue. Before the original Access guy got too far down the road I also discovered he had overcharged me by one hour as well (which was adjusted). Go elsewhere for quality work!

I called access services the day after Thanksgiving 2017 I spoke with Roger the problem was my refrigerator and freezer and garage door all were not working. The first thing Roger said, ""before we schedule an appointment let me try to walk you
Through it and try and fix the problem ...well he FIXED IT!!!!!I saved money on the service call and my food in the fridge and freezer!!!! Thank you Roger for being so sweet and kind and rescuing this damsel in distress!!! I would highly recommend this company

I recently bought a home (1968 construction), so it needs love. I had some electric issues in the kitchen and initially called my home warranty (I won't renew), they sent out someone from another company who basically looked for every reason to deny responsibility and in reality fabricated the issues. I contacted my Realtor, Berkshire Hathaway and they directed me to access as there is a ""special rate"" for their customers.

I had two different electricians out on 3 occasions ( a lot of work). The kitchen problem was a tripped breaker! I did have them install 18 new lights, one being added in master bath shower and 3 outside security lights installed. I could not be happier with the quality of the work performed or the guys who attended to me, Brian and Russell. For sure I'll seek out Access in the future for all needs.

Also they were available on short notice, I had some vacation days and appreciated being able to check this project off my bucket list.

I believe they are honest.

Thank you very much, I have no reservations about recommending their services.

We needed AC repair in a hurry as we had a bed ridden family member. We called Access on recommendation of a friend and we're so thankful we did. Though the repair was simple, the technicians took the time to look the whole system over and not jump to conclusions. Heath is very professional and polite, couldn't ask for better customer service during a stressful situation

Reasonably priced emergency service IMO. Will definitely keep their number for future needs.

Hey Roger:

Maybe you should begin by letting your staff know when you are going to be out of the office. I certainly would not begrudge anyone from taking a day or two off. But when we were told we would be getting a call after lunch that is what we expected. Come to find out you won't be back til week.

And why are you the only one that can do electrical estimates? Funny how we originally got a bid for plumbing from your company and when we decided to go with a different plumbing contractor we have had nothing but delays and misinformation. Seems like we made the right decision on the plumbing contractor. Maybe we should re-think the electrical contractor as well.

Oh and what happened to free estimates? We were never told we would have to pay for an estimate but when your ""guy"" showed up, who by the way didn't even have any business cards, he charged us $75 bucks to give us an estimate we are still waiting on!

CUSTOMER SERVICE won my business!

They carry major brand name water heaters you can purchase at ANY big box stores but what sold me was the customer service I received.

A gentleman named Heath was who I was transferred to answer my questions when my water heater failed. He not only was kind, patient, understanding to my questions and concerns he provided me with options and educated me about tankless vs water tank and the concept between the two.

The mere fact is when I called other competitors including the big box stores everyone else was either too busy to take the call, wouldn't have the answers to my questions, rushed me off the phone or shuffled me through a phone system. Heath did not. In fact once I made my decision to go with Access I made sure to thank him for his time and to let him know why I chose to go with them to replace our water heater.

On day of install, we received advanced telephone call from driver confirming he would arrive on time and was in route. Clean, courteous employees performed the install noticed we had some corrosion on one of our pipes, fixed a small leak without any additional charge (outstanding customer service once again) and charged exactly what I was quoted over the phone.

I'm all about referrals and this company I would highly recommend!

Thank you to your entire crew including the office personnel who handled my initial inquiry telephone call!

I waited at my house for several hours waiting for the technician to arrive. The window was 3:30 to 5:00. By 5:30 nobody had arrived, so I called them got no answer. I contacted the manager on yelp and he said they didn't get an answer to their calls so they moved on. (They called me at 5:00, on a 3:30 to 5:00 window which makes me think they weren't going to make that window even if I did answer.) I still think its pretty ridiculous that the driver couldn't reach my house (I was checking the window for them on a regular basis) or knock on the front door like a normal person. If they were telling me the truth that means they were literally a few yards from my door when they decided to blow me off.

Nobody was physically abusive and they didn't burn down my house, hence the second star. But those are pretty low bars to pass. I will never use this company again.

My A/C unit went out and I called my home warranty company. They assigned Access Service group to come look at it. The technician came out on 9-9-2015 and diagnosed that I need a new motor and a blower wheel. The warranty company said they would pay for the motor but not the blower wheel. Access Service group charged me $270 to install the blower wheel. The tech comes out and installs the new motor and says everything is up and running. But I say I don't feel the air, he says its working fine and that's the best he can do. Then I say again, I cannot feel the air. Anyway, he says he can't do anything more to make it blow harder and says to sign the invoice. I paid the $270 and wrote on the invoice ""not sure if AC is working correctly"". I called the office as soon as he left and told them "" I don't think he fixed the problem"". But they say the tech said the problem is fixed, so its fixed. Sure enough, 2 hours later, the unit stopped working. I call them and they send another technician. He says the motor is fine, but the problem is the unit is low on freon. The office says its going to cost $800+ to locate the leak, fix it , and refill with freon. I say ok and then i called another company for a second opinion; they charged my $25. He said the motor is installed incorrectly. I then called Access group and told them what they said. Access group says if the motor is indeed installed correctly, I would have to pay another $45 service fee. After I complained about that, the service manager said if its installed correctly I would have to pay another $45 service fee but if its installed incorrectly, he would refund me back my initial $45 service fee. (I have this on voice mail), (They never give me back the refund). Access group sends out the first technician that installed the motor and he says the motor is running fine and the problem is that it is low on freon. I then call my home warranty company, told them the problem, they referred another company. As soon as the tech looked at the motor, he said its blowing backwards. I think he only switched the wires, but now its running fine. He said my freon is a little low but it should be fine. It took over 2 weeks to fix my AC.

Now, I'm thinking if I really needed a new $270 blower wheel, because this company don't know what they're doing because they wanted to fix a freon leak $800+ that wouldn't even fix the initial problem. Or maybe a very smart company that knows how to ripoff unsuspecting customers. I talked to the service manager, he was no help. I even tried to speak with the owner, but he didn't returned my call, nobody wanted to help. I think they are laughing all the way to the bank, with the initial $45 diagnosis fee, $270 blower wheel, and whatever the home warranty company gave them.

I'm upset at how this company handled this situation. I really don't think they were trying to cheat me but who knows. They just need better technician with a little more experience. They kept saying that he was their best technician and he couldn't make a mistake like that. They made me feel like I, owner of my own house, had no say of how something should be working. They are the professionals and they don't make mistakes. The service manager or the owner couldn't even call me to apologize. John
