Sent out by American Home Shield to fix a sewer ejector pump. Claimed the problem was that it wasn't getting power, so, of course AHS won't cover, but they get their service call fee. Called our regular plumber and low and behold it wasn't that at all. The pump overheated and went into safe mode. I guess they didn't want to get dirty.

Since 2004, I have been calling Accent Plumbing for all my plumbing needs from our Primary House to our rental houses. So for 19 years, only now that I am going to write them a Yelp Review. Sergio, Efrain and Efrain Jr. has always been my greatest hero 100% of the time. They have helped me with a 5 stars quality of workmanship for 19 years.

Recently, my being evicted tenant seems to have unplugged their water heater and called the City that they do not have hot water, instead of just communicating to me per their Lease Agreement, understandably, they are being evicted so it seems to me that they wanted to cause me any problem.

The City gave me a Warning Yellow Ticket to replace the water heater in 72 hours on a Tuesday late afternoon and requiring me to make sure that the tenant has water heater by Friday afternoon.

I called Accent Plumbing first because they are always my 1st choice, and they came Wednesday afternoon to diagnose and took photos and told me that someone unplugged the water heater, but if you want to replace the water heater it will cost under $1,700, I was ok with this price, I emailed the photos to the City Inspector, and told them all my Action items. I applied for an owner/builder permit which Accent Plumbing sign their portion. On Thursday morning, I got an email back from the City Permit Services that my application is rejected, because they wanted the Contractor to be the one to apply for the permit, because the tenant called the city to tell that they have no hot water because their water heater is broken, since Accent Plumbing was super busy that day, I panicked, I called another plumbing company just to ask if they can pull the permit and replace the water heater, that company in Burbank came to diagnose the heater and called me back and said, this will cost you $5,900, I will pull the permit and blah blah... I was disappointed, that was ridiculously super high quote.. this guy is a reap off, I got him from Yelp as well (beware, that plumber who priced me so high is in Burbank).

I called Accent Plumbing again to tell them what should I do, they said, maybe we can just repair it because it looks like someone unplugged the connections. I begged them to please help me, and they did on Thursday they were able to repair the water heater for just about $800. I pray that Accent Plumbing will be operational for the rest of my life, they are honest, reasonable and is family owned business, they are very respectful, their Office Staff Ms. Denise are super nice... why call someone who will reap you off? Call Accent Plumbing they are a licensed plumber for over 2 decades now.

Our home warranty company connected us with Accent Plumbing. We submitted the issue on Friday night, but since the home warranty company doesn't include weekends, we got a call from Accent Plumbing first thing on Monday morning. They gave us their first available, and sent Sergio out on Thursday morning.

I got a call from the office when the plumber was on his way, and he showed up like clockwork when they said he would. He quickly assessed the issue, and took care of it immediately.

I was very satisfied with the professionalism, responsiveness, and communication - and I was very satisfied with the results.

When our water heater broke in the midst of this frigid winter snap, Accent Plumbing Inc was referred to us by our American Home Shield (our home warranty company). Their staff, Denise, was extremely understanding with our untimely, frustrating water heater situation (the fact that my kids could not take a shower in this freezing weather!). So she quickly squeezed us in, and Sergio and another worker came out the 1st thing next morning! (I had called late afternoon and yet Denise worked her magic to have the plumbers come out so quickly!) They did have to run to a supply store after they figured out the issue. But when that did not resolve the problem, they ordered a new gas control valve to replace our older version, and as promised, they returned the next day promptly and fixed our water heater!! Sergio is truly an expert professional and has a keen insight as to what and how things should be fixed. I really appreciate the fact that Sergio did not give up on my water heater and worked on it until it was perfectly fixed! And he cleaned up the area and put everything back before he left. Thank you so much, and now we can take nice warm showers!

Home Warranty company sent Accent Plumbing to fix our two toilets. One had a sticky handle and the other took 20 minutes to fill the tank with water. We had another plumber look at it the other day to see if it would be less expensive than paying the home warranty company. The other plumbers said it was a $200 part, so we told them no thank you and called the warranty company.
I really liked Accent Plumbing from the very start. We called them on Tuesday. They let me know they couldn't be here until Friday, but that they did carry a variety of parts so they could probably get the job done the same day. That was important to me because we were having company on Saturday. Then, on Wednesday, they had an opening and offered to come by. They were in and out in 20 minutes. Sergio and JR. Quick and professional.
I'm so used to getting technicians from the warranty company that don't want to do the work. It was so refreshing to get exactly what I needed!

This company is a SCAM! Read my story:
This has to be the number one worst plumbing company I have ever dealt with. The issue is still not resolved. My faucet's filter needed to be replaced, and the plumber arrived, took a look at the filter, and then left, without so much as measuring the size of the thread. He had a terrible attitude and also refused to take a look at my shower's too-high pressure. The plumbing company ordered a part that took over a month to arrive, and it was the wrong size for my faucet when the plumber arrived to install. I showed the plumber the old part that needed to be replaced and asked him to please measure it so that he could order the right part next time. He refused, saying ""I don't measure things"" and left. I then called the plumbing company to ask for a different plumber to arrive right away to take measurements. I have not heard back from the company. That is where I am now, and this is TOTALLY unacceptable. I still do not have a faucet that works and it has been two months. Do NOT use this company!!

Accent Plumbing came to my house to install a garbage disposal. The replacement was to be with the same or like type of disposal. They came with the smallest (tiniest) garbage disposal that I've ever seen. I priced it (it cost $40). The one to be replaced was an Insinkerator. I asked for a bigger disposal, they left (6/17/22) and never returned. They are now refusing to service my request.
