I had a leaky flexible hose in my kitchen sink. American Home-shield sent a plumber from V n son, he tried to assess the problem but in the middle of his diagnostic, he said he cannot do the work when someone is watching n left. Then I was sent Efraim from Accent plumbing, he diagnosed the issues n fixed it in no time. Changed the flexible hose as well as strainer basket which was second issue I had. I am glad he didn't mind me looking while he did his work!! Efraim was very professional, he knew what he was doing and completed his work. I m glad AHS uses accent plumbing. If I need any plumbing work thru AHS, I will definitely ask for them and request Efraim.

On the first visit by Accent Plumbing sent by American Home Shield, the plumber, Jr, did not turn off the main water line before starting the inspection. Water went everywhere and he didn't even know where the main shut off was. THIS COULD HAVE BEEN A CATASTROPHE WITH WATER LEAKING BEHIND THE WALLS. BEWARE. Then he sent me this text when my part was ready. See photo. I have 24 hours to book an appointment after my part arrives or I lose the service charge AHS collected for Accent Plumbing? Unreasonable.

Late review: Used them in Feb 2018 via our home warranty. They were great and fixed the pipe that was leaking in our garage (pipe was connected to the washing machine). They did a great job, no more leaky pipe! Thank you Accent Plumbing!

Another Scam plumber. This company was assigned by American Home Scam (American Home Shield) to fix my water heater. They came to my home and right away point out that my exhaust vent was not 4 inch but 3 inch. I don't understand why this is such a big problem since the manufacture of the water heater saying that 3 inch exhaust vent is enough. They don't fix the problem with my pilot that won't keep lid on, instead they want me to fix the exhaust vent that cost me over $2000 and they won't be able to diagnose my problem until the exhaust vent has been fixed. They offered me to replace my water heater with tankless water heater etc. And i refuse to do this. This is not a plumber but a salesman trying to sell something to you. Untrusted, DON't invite them to your home if you don't want to get ripped off!!!!

This plumber referred by American Home Shied Home Warranty on December 16'2017. Sergio came to my home right away and checked on my water heater. The first thing he looked is the exhaust pipe which he recommend should be 4 inch wide. The problem with my water heater was the pilot always turn off every time it reached certain heat, so I have to keep to light it on manually. He did not see that. Right away he recommended me to switch the exhaust pipe from 3inch to 4inch. And before I did this, he won't be able to diagnose the problem. He offered me to pay him on the side since the American home shield doesn't cover the cost. So I called the manufacture for the water heater which is American Standard and they said 3 inch exhaust vent pipe is fine. The next day I call the American home Shield and they sided with this Sergio guy which had the wrong diagnose. Sergio insisted that I need to replace this exhaust vent pipe and it will cause me at least $2000 out of pocket since it goes to the wall and roof. What a rip off? Like I loss one goat and then I report it, then I lose a cow. This is a highway Robberry . Do not use this company!!! A bunch of scammer since they will tell you to do things you don't need to. I checked with 2 other plumbers and they said it is fine with 3 inch vent pipe. Untrustworthy and untrusted plumber. Buyers beware!!!!

First off, Accent Plumbing is recommended by American Home Shield. That should be warning enough. In my experience with American Home Shield and in my opinion, they are little more than a con. They play bait and switch. When you call in for a repair it is covered under your policy. When the work is done it is NOT covered. How CON-venient

With Accent Plumbing, they were sent out twice to fix the same problem. A leak under the bathroom sink, and a drain stopper. Who has time to waste waiting for plumbers who do not do plumbing work right the first time.

Arrived within the appointment window and did a great job. 2nd time Luis and his assistant have been here, for different problems, and am very pleased with all work performed. The only contractor I have truly liked that American Home Shield has sent out. Great job guys, thanks!

This company was referred by American Home Shield to diagnose a plumbing leak from the kitchen faucet. Prior to the service call, I clearly explained that this was a recall as the prior assigned company was not diagnosing it properly. This plumber from Accent Plumbing confirmed the faucet leak but told the insurance company that this leak existed prior to the contract which was completely false. I had a dishwasher put in a month prior and had a plumbing company come out to change the angle stop and there was no leak. Also have a contractor friend who was at the place multiple times in the past month working on different part of the condo and he too can vouch that there was no leak. Because of this false information, the insurance denied the claim and the insurance company charged me for work that wasn't even done! I had to hire another plumber to fix this problem. I called Accent plumbing and the girl who answered can only say ""what would you like us to do about it? You need to call your insurance company instead."" The reason why I'm in this mess is because of your company reporting misleading info to the home warranty. I was so fed up I canceled the home warranty insurance and I will be filing a BBB complaint shortly.

Accent Plumbing is the best! Honest, reliable, they go above and beyond to do a great job. The BEST technicians that our insurance company, American Home Shield, has ever sent to us!

Sergio and an assistant came to our house today. Sergio replaced a kitchen sink pipe under our house, he had to squeeze himself into a very narrow crawl space and did the job beautifully!

(BTW, another plumber had told me we needed to replace ALL of the pipes to the sinks. Sergio said we do NOT need this AT ALL!!! So nice to have an honest person come to help us with a plumbing issue!!!).

I would hire Accent Plumbing even without our home warranty service. We highly recommend them!

Amazing guys! I called them at 8:01am, they showed up at 8:30am and finished at 8:55am. Fixed and replaced a cracked fitting and leaky line.
