Twas the eve before Christmas eve and my house was freezing...

I had called another company to determine what was wrong with my HVAC system and all they did was spend 9 hours, without a plan and lots of expense. I then called TLC Plumbing at a recommendation of one of my property management experts.

I am wishing Rick B., Eddy and Rick a very Merry Christmas and a Stellar New Year. Thank you for your 24 hour turnaround to replace my Navien Boiler/Hot Water Heater unit. Your team was super responsive, professional and performed the work required to get my cold winter home warm again.

Had a client who required a shutoff valve installed to cut the gas feeding into the house and the only gas appliance, the stovetop. It is simple, any idiot can see that in the utility closet - a) gas line enters into house, b) splits to the water heater and c) the line going into the house. Shutoff valve on the line going to the water heater, a capped valve on the line going into the house. Photos taken - arrows and descriptions added pointing things out to explain - printed. Fail proof... or so one would think...

TLC arrives... appears tech makes excuses, don't want to mess with anything in the utility closet - despite the fact that even an idiot can see where the lines are going. Instead, talks the home owner into replacing the existing valve in the cabinet under the stove top. Not necessary, already a valve there!!!

$271 later - another scam job well done by TLC.

-- The lesson is, especially in Santa Fe - always question what these clowns tell you. Service personnel in this area seem to have spent more time on how to scam clients than actually learning their trade.

TLC installed my air conditioning unit approximately 5 years ago. The job was well done and initially they followed up and the right filters were brought to me when they did the seasonal work. But all of a sudden they didn't really care anymore and they brought the wrong sized filters and then stopped bringing any at all but always promised while never showing up. Sure, this is a good company INITIALLY because they aren't cheap but they are NO GOOD ON THEIR FOLLLOW UP. No matter how well they are promoted by the owner, David.

TLC has good & not so good electricians & plumbers. This company could not fix our radiant heat problem. They even tried to sell us parts that did not need to be replaced.
