He promptly diagnosed the problem, made the necessary repairs and cleaned the area. He did a great job. AC Service made a return service visit to check out what seemed to be a continuing gas leak on my stove. They came out first thing in the morning in response to a message I left the night before after the close of their business day. They found the problem quickly and put a new ""collar"" for the gas line in place. No more gas leak. Thanks AC! Knowledgable and professional.

My furnace broke on Saturday and called them to come and fix it. on the phone they told me the first hour would be $130 and each hour after will be $40. one guy came and spend about an hour and told me they did not have the part and would get it another day when the warehouse opens. on another day another guy came and spend about 3 hours putting the part in (exhaust fan). then the bill came and they charged me ~$600 for the labor. I went to talk to them and they told me they spend 6+hours on the job including the time they spend driving to the warehouse to get the part and their rate was $40 for each half hour after the first hour. What I feel I should pay was $130+$40*3.5=$270 and what they think I should pay was $130*1.5+$40*10=$595. I paid the bill because I did not record the phone call so I did not have proof. However, What I can do is not to use them in the future and warn others about their expensive service.

We chose this company because we prefer to use local Yellow Springs businesses. They provided an reasonable estimate to do plumbing and electrical work which we accepted for our bathroom renovation . When the final bill was received it was higher by a factor of four. When we asked the owner for an explanation he was hostile, attempting to record the conversation without permission, and accusing us of mismanaging the project. All other contractors delivered as promised at or below their original estimates.

Contacted this company to inquire about having some remodeling done, but they seem reluctant to do it unless I also buy the fixtures through them. They may have excellent reasons for this policy, but the lack of flexibility means that this won't work out for me (already purchased fixtures).
