Recently had two services from AC by J. The first was an A/C fall tune up. The second service was a Fall Plumbing inspection. In both nnstances, the technician was exceptional. The service provided was completed efficiently by a very qualified and professional representative. In every instance, the work performed was completed as requested, the technician as extremely skilled and the job was neat and clean, during and after completion. We've used AC by J at both our homes in Scottsdale for ~ 5 years now. Their service is always punctual and thorough. Their technicians are knowledgeable and professional. There's never a hard sell on their findings. They spell out their findings and its your decision as to what work gets done if any. We have both HVAC and plumbing contracts for annual inspections which has saved us money in the long run. We highly recommend the company.

AC by J are certainly experts and professional at their repairs. Personable and efficient at fixing the plumbing. What was done: new bathroom shower-tub plumbing which required cutting a hole in the wall to repair the plumbing; new kitchen faucet, sprayer combo with new valves; check up on all of the house plumbing; outside plumbing shutoff valve and repair of plastic irrigation pipes; new water heater and hookups. They did a lot of work which was done professionally and correctly so it won't have to be redone! The only step wrong with their system is that one had no idea as to cost of the whole process and cost of fixtures etc. I know that plumbing fixtures are expensive! The water heater alone was $1,300.00 so it is no surprise that it cost several thousand dollars. GREAT PLUMBING JOB EXPERTLY DONE. What is needed is an actual CASH ESTIMATE so you can get an idea as to COST.

AC by J always schedules appointments the same day, if at all possible. One day they even came at 8:15pm. The quality of their work is excellent. Their technicians are honest and always clean up after themselves.

I've been a customer for over 20 years because their honesty and professionalism is very important to me.

I have used these guys a few times. The service has always been great but they are a little pricey - $75 service call and an additional $98 for the ""plumbing health and safety"" package which sells for $29.95 on their website.

Update: office called and will apply the $98 to my next service. More than fair. Definitely recommend

It was after 5 pm when I realized that my A/C wasn't working as my house was getting hot. It was July 8th, so it was a hot and humid evening. I called my normal A/C repairman and he said that he could come by and check it out the next day. The family wasn't going to be able to sleep as the house was at 86 degrees at the thermostat and that isn't even the hottest area of my home. I went on-line to find an after hours A/C repair service. Luckily my 1st call was to AC by J. The dispatcher told me that she had a tech not to far away on another job. While she and I spoke, the tech called in as he was finished on a job, so she sent him to my house. Within a 1/2 hour of my 5:30 call, he was at my house. Within another 1/2 hour he had my A/C fixed, it was a bad capacitor. I was elated with their pricing as my total charge, parts and labor, was $239. By bed time, the house had cooled down enough for comfortable sleep. I deleted my old A/C guy from my cell phone and replaced him with AC by J!

I called AC by J because my AC went out in the afternoon heat here in Arizona. I first contacted my home warranty company and was extremely disappointed in their lack of customer service and cooperation. The technician, Darren, came out and was perhaps the most friendly and informative technician I have ever met. The AC was fixed in an hour and I had relief from the 110 degree heat. I will continue to pay out of pocket for this company to service my AC and I will ask for Darren to be dispatched the call if possible. Absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend them :)

We had exceptionally great customer service by Chris from AC by J. He made a house call to check our broken AC at midnight and then came back the next day to help us out again. Very thorough, friendly and professional. You can count on these guys, they will accommodate their clients and that's hard to come by these days in customer service.
