After reading the reviews about Absolute Rooter & Plumbing, we decided to call them, for our broken faucet pipe, in the front yard of our house.

OUTCOME: They showed up on time, Kareem was nice to talk to, and he gave us a good price! Not to mention, they didn't take too long and got the job done right!

I was referred to Absolute Rooter & Plumbing Service by my Home warranty company. I spoke with Kareem and he was very friendly on the phone, and despite the fact that he was being paid by my warranty company, and not me - he offered me his first available. I appreciated that so much!

I was not home when Kareem did the repairs but I am told he was very fast and very professional. I am very pleased with the work he did.

I am writing this review for a very interesting occurrence that happened while Kareem was at the house. When he was done, the water would not come back. He went back around the house and tried everything to figure out what the problem was. He informed us he has tried everything and was unsure why it would not come back on? He had other appointments and had to leave. The reason the water did not come back, is because unrelated work was being done in my neighborhood and the city had turned off our water. No problem! This is where I was impressed....Kareem called me back the following day to ensure that our water had come back on and that we did not need him to come back. Are you kidding me!? That is amazing customer service! I could not believe he was so polite to call back and offered to come back. I was thoroughly impressed and definitely would use him the future. Thank you!

Kareem saved my day today. He gave me a straight forward estimate and no runaround unlike the other companies who accepted Fidelity home owners insurance. He fixed the leaky pipes on the same day.

Absolute Rooter and Plumbing Services really helped us out when we were in a pinch. Well after normal working hours, my shower valve developed a leak and left my house without a functional place to bathe. I called Absolute and Kareem told me he'd come by and take a look at it in the morning. He gave me an estimate, let me know what needed to be done, and I accepted the bid. Everything went just as expected and Kareem even changed out the shower fixtures for me at no extra charge. The price was fair, the work was completed quickly, and the end result was a happy family that could shower again. I would recommend Absolute for all of my friends and will continue to use them moving forward.

Kareem from Absolute is the best! My toilet seemed to always get clogged and when I use to get plumbers to unclog it, it seemed like I would call one at least once a month or so. When Kareem from Absolute came for a same day appt. I told him I felt like this was happening all the time. So he suggested to do a camera inspection on the main sewer line to see what the problem was, so I agreed. He showed me that there were roots in the line and that was causing everything to back up. He then suggested doing a hydrojet to clear out the lines for a great price so I agreed. Since then I haven't had any problems with my toilets and no more sewer smell! Thanks to Kareem! He was so professional and knew what he was doing. I recommend him to all my friends now.

I am very surprised with all the 5-star reviews on yelp. I called Absolute Rooter based on referral from Home Advisor to snake a washer drain that clogged up in my rental property. My regular plumber Moe Zuleta with A-1 Rooter was unavailable, but he usually cleared this drain in 20 minutes and charged $50 .

Kareem with Absolute Rooter showed up for a same-day appointment with a very nice Mercedes utility vehicle. It goes downhill after that. He charged $129 minimum for service call which I reluctantly agreed to since he was already there. Remember, in the past A-1 Rooter only charged $50 to clear this drain.

I had to go back to work, so I left Kareem to complete the job with my tenant present. Two hours later Kareem called saying that he wasn't able to clear the drain with regular 75-ft snake, and that the clog required a hydrojet cleaning that would cost $699 (but may not solve the problem) or for definite repair, he would need to do a pipe replacement for $2500!!!!

In short, I declined. I called Moe Zuleta at A1 Rooter for the next day. Moe came, snaked the drain open in 30 minutes and charged me $68 to fix the problem that Kareem Haddad ""couldn't"" fix without an upcharge up to $2500! What a rip-off! Afterwards, I looked at Home Advisor reviews and noted that several other customers had fallen victim to this bait and switch scam by Kareem. Apparently this is his normal modus operandi.

My advice: stay away from Kareem Haddad with Absolute Rooter.

P.S. Kareem wanted me to pay the $129 even though he didn't do the repair. I negotiated the fee down to $60 which he finally accepted. BUT IT SHOULD BE $0 since he didn't fix the problem (which Moe Zuleta was able to fix easily and quickly for $68 charge)!

Had a big gas leak . Gas company came out turned off gas and spent several hours removing the remaining gas that lingered in the air. Next day called absolute to locate where the gas leak was. He said because the gas was off it will cost 465.00 to run a test so they can locate leak. said, what if its underground. He said,"" I can guarantee its not underground. Fifteen minutes later he says the leak in underground and there is no way to locate the leak without tearing up different parts of the foundation and poking holes everywhere.. The best thing to do is totally repipe. I said, "" Wait a minute, thats not what you told me. If you would have explained to me, that if its underground you will not be able to locate it, and what that entails I would not have paid for the test. When I questioned you prior to the test, you said, and I quote, ""I can guarantee the leak is not under ground"". So I agreed to the test... I said, You were very misleading. I agreed to the test because you assured me it wasn't underground & locating the leak would be much cheaper than repiping the whole house. Then he told me he smelled gas by the sprinkler valves. He could not have smelled gas, because at that point the gas had been shut off for 24hrs.There was no gas smell. The worst part was he quoted me 9 to 12,000. to repair it. When I questioned his quote, he said, ""Look, you are getting a total repipe"". By our conversation he knew I would not accept that price, he suddenly was able to reduce it to 5,200.00..??? That was clue questioning his honesty.. After getting 2 other bids, both well below his 1st bid.. I went with a well known plumbing company who did a full repipe for 4,100.00, almost 3 times less than his 1st quote of 12,000. And still, 1,100.00 less than his 2nd quote. Not a good experience. I do not like price gouging and taking advantage of an emergency situation.
