Ken and team are great! I had just moved in to a new house in Wilmington, and was lucky enough to have my 30+ year old gas furnace stop working in the middle of the night right after moving. Ken had his team out to the house the next day to look at it, exactly when promised, which is great because we were without heat and it's getting cold! They were professional, honest/transparent, and most importantly knowledgeable (even giving some great advice on a separate plumbing project I asked about....and now will have them do as well!). Definitely recommend these guys and plan to use them for all my heating/plumbing work from now on.

Ken provides personalized service and gets to know you and what you need. We discussed options, and he worked to make sure that our solution was cost effective. He helped us to add a return air duct, fix a leaky connection in a propane line, and brought in an electrician to move a thermostat. Once we were able to get a proposal, he worked diligently to schedule a date and kept to his commitments.

Had a water issue three days after moving into my new home. Call these guys based in the reviews and they were great! They sent someone out within an hour of my call. They were very friendly and professional. I have a small baby and they did there best to be mindful of any noise. They looked into all possibilities for the cause of the issue and although we could not definitively determine the source to due to layout of my home we were able to narrow it down and come up with a plan to narrow the possibilities further. We have had no further issue since their visit. I will definitely use them again if needed in the future.

We knew our 55 year old boiler needed to be replaced after the first winter in our new home. We called Absolute Precision Plumbing & Heating and Ken got back to us almost immediately to schedule a time for an estimate. Ken came to our home the next day and evaluated our needs. He was professional, friendly and he thoroughly went over our options: replacing our old steam boiler or upgrading to a high efficiency forced hot water boiler with baseboard heating and an indirect water heater. His estimate was competitive and his knowledge exceeded other heating contractors we also had come out. Considering we live in a 100 year old home, we had many questions about the feasibility of upgrading to the high efficiency system and the logistics of doing so. Ken was more than happy to come to our home on multiple occasions to discuss the details of removing the radiators, how the heat would get to our second floor, and placement of the new baseboard heating, etc. and he did it all with a friendly smile.

The work was performed precisely in the manner it was described and in exactly the time frame that was quoted for us. Considering the work of removing radiators and installing baseboard heat, I feared the worse when it came to my home being a mess when I returned from work each day. Instead it was the complete opposite. I wouldn't have even known they were there except with the improvements they made. Furniture was always placed back exactly where it had been prior and they always left everything just as clean as before they started that day.

We are very happy with the work that Ken did in upgrading our hot water and heating system and I would highly recommend this company. We now have an impressive and efficient heating system that will get us through many cold winters.

They were fantastic! I had an emergency hot water heater repair at 6pm on a Friday and they came right out to fix the issue. Mark was there for several hours narrowing down the exact issue and then came back out the next day and finished the job with Brad. They explained each step of the process to me and were very reasonably priced for the repairs needed. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good plumber.

Ken did a great job on my new heating system. I have not had a single issue since it went in 2 years ago. Subsequently, they have done several projects for me around the house including a new kitchen with a farmhouse sink and custom bathroom sink. Ken gets right back to you, which is really helpful when you had emergency issues. Whether planned installs or emergency, they are responsive and do a great job

I have read with interest the reviews on Absolute Precision. I recommend that any prospective customer STAY AWAY from that company and never use its principal Ken Roberts.

Some years ago we engaged the services of Absolute Precision. After we paid Mr. Roberts and his partner tens on thousands of dollars for a HVAC system, the heating system routinely failed. The house was typically at 55º in the morning, as the heating system had shut down overnight. I made repeated contacts to Mr. Roberts to remedy the situation.

In fact, Mr. Roberts had under-engineered the system, recognized that he did not know what he was doing, and needed to call a heating specialists from Wakefield. That heating specialist subsequently called a specialist from Melrose to help him.

I was subsequently STUCK WITH THE BILL for the services to finish the work which Mr. Roberts had incorrectly designed. Of course, I could have sought legal recourse. We all know how that works don't we? At what cost in time and effort would that recourse have made?

Have used Absolute Precision for many years. When I first contacted Ken, he told me that there was only 1 other local plumber as good as he was. While he wouldn't tell me who his competition was, I quickly lost interest because Absolute Precision's service is so good. Most of the time, Ken sends Randy and he is the best! When I see Randy, I know that my problems will be fixed quickly and professionally. Most recently I had the misfortune of having my water heater go at the same time that a heating pipe froze after contractors opened up a wall. Absolute Precision was quick to respond and had the problems solved in no time in spite of challenges of weather and construction. Call them!!
