The bad news was that my kitchen sink decided today to stop up. I used my plunger, we took apart the drain to see if that was clogged, which it wasn't, and decided that it needed to be snaked. I looked on Yelp for help and called Absolute Plumbing. They said they could be here in a couple of hours. Raul arrived in one hour, agreed it needed to be snaked, did the job and was out of here in less than 1/2 hour. The price was very reasonable and he even gave me their first time customer discount. So, for less than $100, I was back in business and very pleased with their service. I'd definitely call them again.

I have to admit, I am a Yelp user and abuser. I have always turned to Yelp members for suggestions and reviews but have never actually contributed with my own reviews. Maybe I just never experienced anything that super amazing or super awful to move me to write a review until now. Absolute Plumbing was an Absolute miracle! They came to my rescue when I ended up having a broken sewer line in my home. (Not fun) They made the whole experience easier with thier professionalism, promptness, knowledge, courtesy and compassion. Jose worked long hours (after hours I might add, when others would charge double or triple time) and was as neat and tidy as you can be in this type of situation. Any mess made was cleaned up before the days work was done. Their prices are extremely competative and Jose was a true advicate when it came to dealing with the big bad dirty wolf a.k.a the insurance company. I whole heartedly recommend this company. Absolute amazing service.

I had tile guys replacing the tile in my bathrooms today, and while they were removing the toilets a leak started behind the shutoff valve. After frantically calling people to figure out how to shut off the water to my condo, I called Absolute Plumbing to come fix the shutoff valve.

They came in an hour and fixed the shutoff valve quickly and at a reasonable price, without any overtime fees because it's a Saturday. And he's coming back on Monday to fix the other list of problems I gave him. I definitely would recommend to other people. :)

Absolute replaced a sewer line under my house and I couldn't be more pleased with their service. I found them through YELP and was impressed with their rating. They worked with me on price, showed up promptly and got the work done in a day. The technician, Raul, besides being a very nice guy, took the time to check into other drain lines under the house and found other problems which they took care of without extra cost. In fact, I offered to pay them more but the kindly refused. I would definately recommend them if you are looking for plumbing work!

Jose was like an angel from plumbing heaven! I thought that a drain line was leaking and needed an expensive repair. Jose checked it out and said it wasn't leaking at all. He identified the real leak in about 5 minutes and told me that I could fix it myself with a $2 tube of caulk.

Aside from that money-saving honesty that I love so much, Jose arrived on time, was friendly and explained plumbing issues to me, and the price was fair. (And I have to say that I do appreciate a plumber that's easy on the eyes, like Jose!)

And if all of this didn't convince you that you should hire Absolute Plumbing, you should hire them because they have a clever logo.

Pluses:

He did fix the problem, though it's a temporary fix I believe.

Minuses:

- More than an hour late. I understand being late, but at least be responsible enough to contact your other clients. I had to initiate a phone call to find out what was going on. Since I had to post a notice in my condo building on the hours when the main would be shut down, this was a little unnerving.

- I hired an actual plumber to fix the issue rather than a handyman because I believed the issue was pretty extensive to resolve. And it is, but it took about 30 minutes for the plumber to understand what I was telling him (I had communicated the issue to two other handymen, who got what I was saying right away). Basically I got handy-man level service at plumber costs.

- Bent the existing cover to the cartridge, and didn't fix it or mention it. Cleanup and help on the next step (he left me one thing to do) was a bit sloppy.

I called for a non-emergency plumbing issue. They schedule an appointment between 8-9 AM the next day. I waited until 9:30 and then gave a call. The reception on their end was terrible, but I managed to make out that they had made a mistake on the schedule. Not a good first impression that wasted an hour and a half of my time. I did not reschedule.

Wham....Bam...thank you mam (or should I say sir?) ...fastest $180 I have spent in 10 minutes!

I needed a plumber last week to fix my shower handle. Darn thing didn't want to turn all the way towards the hot water, therefore I had to suffer through a cold shower! I don' t do well with cold showers so I called several different plumbers to try to come & fix it. I decided on Absolute based on how knowledgeable they sounded on the phone, reviews here on Yelp & the ease of making an appointment with them. They advised me beforehand that the water may need to be turned off & the job may take up to an hour. Luckily, they replaced my shower handle cartridge without any problem & I was able to get to dinner earlier than expected, YAY!

I really have no complaints about them! The following is why you should call Absolute next time you have plumbing problems...

*Hours 6am- 6pm...very convenient since I didn't need to take time off of work. Other places wanted to charge me ""overtime""...yeah right!

*Knowledgable staff...I explained the problem over the phone & they knew what the likely problem was & what needed to be done. I called other places & they told me they needed to make an appointment to come look at my shower handle then they could make another appointment to fix it...that's ridiculous!

*Reasonable & reliable quotes...I paid exactly what I was quoted on the phone for parts & labor...no surprise charges!

*Timely: Plumber arrived right on time...I hate waiting!

*Friendly service

*Professional attire...no butt crack here!

*They love Yelp! They encouraged me to write a review! He did let me know that they were a small business. He gave me several note pads with their business name & logo which say ""Loved by Yelpers"" on them.

I would definitely call them again, but hopefully not too soon!

Yes polite guys. But after reading reviews i expected a higher level of
expertise. On Mon Raul repaired my sewer pump after he made 2 phone consultation s w/someone else.All was well i thought even though he said he could not warranty work because of what he found (1 item) in the pump basin
that he said was the cause of the problem. Friday the pump is not working just 5 days later. Jose called me Sat . to tell me what the problem was with pump this time,i was quoted the replacement cost.When i requested it in writing it was now higher than the phone quote. Needless to say it doesnt leave me with much confidence in when the original repair and diagnosis was wrong,if replacement was needed it would have been nice to know the 1st time.
So yes i am disappointed and will not use them again. Seem like nice people though.

Discovered a small leak in a pipe above our kitchen last Monday. Glad my wife saw it when she did! The next morning I called Absolute Plumbing. They were at our home by 10:00 AM and had the leak fixed within an hour. Very courteous, professional & reasonable. We will definitely refer them to our friends.
