I have never written a review before, but I had to for Jonathan Gonzalez with Absolute Plumbing. He has to be one of the honest and best plumbers in the area. Call him after I receive a quote from another plumber who wanted to open up a wall and remove and replace toilet and with a high price tag. Jonathan was able to do the repairs without all that additional work and the cost and service was excellent. I would highly recommend Absolute Plumbing. Charles, Oxnard, CA

My water heater showed signs of going out during weekend. Called Absolute plumbing, Johnathan answered right away and scheduled for first thing Monday. Install and haul away done Monday morning. Direct, professional customer service. High quality equipment and thorough professional install. Has earned my trust and future business. Would highly recommend!

I called Johnny to come and have my sewer lines checked out because we have been having plumbing issues. I had already gotten 3 other plumbers here to get estimates and to just check the overall condition of our pipes (we had our main line done 2.5 years ago for an insane amount of money by another company and now need to replace sewer lines) because we had a bad experience in the past with another company I am trying to get as many eyes and numbers on the situation as possible. That being said Johnny was so thorough, no b.s., and even cleared the lines for us while we decide how to move forward!! I can't tell you enough how much ease I felt in dealing with him and being genuine and forthcoming goes a long way with people. Will absolutely be calling Johnny for future work! (because unfortunately for us it's inevitable lol) at least I know we will be dealing with someone honest!

Right before work my water heater started to make a deep noise and leaking water. I called Absolute Plumbing based on the reviews and them being local. I am glad I did. My first call was quickly answered, they had plumbers in the area and could have them on their way. 40 min later Cris and Ivan were at my door.
I had done some research so I already had an idea of what would be needed and cost. Cris and Ivan explained the issue, the solution and checked my water heaters warranty. 10 minutes later they had a list of what they would do, plus get me up to coding standards and an estimate that included them getting a replacement water heater through the existing warranty. The estimate was very fairly priced and I had them get started. They got to it, took out the old water heater, expansion tank and lines, went to pick up the new parts and had it all installed in 4 hours.
It is hard finding good service, quality work, done in a timely manner AND at a fair price!
Absolute Plumbing is my new plumbing company for future work. Great job!

I came across Absolute Plumbing and Rooting through yelp reviews. 5 star company with more than 100 yelp reviews, I figured it was a reliable company. Well they did not disappoint and I was very impressed by the owner's kindness. I was having low water pressure inside my home. I couldn't have two different sources of water running because I would hardly get any water. As soon as I told him the issue I was experiencing, he told me the issue was coming from my water system. He went above and beyond and he gave detailed instructions on how to solve the issue at NO COST! Within a minute, the issue was resolved. It's very nice to see that there are professionals out there that don't like to take advantage of the situation.

My husband and I have needed to replace our kitchen faucet for a while. I finally got around to it, today. They came when expected and were extremely clean polite and knowledgeable! My expectations were more than met. These two young men were fabulous. I will call them in the future if we need plumbing assistance! I will tell friends and family in the future! Absolute Plumbing and Rooting is owned and operated by Johnny Gonzalez. He is a remarkable man who does a remarkable job. When I've had problems, he shows up, evaluates the problem quickly, and fixes it. Simply stated, he knows his stuff. When you interact with him, be prepared for someone who is honest, straightforward, professional, and courteous.

When I moved into my new home in Oxnard in mid-2023, Johnny redid my sink in a specular way. He told me who to see to get the sink I wanted, what type of faucet he thought was best, and what was necessary to install the sink.

This wasn't an ordinary installation. The sink had to fit into a space in my kitchen island, and Johnny had to literally carve out the space to make it work. He did a masterful job. I recall walking into the kitchen while he was in the midst of doing the job; Johnny was standing in the space where the sink belonged, and he was grinding away to make room! From a new homeowners perspective, it was hilarious. However, that said, when he was finished his work product was incredible--it looked as if the sink had been there all along. I might even go so far as to say that it was pure art!

Johnny takes care of the little things too, and he shows up and he doesn't mess around. As for his crew of fellow-plumbers, from what I can tell they either get the job done to his standards or they don't stick around.

You cannot go wrong with Absolute Plumbing and Rooting.
