I found Absolute Plumbing and Drain to be an efficient and fair service. It was easy to get an appointment for a free estimate and the people on the phone were very accommodating. Scott, the plumber who came to my house, was very pleasant and helpful. He answered all of my questions and cleaned up a problem somebody else had caused. I would not hesitate to use this company again.

Came out within an hour, determined the problem was not holding down the lever on the toilet long enough -- but that took about 15 minutes. Total cost? $0. Next time I need a plumber, I know who to call.

I received a phone all from Absolute Plumbing following my review. I was very impressed with their customer service follow up.

They informed me that the plumber who came to my home is no longer with the company and his behavior was completely inappropriate. They assured me that none of their current plumbers would behave in the way that the previous person did.

I was thankful for the call and the reassurance. I was initially afraid to even post my previous review because, well, the guy knew where I lived after all.

In the event that my regular plumber is out of town again I will absolutely give Absolute Plumbing a call in an emergency.

I needed the annual backflow test done on my rental property in Oakland. I used Absolute Plumbing and Drain last year and again this year. They were fast and easy to deal with and quickly got the job done.

These guys have helped me out of a ""jam""-ed sewer pipe twice in the last five years. Very prompt, courteous, each time explained exactly what they needed to do and what the problem was. All that and reasonably priced to boot. Couldn't be happier.

Called to get a quote for installing a new gas line for a fireplace. Had to reschedule the first time due to them being stuck on a job site, no big deal, but the reschedule date they were 40 minutes late and came with no equipment. One of them seemed to be in training, but i was not impressed with their knowledge. I was told that they would send me a quote but have yet to receive one. They asked if I've received quotes from other companies and what they quoted me at. Not worth the headache for scheduling.

I asked them for help with some minor plumbing issues recently. They sent a young unknowledgeable person to my home who was not able to answer my questions other than continually complaining about how big a job this was going to be. They came back the next day with a massive estimate, that was 4 times as much as the other company. Then they continually harassed me by phone and emailed me from a do not reply email. Just stay away and don't ever give them your info.
