We have used Absolute Best a few times and they have been fine. We had a shower leak and called them. They came over and told us that we needed to cut a whole in the wall and replace the unit and do some other things and quoted us $950. They didn't even take anything apart to see what was wrong. It seemed like way too much and we called another plumber (Accurate Plumbing). They took the handles off and found it only needed a washer, saving us over $800. I won't be using Absolute Best again.

Very prompt responses and on time. I thought we had a leak but Tom checked everywhere and didn't find anything. I always fear that my lack of knowledge of plumbing or electrical or mechanical will be taken advantage of. Tom's honesty will keep me loyal and I'll refer all my friends.

This is the 2nd time we have used the services of Absolute Best Plumbing. The name is a perfect description of what to expect from Tom and his crew. I couldn't get a bolt loose on a toilet seat I was replacing. Tom managed to squeeze my request to replace the seat into his schedule the same day. The crew was here when I was told they would be here and the job was completed without any issues. They are definitely the ""go to"" plumbers in the Chico area.

All joking aside, I encountered a front yard underground pipe leak mere days after purchasing my home. My frugal self attempted to repair the leak on my own - bad idea. Fortunately, Yelp pointed me in the direction of Absolute Best Plumbing. I can confirm that this company lived up to their namesake.

I found Tom and crew to be efficient and professional. They initially stopped by and he let me know (free of charge) how to fix the leak myself with a $10 Home Depot plumbing part and a little elbow grease. As grateful as I was for the complimentary advice, I opted to have his crew perform the fix as I was worried I'd end up causing more harm than good had I attempted to continue fixing myself. It's rare to see a small business owner dish out free advice so I was very appreciative of that.

Tom and crew were able to professionally and promptly repair the leak. I found them to be friendly and polite. The pricing was fair and the payment process was simple. I appreciated how they provided a one year warranty, too.

In a town of many plumbing companies, I'm grateful to have chosen Absolute Best. They got the job done and provided me with peace of mind.

I had a problem with the ancient sewer line for my house. A very well known company had come out to work on the line and only partially replaced the line and had much difficulty in getting the job done which did not include replacing the entire line. Soon enough , I needed the rest of the line replaced and E's had to know that just a partial replacement wasn't going to last . For those interested sewer line material back in the 60's was essentially wood fiber, adhesive and coal tar pitch prone to collapse over time.
I fortunately found Absolute Best Plumbing by searching online and thought I would take a chance and get an estimate. Talking to Tom during that estimate had me confident that he was the man for the job. Price competitive, fast repair , and no issues after the job was done. I know who I will count on for any other plumbing issues.
